Abstract

Pengaksesansuatu jaringanharus melibatkan beberapakomputer yang telah dihubungan ke perangkatNIC ke wired network dengan kabel, namun pada WLAN kabel tidak ada melainkandipancarkan kesemua arahdan setiap komputer dengan wireless NIC dapat terhubung ke wireless LAN. Semuaperangkat wirelessdapat terhubung ke suatu wireless LAN melalui Access Point, baik menjadi anggotaatau bukan anggotadari network tersebut.Dengan demikian tidak ada gunanya network tersebut dilindungi dengan NAT Firewallsebab siapa saja bisalangsung masuk ke balik NAT firewall. Selain kelemahan tidak adanya perlindungan fisik yang inheren pada koneksi wireless, kelemahan lain adalah terletak pada layer 2 management frame 802.11 serta kelemahan inheren protocol 802.11b itu sendiri.Kata Kunci :LAN, WLAN, NIC, NAT, FirewallJurnal Ilmiah KOMPUTASI, Volume 14 Nomor : 1, Juni 2015 ISSN : 1412-9434

Abstract

Dengan kemajuan  teknologi yang  semakin  canggih,  sekarang  ini  masih banyak sekali bahkan hampir semua jenis perusahaan masih menggunakan cara konvensional untuk pencatatan atau penghitungan cuti secara manual. Salah satunya  adalah  PT.   Intiloka.   Perusahaan  ini   memiliki  permasalahan  pada pencatatan cuti para karyawannya. Karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang dapat mengatasi hal tersebut. Software yang digunakan untuk pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah PHP, MYSQL dan XAMPP. Tujuannya adalah untuk membuat sistem pencatatan cuti yang bersifat komputerisasi. Manfaatnya adalah agar memudahkan proses pencatatan, baik perhitungan  cuti  setiap  karyawan  maupun  pengaturan  pengambilan  cuti  agar setiap tenaga kerja tetap bisa terdistribusi dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kepustakaan, observasi, wawancara dan analisis. Dari pembuatan sistem ini, harapannya bisa membantu pencatatan hak cuti pegawai secara akurat dan membuat Perusahaan tersebut lebih baik dalam mengatur tenaga kerjanya.

Abstract

Manajemen bandwidth menjadi hal yang mutlak diperlukan bagi jaringan multi layanan, semakin banyak dan bervariasinya aplikasi yang dapat dilayani oleh suatu jaringan yang berpengaruh pada penggunaan link dalam jaringan tersebut. Link-link yang ada harus mampu menangani kebutuhan user akan aplikasi tersebut bahkan dalam keadaan congestion sekalipun. Harus ada suatu jaminan bahwa link tetap dapat berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya walaupun terjadi ledakan permintaan aplikasi. Pada penulisanan ini akan dibahas mengenai Linux Traffic Control dengan mengimplementasikan manajemen bandwidth Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) pada PC router yang berbasiskan system operasi Linux. Manajemen bandwidth HTB ini bekerja pada lapisan network dalam jaringan TCP/IP. Software yang digunakan untuk implementasi ini adalah Cacti. Berdasarkan pengukuran yang dilakukan, penerapan manajemen bandwidth HTB pada jaringan TCP/IP menghasilkan nilai throughput yang mampu memenuhi ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan. Selain itu, implementsi manajemen bandwidth HTB dapat memanaged semua aplikasi jaringan sehingga dapat menghasilkan performa jaringan yang lebih baik dan stabil.Kata Kunci : HTB, TCP/IP, Bandwidth, LinuxJurnal Ilmiah KOMPUTASI, Volume 15 Nomor : 1, Juni 2016 ISSN : 1412-9434

In this scholarly writing explain about the making of the DVD leasing application program by using Visual Basic 6.0 programs consist of the login form Main Menu, the form customer, the form Rental Transactions and Customer Reports form can be printed.       Then, making this application utilizing Microsoft Access database on the facilities and work under windows operating system to facilitate in making this program       Lease is an agreements in which the tenant must pay or provide compensation or benefits from the objects or goods owned by the owner of the loaned items. Example of a lease in everyday life such as office building contract hire, lease land for agricultural land, hire / charter vehicles, rentals vcd and dvd original, and etc.
