Abstract

Feasibility study is a study assessing a project to be undertaken in the future. This research aimed to analyze whether the broiler business by partnership pattern at Prospek Mitra Lestari (PML) was feasible to be continued. This research analyzed two models of cage that is traditional cage (open) with a scale of 10,000  and modern cage (close) with a scale 14.500 and decided whether they were financially feasible or not. In addition, this research aimed to compare between traditional cage and modern cage with estimation for one year (six harvest times) and to analyze which cage had better feasibility in order to provide recommendations or suggestions to the breeders or young breeders. Sensitivity analysis was based on current input and output data from breeder in 2012. The feasibility study of chicken broiler farm cage partnership with traditional and modern cage with the next ten year estimation showed that the modern cage was better than the traditional cage. It can be seen from the values of NPV, IRR, PP, B/C, GPM and ROI. Sensitivity analysis shows that traditional cage is more sensitive to price changes than modern cage. It is shown in the traditional cage with the capacity of 10,000 produces smaller values, indicating that is it is sensitive to cost increase by 2% and to selling price decline of chicken by 1,7%. The recommendations from this study include inputs to farmers in selecting a modern cage since it is more feasible than the traditional cage for long periods of time, while the traditional cage is more viable than the modern cage if the farmer wants a shorter investment timeKeywords: Feasibility studies, Broiler, modern and Traditional cageABSTRAKKelayakan merupakan studi  menilai proyek yang akan dikerjakan di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisisis apakah usaha ayam broiler dengan pola kemitraan pada Prospek Mitra Lestari (PML) layak untuk diteruskan. Penelitian ini menganalisisis dua model kandang tradisional (open house) dan kandang modern (close house) dengan skala yang berbeda, yaitu 10.000 dan 14.500 layak atau tidak secara finansial, selain itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan antara kandang tradional dan kandang modern dengan estimasi selama sepuluh tahun untuk untuk memberikan rekomendasi atau masukan pemilihan kandang kepada peternak atau peternak pemula. Analisis sensitivitas didasarkan pada data penenerimaan dan pengeluaran terbaru dari peternak pada tahun 2012. Kelayakan usaha ayam peternakan broiler pola kemitraan kandang tradisional dan kandang modern dengan estimasi sepuluh tahun ke depan menunjukkan bahwa kandang modern paling layak dibandingan dengan kandang tradisional. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai NPV, IRR, PP, B/C, GPM dan ROI kandang modern lebih besar dibandingkan kandang tradisional. Analisis sensitivitas menunjukkan bahwa kandang tradisional sangat sensitif terhadap perubahan harga dibandingkan dengan kandang modern, hal ini ditunjukkan pada kandang tradisional kapasitas 10.000 ekor menghasilkan nilai terkecil yaitu peka terhadap kenaikan biaya sebesar 2% dan penurunan harga jual ayam sebesar 1,7%. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adala masukan kepada peternak dalam memilih kandang, yaitu kandang modern lebih layak dibandingkan kandang tradisional jika untuk jangka waktu yang lama, sedangkan kandang tradisional lebih layak dibandingkan kandang modern jika peternak menginginkan waktu investasi yang lebih pendek.Kata kunci:  studi kelayakan, ayam broiler, kandang modern dan terbuka

