The research was instigated by the low of students learning motivation. It knowing from the questinnaire of learning motivation. The aimed of this research at knowing the Effect of Implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning Model with environmental media toward students learning motivation on colloid lessson at State Senior High School 3 Pekanbaru. It was experiment research. Simple random sampling was used the technique of collecting the sample. the students of eleventh grade of IPA 1 as experiment group 1 by implementating of contextual teaching and learning with environment media. And the student of eleventh of IPA 3 as experiment group II by implementing of contextual teaching and learning model. The result of analysis showed that everage of student motivation learning at the experiment group 1 was higher than experiment group II was 77.04 > 67.47. both of them were the percentage on high category. The result of anlysis tes by using t-test, t-obseverved was (3.829) > t-table was (1.669). It meant that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It shows that there was effect of implementation of contextual teaching and learning model with enviromental toward students learning motivation on colloid lessson. This research aimed at knowing the effect of implementing peer instruction integrated guided inquiry model on reaction rate lesson toward student critical thinking ability. it was conducted at the first semester in the academic year of 2018/2019, and it was on reaction rate lesson at the eleventh-grade students of natural science 1 and 2 of state senior high school 2 tapung, kampar regency. it was a quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest group experimental design. 51 students were the samples, and purposive sampling technique was used in this research. instruments were essay test in the form of pretest and posttest and observation sheet. the obtained data showed that there was a significant effect of peer instruction integrated guided inquiry model on reaction rate lesson toward student critical thinking ability, about 8,4%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing integrasi peer instruction pada materi laju reaksi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 2 kelas yaitu XI MIA 1 dan XI MIA 2 SMA Negeri 2 Tapung Kabupaten Kampar tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan design pretes-postes. Sampel sebanyak 51 orang siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes essay dan lembar observasi. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing integrasi peer instruction pada materi laju reaksi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 8,4%.Kata kunci: inquiri terbimbing, berpikir kritis, laju reaksi

Abstract This research is motivated by the low level of learning outcomes of the students of science class XI at Bernas Binsus State Senior High School Pelalawan Regency. Therefore the experiment research is conducted by pre-test and post-test scheme to discover the effect of problem based instruction learning model by virtual laboratory media toward learning outcomes of class XI students at Bernas Binsus State Senior High School Pelalawan Regency at the subject of buffer solution. The subjects of the research are the students of class XI science in the year of 2015-2016 with two classes as samples: class XI science 3 (experiment) that consists of 28 students and class XI science 2 (control) that consists of 29 students. The research data is collected by using observation, initial data test which is homogeneitytest and final data test which are pre-test dan post-test, and documentation. To discover the effect of the implementation the learning model toward the learning outcomes, the formula of partial equilibrium (Kp) is employed. The effect differences are analyzed by t test polled varians. Analysis result of initial and final data indicates that t-counting = 2.79 and t-table = 1.67 in the significance rate of 5%. The value of t-counting > t-table that makes Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It indicates that there is a correlation of the implementation of Problem Based Instructionlearning model with virtual laboratory media toward learning outcomes of the students of class XI Bernas Binsus State Senior High School Pelalawan Regency at the subject of buffer solution, with the effect of 12.43 %. AbstractThis research aimed at designing Green-Chemistry-oriented Chemistry module on Electrolyte and Nonelectrolyte Solution lesson that was valid based on validity media expert, lesson expert, teacher practicality, and student response. It was Research and Development (R&D) research that implemented Borg and Gall Development model. It was administered at the eleventh-grade students of MIPA 1 of State Senior High School 1 Kampar. The instruments of collecting the data were validity test questionnaire by the experts, teacher practicality test questionnaire, and student response questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by using Descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The module could be stated appropriate, if it passed validity and practicality aspects. The validity result of chemistry module by 2 media experts and a material expert was 87.09% and it was on very valid category. Practicality test of 3 Chemistry subject teachers showed a result 87.84% that was on very practical category, and it was obtained a very positive response from 10 students, it could be seen from questionnaire result 90.78%. Based on these results, it could be identified that Green-Chemistry-oriented Chemistry module on Electrolyte and Nonelectrolyte Solution lesson was appropriate and practical to be an additional teaching material for teachers at a school.Keywords:Module, Green-Chemistry, Electrolyte and Nonelectrolyte Solution.

