Abstract

Abstract: Trash can cause environmental problems if its existence is not handled properly. The ever-increasing garbage dump every year causes many problems to occur in the Final Disposal. This study aims to analyze the condition and distribution of waste that exist in three tourism objects in Banyuwangi, among others in Santen Island, Blimbing Sari and Beach Boom. This study uses SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that the cause of the distribution of waste on the beach because many people are used to throw garbage in the river so that household waste brought into the sea and the habit of littering. Although there are some bins in the tourist sites but the existence of the trash is less so functioned and less well maintained so as not to attract tourists to dispose of waste in place. Abstract

Abstract The development of tourism sector is able to encourage support industries of tourism emerging, such as hotel industry, restaurant industry and entertainment industry. The existence of tourism supporting industries can increase the local revenue through taxes suc as hotel taxes, restaurant taxes and entertainment taxes. This study is aimed to determine about relationship of the tourist arrivels to the hotel tax, restaurant tax and entertainment tax. This research used periode data (times series) while the source data using secondary data, then analyzed by using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation method. The result showed that the number of travelers has significant correlation to the hotel tax of 84.5% restaurant tax 84%, entertainment tax of 84%. Abstract

Di Indonesia, tanaman kakao tersebar di berbagai pulau. Di Jawa Timur, kakao menjadi komoditas penting yang meningkatkan pendapatan petani dan mendukung ekonomi daerah. Hingga kini, kulit buah kakao di perkebunan besar umumnya hanya digunakan sebagai pupuk. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan cara yang lebih efektif dan bernilai ekonomis tinggi untuk memanfaatkan kulit kakao sebagai bahan dasar jamu herbal berupa ekstrak kulit kakao untuk pencegahan penuaan dini atau anti-aging. Kegiatan ini ditujukan kepada para petani kakao di Desa Sumberagung, Kecamatan Siliragung, Kabupaten Banyuwangi, dengan program yang berlangsung dari Maret hingga November. Tahap awal meliputi survei lahan petani kakao di Desa Sumberagung, kolaborasi dengan petani, pengumpulan bahan baku, pembuatan desain kemasan NutriCao, penyelenggaraan workshop pembuatan jamu NutriCao, sosialisasi mengenai jamu NutriCao, dan publikasi. Program ini memberikan kontribusi positif bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan dalam menangani limbah kulit kakao, bekerjasama dengan petani, serta menciptakan peluang kerja.

Abstract

Penglipuran Traditional Village, a cultural tourism icon in Bali, is widely recognized for its commitment to environmental cleanliness and the preservation of traditional values. This study aims to examine in depth the contribution of local guides in enhancing visitor satisfaction. A mixed method approach was employed, combining both quantitative and qualitative analyses. Data collection techniques included field observations and the distribution of questionnaires to 62 respondents. The findings indicate that aspects such as information delivery, service ethics, communication skills, and the creativity of local guides received predominantly positive responses. The majority of respondents rated these aspects as "Good" to "Excellent", indicating a high level of tourist satisfaction with the services provided. Practically, the results highlight the importance of improving communication capabilities and developing innovations in technology-based information delivery. The study concludes that local guides play a vital role as facilitators of authentic and satisfying tourist experiences, as well as agents of cultural preservation within the context of a tourism village.
