This research used the research and development method which refers to development models from Borg and Gall. The conclusion of this research was the chemistry education game of role playing game (RPG) on reaction rate based that was developed fulfills the criteria both of as a media learning chemistry independence. The media expert gave good scores (75.00%), the material expert gave good scores (80.00%), the teachers gave very good scores (92.00%). In the first filed try out, the students gave very good responses (92.10%). The qualitative assessment was suggestions from validators, teachers and students who said that chemistry education game of role playing game (RPG) based on the material of the factors influencing reaction rate have been said good.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media in the form of E-Magazine based on multiple representations for chemistry learning in high school on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material. E-Magazine is designed using Adobe Flash CS6 software. The type of research used is research and development or research and development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall research model with stages including research and data collection, planning, product development, small-scale trials and product revisions. Data collection techniques used in the form of observation, interviews and questionnaires. Based on the results of the validation of material experts, it was found that the validity of the E-Magazine based on multiple representations for chemistry learning in high school on the resulting electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material was included in the very valid category with a validity value of 100% and for the validation of media experts a validity value of 88,46% with very valid category. The results of the practicality test obtained a practicality value of 95% in the very practical category and for student responses to the overall contents of the E-Magazine it was found that 50% of students said it was good and 50% of students said it was very good. Keywords: e-magazine, multiple representation, electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa E-Magazine berbasis multipel representasi untuk pembelajaran kimia di SMA pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Abstract

This[u1]  research was an experiment aiming at knowing the difference between the effect of Guided Inquiry model using Real and Virtual Laboratory Experiment on student science processes skill on Buffer material at State Senior High School Plus Riau Province in the Academic Year of 2016/2017. Samples of this research were the elevent grade student class MS 1 as the first experimental group amount 25 students taught by using Guided Inquiry model usig Real Laboratory Experiment and class MS 4 as the second experimental group amount 25 students taught by using Guided Inquiry Model using Virtual Laboratory Experiment. Simple random sampling was used in this research. Documentation and observation were the techniques of collecting the data. The preliminary and final data were analyzed by using Independent sample t-test. Based on the result the data processed, it was obtained  that tobserved was 2.432 and ttabel was 1.671 revealing that tobserved was was higher than ttabel. Thus Ho was rejected. This research finding revealed that the use of Guided Inquiry model using Real and Virtual Laboratory Experiment on Buffer material. Kp formula was used to measure the effect of using Guided Inquiry model, and the coefficient effect was 10.96%.Keywords: Guided Inquiry Model, Real Laboratory, Virtual Laboratory, Science Processes Skill, Buffer

Abstract

Practicum guides that usually exist in school was student workbook taken from chemistry book that were too a lead and not using a learning model so that it did not motivate students to think creatively. Therefore, it was necessary  a teaching material design that completing learning model. It was a Practicum module Problem Based Learning based. This research aimed at knowing the validity, prcaticality levels and student respond toward practicum module produced. It was a Research and Development (R&D) with Borg and Gall model. Subject of this research were a lecturer of material expert, a lecurer of  media expert, two teacher of chemistry and tenth students at the Eleventh Grade of MIA at State Senior High School 2 Kuok. The object of this reserach were practicum module Problem Based Learning  (PBL) based on electrolyte solution and non electrolyte lesson. Validity test questionnaire and practicality test questionnaire  and student respond questionnaire were the techniques of collecting the data. Data analysis was done by using Descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The result of data analysis shows that the validity level of practicum module Problem  Based Learning  (PBL) Based was 92.38% (Very valid) and the practicality level  was 85.60% (Very practice). Based on this research, it could be concluded that the Practicum Module Problem Based Learning  (PBL) Based on Electrolyte Solution and Non Electrolyte Lesson were valid and practice and got a good student respond to be used as teaching material in practical activity at school. Keywords : Practicum Module, Problem Based Learning, Electrolyte Solution and Non Electrolyte Lesson.

Abstract

Scientific Habits of Mind terdiri dari tujuh indikator: mistrust of arguments from authority, open-mindedness, scepticism, rationality, objectivity, suspension of belief dan curiosity.
