Abstract

Every government program certainly has the support of the local government to the bottom, such as the village government. Likewise, with the Village Building Index (IDM) program, of course, every local government is racing to succeed even, by all means, will try to get achievements from the program. But in the Ngroto Village Government, by carrying out village government functions as usual, by existing rules get achievements as a village with the highest IDM score at the National level in 2018. This research uses qualitative methods with the approach of intrinsic case study Robert K. Yin. Indeed, this approach received a lot of criticism since its emergence because it was considered weak analysis, not objective, and full of bias, but in research not only “why,” but also “how” Ngroto Village Government with its habit got maximum results. With this approach, researchers can explore and elaborate in-depth and comprehensively. The case study wants to know more deeply when the village government is not oriented towards achievement or achievement can become the village government with the highest national score. The village government applies legal regulations such as the implementation of musdes and musdus to filter aspirations and involve the community in planning development programs (participatory). Such efforts continue to be carried out by the village government to achieve achievements and are now a pilot center for other village governments.

Abstract

Kita mengenal kehidupan di pedesaan relatif statis. Dalam penelitian ini kondisi tersebut kita pahami tentang praktik sosial dan keberlangsungan kehidupan warga masyarakatnya. Kewilayahan menjadi latar belakang gagasan penelitian ini karena sebuah kenyataan dimana dinamika kehidupan masyarakat pedesaan tidak dapat dilepaskan dari posisi tersebut. Tetapi permasalahannya adalah bahwa kewilayahan bukanlah sebuah kondisi fisik yang statis sebagaimana yang sering dibayangkan oleh orang awam. Dalam kewilayahan tersebut terbangun praktik sosial yang juga dinamis. Guna mencermati dinamika masyarakat pedesaan inilah, penelitian ini menjadi penting untuk mempelajari bagaimana dinamika itu terbangun, dengan rumusan masalahnya yaitu bagaimana praktik sosial terbangun dalam ruang dan waktu kehidupan masyarakat di daerah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan perspektif teoritis Anthony Gidden tentang praktik sosial yang secara spesifik lekat dengan konsep perentangan ruang dan waktu. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang mendalam. Pilihan metodologi sini diarahkan untuk tujuan mendapatkan penjelasan tentang peristiwa sosial secara menyeluruh atas keterhubungan semua gejala yang ada dalam regionalisasi kehidupan warga masyarakat di wilayah pedesaan. Muara dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah penjelasan mendalam akan praktik sosial yang dijalankan oleh warga pedesaan dalam regionalisasi yang nampak dalam rutinitasnya yang nantinya dapat diimplementasikan sebagai dasar pengembangan wilayah pedesaan.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um021v2i22017p050

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to find out the poverty alleviation conducted by the village government through the implementation of development planning in Ngroto Village. The village government has an obligation to carry out its duties in carrying out village development which is then listed in the Village Medium Term Development Planning (RPJM Desa). Ngroto Village, Pujon Subdistrict, Malang Regency is one of the villages that has problems at a high poverty level, namely in 2011 reached 477 Family Cards (KK) based on BPS Malang Regency. However, currently poverty has been successfully eradicated by the village government as evidenced by the number of poor people who are only 27 families. This research was compiled using qualitative research method with intrinsic case study approach. The results of this study show that the efforts of the Ngroto Village Government in improving the accessibility and capabilities of the community are the main factors so that poverty alleviation can be successful. In addition, in the process of implementing or preparing development planning, the Ngroto Village Government prioritizes collaborative and participatory aspects with the community so that the development carried out can be on target.

Abstract

Desa Tambak Kalisogo merupakan salah satu desa dampingan PT. PGN,Tbk melalui program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Hingga saat ini TPA di desa itu memiliki kapasitas sampah lebih dari 92%. Maggot merupakan salah satu serangga yang dapat digunakan pada teknik biokonversi dan tidak berpotensi menyebarkan penyakit. Metode yang digunakan yakni persiapan kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, sosialisasi, pelatihan pemilahan sampah dan penanganan sampah organik untuk media budidaya maggot, pelatihan dan praktik budidaya maggot, pelatihan kewirausahaan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan bahwa masyarakat Desa Tambak Kalisogo melalui BUMDes ingin serius melaksanakan kegiatan budidaya maggot dengan fasilitasi pembangunannya dari pendanaan CSR PT. PGN, Tbk. Kegiatan dari persiapan, pelatihan, hingga fasilitasi pembangunan paket budidaya maggot saat ini sudah terimplementasikan dan sudah menghasilkan maggot mulai dari stadia telur, stadia larva, hingga stadia lalat.

Abstract

Various quite extreme natural disasters have hit various parts of the world this year. Starting from America, China, Indonesia to Greece and Spain. Even Al Jazeraa re-wrote the list of disasters that occurred in a long list in early November, 2021. There has been a change in the orientation of disaster studies in the last decade, if initially discussing more technical issues about disaster triggering events and handling disaster victims, an approach that emphasizes more on human and community approach. In this study, trying to provide an overview of the sociological perspective of disaster management, which discusses the diversity of understanding, responses and patterns of local communities in dealing with disasters as well as understanding, responses and patterns of external actors or organizations in disaster management. Disaster planning and preparedness activities are a continuous learning process, not an end goal. The sociological perspective is not just knowledge, but must be a guide in the preparation of programs of activities, priorities, and strategies for implementing sustainable disaster management. Abstract

Jatiguwi Village is a rural area located in Sumberpucung District, Malang Regency, East Java Province and is located about 35 km to the southwest of Malang City. The opportunity for economic development in Jatiguwi Village has begun to be promoted through Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa). In this village, BUMDesa has been formed since 2016 under the name of "Jatidiri" BUMDesa which already has several business units, looking at the potential of Wayang Topeng Malangan cultural art which is a typical asset of Jatiguwi Village, so since 2021 the end has been trying to be developed in an effort to raise "Jatidiri" BUMDesa. The consideration of the development of this new business unit is not without reason, because it considers the elements of economic potential that exist in this cultural art. However, the lack of human resources capacity in BUMDesa to carry out business development. As well as other obstacles, namely the lack of knowledge of marketing strategies for BUMDesa products so that they are less able to compete and penetrate the market. So through this Community Service activity, it is sought to be completed, so that in the future through the strong institutional role of the "Jatidiri" BUMDesa will be able to perform and can make a real contribution to efforts to improve the welfare of the lives of the residents of Jatiguwi Village with open business opportunities and be able to increase Village Original Income