The present study was encouraged by the low learning outcomes of students at MAN 1 Pekanbaru that were influenced by the lack of students’ participation during learning process and caused teacher-centered learning. This study was a quasi-experimental research with Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. It aimed at investigating the effect of implementing learning model “Guided Inquiry-Based Portfolio Assessment” on students’ chemistry learning outcomes in colloid topic at XI Grade of State Islamic Senior High School 1 Pekanbaru. Afterwards, the samples of this study were students of XI Science 2 class as an experimental class and XI Science 3 as a control class taken through simple random sampling from all students of XI Science classes in academic year 2015/2016 as population. In addition, the data was collected by using tests including homogeneity test as the preliminary data in the previous materials and pretests and posttests as the last data, documentation, and observation. Then, the data were analyzed by using t-test. As the result, it was obtained that tobtained =2.880 and ttable =2.000 in significance level 5%. Therefore, it showed that tobtained ≥ ttable so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted which indicated that there was an effect of implementing learning model “Guided Inquiry-Based Portfolio Assessment” on students’ chemistry learning outcomes in colloid topic at XI Grade of State Islamic Senior High School 1 Pekanbaru with influence coefficient 12.5%. AbstractThis research was instigated by the low of student chemistry learning achievement at the eleventh grade of MIPA of State Senior High School 3 Dumai. Therefore, it was conducted an Experimental research with pretest and posttest design. This research aimed at knowing the effect of implementing Problem Based Learning model with Chemimagz media toward student learning achievement on Hydrocarbon lesson. The subjects of this research were the eleventh-grade students of MIPA in the Academic Year of 2017/2018. The samples of this research were the eleventh-grade students of MIPA 1 as the Experimental group and the students of MIPA 2 as the Control group. The data in this research were collected by using observation, preliminary data test that was homogeneity test, final data tests that were pretest and posttest, and documentation. Kp formula was used to know the effect of implementing the model toward learning achievement. The difference effect was analyzed by using Paired Sample t-test. Based on the data analysis of preliminary and final data, it was obtained that tobserved was 2,267 and ttable was 2,002 at 5% significant level. tobserved was higher than ttable, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It meant that there was an effect of impelenting Prblem Based Learning model with Chemimagz media toward student learning achievement on Hydrocarbon lesson at the eleventh grade of MIPA of State Senior High School 3 Dumai, and the effect was 8,27%.Keywords: Learning Achievement, Problem Based Learning, Chemimagz, Hydrocarbon

This research was instigated by learning activities that were not maximum because COVID-19 pandemic, so it was difficult to measure student scientific process skills at Vocational High School of Abdurrab Pekanbaru maximally. This research aimed at knowing student scientific process skills using Physics Education Technology (PhET)Virtual Laboratory on Acid Base Indicator lesson. Quantitative descriptive method was used in this research. Observation sheet, posttest question in the form of essay, and student interview as the supporting instrument were used to measure student scientific process skills. The subjects of this research were the tenth-grade students of TLM at Vocational High School of Abdurrab Pekanbaru, and the objects were student scientific process skills using PhET Virtual Laboratory on Acid Base Indicator lesson at Vocational High School of Abdurrab Pekanbaru. The samples were 20 of the tenth-grade students of TLM 3 at Vocational High School of Abdurrab Pekanbaru selected by using purposive sampling technique. Based on the data obtained, it could be concluded that student scientific process skills using PhET Virtual Laboratory overall were on good category. The highest percentage result of scientific process skills was on the aspect of doing an experiment 97.5%, and the lowest result was on the aspect of grouping skill 82.5%.

This research aimed at designing SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, Society) based Motion Comic media on Acid Base lesson valid based on the validation by the experts of material and media, teacher practicality and student response. It was R&D (Research and Development) with 4-D development model. It was conducted at State Senior High School 01 Kampar Kiri Tengah to the eleventh-grade students of Natural Science 3. Motion Comic media could be stated proper, if it completed the valid and practical aspects. Validity could be seen from the result of validation by using validation sheet. The validation result percentage by the expert of material overall was 92.22% with very valid criterion. The validation result percentage by the expert of media overall was 82.85% with very valid criterion. Teacher practicality test was conducted to 2 teachers, and the result was 85.71% with very practical criterion. Student response was obtained from 12 students, and the questionnaire result was 84.64% with very good criterion.

Rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa merupakan salah satu kendala dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XI pada materi termokimia menggunakan instrumen Four Tier Multiple Choice. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dimana sampel dalam penelitian diambil dengan teknik porposive sampling. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan Rasch Model. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 1 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes four tier multiple choice yang terdiri dari 20 soal, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menyatakan bahwa persentase pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XI MIPA 1 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru pada materi termokimia yaitu pada kriteria paham konsep 38%, kriteria tidak paham sebesar 32%, kriteia miskonsepsi sebesar 27% dan kriteria error sebesar 3%. Dari hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep termokimia kelas XI MIPA 1 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru masih kategori sedang.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen Scientific Habbits of Mind (SHOM) dan melakukan analisis validitas isi instrumen SHOM dalam pembelajaran kimia menggunakan indeks validitas Aiken. Metode penelitian ini adalah Research & Development dengan model ADDIE. Data validitas isi diperoleh dari empat validator ahli. Validasi isi dilakukan menggunakan lima kriteria penilaian: tidak valid, kurang valid, cukup valid, valid, dan sangat valid. Scientific Habits of Mind terdiri dari tujuh indikator: mistrust of arguments from authority, open-mindedness, scepticism, rationality, objectivity, suspension of belief dan curiosity. Dari hasil analisis validitas isi instrumen SHOM menggunakan indeks Aiken, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar butir instrumen SHOM memiliki validitas isi yang tinggi, sebanyak 16 dari 21 butir instrumen SHOM memiliki nilai indeks Aiken di atas 0.8, yang menunjukkan validitas yang tinggi dan 4 butir instrumen menunjukkan validitas sedang. Indeks Aiken untuk keseluruhan instrumen adalah 0,83 dengan kategori tinggi.
