Abstract

Dental and oral health is an integral part of overall health that affects a person's quality of life. This study aims to describe the knowledge and attitudes of mothers who have preschool children aged 3-4 years at the Bertha Inpatient Primary Clinic in 2023. This research is a descriptive study using a survey method by distributing questionnaires. The sample of this study was 30 respondents from the mother at Bertha Primary Clinic who had preschool children aged 3-4 years, with the sampling technique that was using accidental sampling. Based on the research, it was found that the knowledge of respondents (mothers) regarding children's dental and oral health was in the good category, 14 respondents (46.7%), enough for 13 respondents (43.3.7%), and lacking for 3 respondents (10.0). %). And mother's attitude regarding children's dental and oral health with a positive category of 27 respondents (90.0%) and a negative category of 3 respondents (10.0%). Researchers suggest that mothers who have children increase their sources of information about dental and oral health by building partnerships with health workers or viewing social media. As well as implementing dental and oral hygiene since early childhood.

Abstract

Intra Uterine Device (IUD) is a tool or object that is inserted into uterus which is very effective, reversible and long term, and can be used by all women of reproductive age. The choice of contraceptive method can be influenced by several factors are knowledge, age, education, and parity, husband's support, etc. Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the low use of IUDs in women of childbearing age at Bertha Inpatient Primary Clinic 2023. Methods: This type of research is descriptive. The population of all women of childbearing age as many as 43 respondents. The sampling technique is accidental sampling. Data collection uses primary data with questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate for frequency distribution. Results: The results of 43 respondents have knowledge about IUD family planning are 69.8% poor category. Husband's support by positive category are 93%. In receiving family planning information are 95% in positive category. It can be concluded that the low use of IUDs is due to the knowledge factor of women of childbearing age, the majority of whom have low knowledge about IUD contraception at Bertha Inpatient Primary Clinic 2023.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan bentuk pelaksanaan kegiatan dosen yang ditujukan kepada masyarakat sebagai salah satu dari Tri  Dharma Perguruan Tinggi.. Tujuan Kegiatan ini yakni Peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pelayanan kesehatan pemberian edukasi ibu hamil dalam pencegahan anemia defisiensi zat besi dan pemeriksaan HB. Bertambahnya darah dalam kehamilan sudah dimulai sejak kehamilan 10 minggu dan mencapai puncaknya dalam kehamilan antara 32 dan 36 minggu. Melalui pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan kepada masyarakat maka ibu hamil dapat memperoleh asuhan kebidanan selama kehamilan dan Sasaran kegiatan Pengabdian masyarakat adalah Ibu Hamil dengan sasaran pemeberian Edukasi ibu hamil dalam pencegahan  Anemia dan pemeriksaan Hb pada ibu hamil di masyarakat di Bertha. Jumlah ibu – ibu hamil yang hadir sebanyak 30 orang ibu hamil, tekhnik kegiatan adalah melakukan pemeriksaan HB secara langsung pada ibu hamil : untuk tujuan praktis maka anemia selama kehamilan dapat didefinisikan sebagai anemia pada ibu hamil disebut ringan apabila kadar hemoglobin ibu 10,9 g/dl sampai 10g/dl,  Anemia sedang kadar hemoglobin ibu 9,9g/dl sampai 7,0g/dl. Anemia berat kadar hemoglobin ibu berada dibawah 7,0g/dl Kegiatan pemeriksaan dilaksanakan secara bergantian kepada ibu hamil yang sudah hadir di klinik Bertha . Dari 30 orang ibu hamil yang diperiksa HBnya ditemukan ibu hamil tidak mengalami anemia yaitu sejumlah 14 orang dengan presentasi 47%, dan responden paling sedikit yang mengalami anemia sedang sejumlah 7 orang dengan presentasi sebanyak 23%. Hasil pemeriksaan tersebut sudah diketahui ibu dan penanggung jawab klinik dan pemberian edukasi tentang gizi selama kehamilan juga sudah dilakukan
