Abstract

Many people are familiar with banking institutions but not all are able to access banks and utilize banking products and understand the risks they face. Through Community Service activities in Cawang Village, East Jakarta, financial education is conducted to improve public financial literacy in Cawang Village, East Jakarta on financial services, financial services products, and how to get access to financial institutions especially banks, including providing knowledge on how to apply for credit to banks, as well as knowledge about the role of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS). The method used is financial education and to see the results of the impact on the material presented, an evaluation is carried out in the form of pre-test and post-test for participants present in the Kelurahan. The results of the PkM show that the literacy of PkM participants in Cawang Village in East Jakarta is quite good, because they already know OJK. LPS and banks and have transacted at banks. After financial education, 61.30% of participants experienced an increase in literacy. Literacy improvement is also determined by levels of education, age and gender. PkM participants can be said to have knowledge and confidence about financial service institutions and financial products and services, including features, benefits and risks, rights and obligations related to financial products and services Keywords: financial education; financial literacy; banking

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions that occurred in Indonesia resulted in an economic slowdown. Then the problem that is present in the banking sector is the difficulty of debtors in fulfilling their credit obligations. The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in the performance of the National Sharia BPR before the covid 19 pandemic and during the covid 19 pandemic for the period June 2018 - September 2021. In this study, performance was measured by the asset return ratio (ROA), capital adequacy ratio (CAR), ratio of non-performing loans (NPF), operating expenses to operating income (BOPO), and the ratio of loans to deposits (FDR). The research is included in quantitative research with a comparative type. The data used is secondary data in the form of the financial statements of the National Sharia BPR obtained from www.ojk.co.id. Data analysis in this study used paired sample t-test analysis with the help of the SPSS version 25 program. The results showed that only CAR and NPF had significant differences before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. While ROA, BOPO, and FDR had no significant differences. before and during the covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to provide understanding to MSMEs in the Cawang area regarding the application of economic digitalization to increase the productivity of MSMEs in the region, in particular providing an understanding of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard). It is hoped that these MSMEs will accept payments from their customers through QRIS so that they do not rely on cash payments only. The approach taken is to provide education about the benefits of using QRIS and how to activate it. Regarding payment transactions that are often made, 70% stated that they received payments in cash, meaning that more than half of the participants had not received QRIS. Regarding QRIS, 55% of participants stated that they had heard of it, but 54% stated that they were unfamiliar with it or not at all familiar with it. 72% want to expand payment methods so that they don't only accept cash but also non-cash. 77% said they were interested in knowing more about QRIS, and 72% said they were interested in trying QRIS. After education, participants who are interested in receiving payments with QRIS are directed to activate. Keywords: education, QRIS, UMKM, digitalization.