Abstract

Banyuwangi is currently focusing on the development of tourism development area II with its main attraction being Sukomade. Sumberagung Village is one of the villages in the area. Sumberagung Village has potential as a tourist village , but does not yet have a tourism village development model that can be used as management guidelines. This causes the absorption and use of village funds to be less fully absorbed so it is necessary to formulate a special strategy for tourism villages. This research is focused on making a strategy design with the Blue Ocean Strategy approach with a four-step framework analysis, namely Eliminate, reduce, raise and create. Through the approach of eight aspects of forming a tourist village, the results of the study show that Sumberagung Village is in the development stage so the focus of the development strategy that is considered appropriate is fitness tourism by maximizing the creation of new tourist attractions.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi komoditas unggulan dan daya tarik wisataprospektif yang mendukung pengembangan agrowisata dengan berorientasi pada potensi desaSumber Arum. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menyusun strategi pengembanganagrowisata berbasis community-based tourism yang bias diterapkan dalam pengembanganagrowisata desa Sumber Arum. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan DesaSumber Arum sebagai objek penelitiannya. Analisis penentuan komoditas unggulan dan dayatarik wisata menggunakan metode perbandingan eksponensial (MPE). Penyusunan strategipengembangan berbasis community-based tourism menggunakan analisis IFE, EFE, IE, SWOT,dan AHP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Selada Air, seledri, dan pakis merupakankomoditas unggulan untuk pengembangan agrowisata. Strategi-strategi pengembanganprioritas yang dapat direkomendasikan kepada desa Sumber Arum untuk mengembanganagrowisata berbasis community based tourism yaitu (1) memanfaatkan potensi lahanpertanian menjadi zonasi agrowisata, (2 memberikan pelatihan dasar kepariwisataan kepadamasyarakat pelaku agrowisata, (3) bekerjasama dengan pelaku industri pariwisata untukmemperkenalkan destinasi agrowisata, (4) menciptakan brand agrowisata berbasismasyarakat, dan (5) meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat untuk pembaharuan produkagrowisata.Kata Kunci: Agrowisata, Community based tourism, Desa Sumber Arum, dan Strategipengembangan.

Abstract

Kabupaten Banyuwangi merupakan kabupaten yang memiliki potensi wisata yang cukup menarik, salah satu objek wisata yang cukup dikenal adalah wisata kebun kopi Gombengsari yang terletak di kaki gunung Ijen. Para warga Gombengsari mengolah hasil panen kopi mereka secara mandiri, mulai dari tahap pemanenan biji kopi yang matang, pengupasan kulit, penjemuran, pematangan, proses penumbukan dan pengemasan, dalam proses tersebut masyarakat Gombengsari sudah menggunakan teknologi yang tepat namun ada satu proses yang masih menggunakan cara yang tradisional yaitu proses penjemuran biji kopi. Sehingga proses penjemuran inilah yang menjadi permasalahan petani kopi Gombengsari, mengingat cuaca di wilayah Gombengsari yang relatif dingin terutama pada musim hujan selain itu petani kopi Gombengsari mengalami permasalahan dalam memasarkan produk kopi bubuk hasil perkebunannya. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang dihadapi petani kopi Gombengsari, maka tujuan dari pegabdian ini adalah membantu mengatasi permasalahan melalui teknologi tepat guna mesin pengering biji kopi menggunakan teknologi rotary dan pelatihan manajemen marketing pemasaran. Selain itu untuk mencapai target luaran sesuai permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam proses pengeringan, digunakan beberapa metode, yaitu meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi dan pelatihan, kunjungan lapangan, pengadaan peralatan serta pendampingan dan monitoring evaluasi diikuti oleh petani kopi Gombengsari. Dari hasil pengujian untuk mengeringkan kopi basah sebanyak 10 kg.

Abstract

Determining competitive price is one of the ways to win in a market. The rate can be concluded by accurately calculating fixed and variable costs incurred in a business. However, regarding determining room costs, many homestay businesses do not apply proper calculation techniques. Their price often does not reflect specific activities, as many cost categories are indirect and fixed. This study compares the basic rate for homestay room business using traditional, and activity-based costing (ABC) approaches. Activity-based costing can allocate activity costs appropriately based on the consumption of each activity. This study collected data through observation and interviews at a homestay, additionally commanded a descriptive analysis. The data source was obtained from internal data, namely, financial data obtained from the homestay. There were three stages of data analysis, i.e. (1) calculation of the cost of renting the room using the traditional method; (2) calculation of the cost of rent for rooms using the ABC system; (3) comparison study between the calculation of the cost of rent for the room currently used by the homestay with calculations using the traditional method and the ABC System.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify superior commodities and prospective tourist attractions that support the development of agro-tourism oriented to the potential of Sumber Arum village. Besides, this study also aims to develop agro-tourism development strategies based on community based tourism that can be applied in the development of agro-tourism in Sumber Arum village. This research used a case study approach with Sumber Arum village as the object of research. Analysis of determining superior commodities and tourist attractions used exponential comparison (MPE) method. The arrangement of development strategies is based on community based tourism using analysis of IFE, EFE, IE, SWOT, and AHP. The results showed that water lettuce, celery, and ferns were superior commodities for the development of agro-tourism. Priority development strategies that could be recommended to the Sumber Arum village to develop agro-tourism based on community based tourism are (1) utilizing the potential of agricultural land into agro-tourism zoning, (2) providing training about basic tourism to agro-tourism society,(3) collaborating with tourism industry stakeholders to introduce agro-tourism destinations, (4) creating community-based agro-tourism brands, and (5) increasing community involvement for renewal of agro-tourism products.

Abstract

Abstract The research aims to determine the quality of tourism services that most affect the satisfaction of visitors and formulate strategies to improve the quality of Banyuwangi Cemara Beach tourism services. This research uses Servqual method of IPA method (importance Performance Analisys) to know the level of importance and satisfaction of visitors, The research used a sample of 30 respondents who are tourists who have been to Cemara Beach. The result of the research is recommendation of improvement that is 1) The strategy related to entertaiment is as follows: Factors attractions are what can be seen, what can be done what funds can be purchased, the addition of information services, and Realization of the development of facilities on the remaining land accompanied by improvement facilities which has existed ; 2) Strategy related to Managerial that is Optimalization of promotion activity online and non-online, Increase of parking area of vehicle, especially four wheel vehicle, Improve quality of service through training for employees and improve management system of Cemara Beach and Coordinate intensively with stakeholders for improvement and sustainable development. Abstract

Abstract: Trash can cause environmental problems if its existence is not handled properly. The ever-increasing garbage dump every year causes many problems to occur in the Final Disposal. This study aims to analyze the condition and distribution of waste that exist in three tourism objects in Banyuwangi, among others in Santen Island, Blimbing Sari and Beach Boom. This study uses SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that the cause of the distribution of waste on the beach because many people are used to throw garbage in the river so that household waste brought into the sea and the habit of littering. Although there are some bins in the tourist sites but the existence of the trash is less so functioned and less well maintained so as not to attract tourists to dispose of waste in place. Abstract

Covid-19 merupakan virus yang ditemukan pada tahun 2019 dan terus bermutasi sampai sekarang pada tahun 2022 yang disebut varian omicron. Pandemi sangat berdampak pada perubahan pertauran perjalanan yang menggunakan kendaraan umum, karena penggunaan kendaraan umum merupakan faktor terbesar penyebaran virus covid-19. Peraturan di PT KAI (kereta api Indonesia ) sudah mengikuti peraturan pemerintah dalam mencegah penyebaran virus salah satunya adalah mewajibkan penumpang menggunakan masker selama perjalanan, namun penumpang masih belum melaksanakan dengan baik dan benar. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah penumpang sering melepas masker selama perjalanan. Hal tersebut dikareßnakan banyak keluhan dari masyarakat merasa tidak nyaman menggunakan masker lebih dari satu jam. Sehinnga solusi yang diberikan dalam pengabdian ini adalah memberikan edukasi pada penumpang tentang pentingnya masker serta membagikan masker bersticker aromaterapi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menggunakan masker dalam melakukan perjalanan. Tujuan lain dari pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kenyamanan masyarakat saat menggunakan masker sehingga bisa mencegah penyebaran covid-19.

Abstract

Banyuwangi Regency refers to the tourism industry as its leading source of regional income, promoting its tourism destination icon: The Triangle of Diamond. In addition to being an icon, The District Medium-Term Development Plan of Banyuwangi 2016-2021 asserted the Triangle of Diamond as its major project in the Tourism Development Area (TDA). Mount Ijen Crater in Licin District is assigned as TDA I, Plengkung Beach in Tegaldlimo District is designated as TDA II, and Sukamade Beach in Pesanggaran Subdistrict is registered as TDA III. It is expected that tourism is well-developed in rural areas and may increase the prosperity of its people. The analysis of the interactive model of Miles and Huberman (1992), we collected data, gave and recapitulated scores, and determined the final category as a tourist village. The results showed that Kemiren Village in area I, Kalipait Village in area II, and Sumberagung Village in area III are categorized as tourism villages. The three villages have corresponding advantages in cultural aspects, which can then be used to determine a tourism village development strategy. The area I involved the villages of Kemiren, Tamansari, and Kampunganyar. Area II involved Kedungasri, Kalipait, and Purwoagung villages. Area III involved the villages of Sarongan, Sumberagung, and Kedungwungu. Kemiren, Kalipait, and Sumberagung villages have the same advantages in cultural aspects, which can then be used to determine a tourism village development strategy.
