Abstract

AbstractBackground: Traditional medicine knowledge is one of the local wisdoms and is passed down from generation to generation. Traditional medicine needs to be preserved in order to maintain the continuity of this knowledge; besides that, it requires a balance between modern medicine and herbal medicine. Herbal medicine is easy to obtain in the surrounding environment, at affordable prices and guarantees the safety of medicinal chemicals that are harmful to the body. The use of drugs for a long period of time is a habit that is harmful to the body organs because they contain certain chemical compounds that are not safe for human vital organs, so it is necessary to make an inventory effort by digging up information from traditional healers. This research is expected to make a significant contribution so that the role of herbal plants can be maintained and developed in the future.Objective: to inventory the plant species which useful as traditional medicines used by traditional healers of the Tolaki tribe in Puundoho village.Method: The method used in this research is a qualitative exploration, through an emic approach or a community and ethical perspective supported by scientific literature. The use of qualitative methods in this study is intended to describe people's knowledgeResults: The interview results with three traditional healers (mbu'wai) in Puundoho village about plants that can be used as traditional medicines. It can be found on the side of the road, garden and yard. The part of the plant used is the whole plant or part of the plant such as roots, stems, or leaves. The method to blend it is boiled or mashed. The use of traditional medicines is applied orally or topically.Conclusion: The types of traditional medicinal plants used by the Tolaki tribe in Puundoho village can be obtained from yards, gardens, and roadsides including sidaguri, ciplukan, jeringan, bangle, purslane, bandotan, boborongan, turi, meniran, ­­­­banjar berrywit, mesoyi, ketepeng, guava, ginger, kencur, blechnum nails and ketepengKeywords: Herbal medicine, inventarytation, medicinal plants, traditional medicineIntisariLatar belakang: Pengetahuan pengobatan tradisional merupakan salah satu kearifan lokal dan diperoleh secara turun-temurun dari generasi kegenerasi selanjutnya. Pergeseran zaman dan modernisasi dikhawatirkan akan menggerus kearifan lokal tersebut, sehingga perlu dilakukan inventarisasi dengan cara menggali informasi dari para penyehat tradisional. Penelitian ini diharapkan akan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan, sehingga peran tanaman herbal dapat terus terjaga dan dikembangkan di waktu mendatang.Tujuan: untuk menginventarisasi jenis-jenis tumbuhan yang bermanfaat sebagai obat tradisional yang digunakan oleh penyehat tradisional suku Tolaki di Desa puundoho.Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksplorasi yang bersifat kualitatif, melalui pendekatan emik atau perspektif masyarakat dan etik yang didukung literatur ilmiah. Penggunaan metode kualitatif dalam penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mendeskripsikan pengetahuan masyarakatHasil: Hasil wawancara dengan tiga penyehat tradisional (mbu’wai) yang ada di Desa Puundoho tentang tumbuhan yang dapat digunakan sebagai obat tradisional dapat ditemukan di tepi jalan, kebun dan pekarangan. Bagian tanaman yang digunakan adalah keseluruhan bagian tanaman atau sebagian tanaman seperti akar, batang atau daun. Cara meramunya yaitu direbus atau dihaluskan. penggunaan obat tradisional tersebut dilakukan secara cara oral atau topical.Kesimpulan: jenis tanaman obat tradisional yang digunakan oleh suku Tolaki di desa Puundoho dapat diperoleh dari pekarangan, kebun, dan pinggir jalan diantaranya sidaguri, ciplukan, jeringan, bangle, krokot, bandotan, boborongan, turi, meniran, rumput beriwit banjar, mesoyi, ketepeng, jambu air, jahe, kencur, paku blechnum dan ketepeng

Abstract

Indonesia is the center of the world's banana biodiversity, which is estimated to have 325 cultivated banana varieties and 12 wild banana species. One of the wild bananas that is still easy to find but has not been optimally utilized is the type of stones banana (Musa balbisiana). Apart from its leaves which are widely used as a wrapper for various kinds of traditional food, the heart of stone bananas is also widely used as a mixture of several types of traditional foods such as lawar. Stone bananas are also known to be used as traditional medicine in several areas. In addition, several research results reveal several pharmacological potentials of stone bananas such as anti-microbial, anti-malarial and antioxidant properties. The data used in this article were obtained through online and offline literature studies. The data obtained were then analyzed, synthesized then compiled and summarized to obtain information about the content and utilization of stone bananas. The purpose of this article is to gather information on the use of stone bananas in traditional medicine and some research that reveals its potential. This article is expected to provide information for the development of the potency of stone bananas both in traditional medicine and in modern medicine.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with very diverse natural resources, including the richness of plant species. The ancestors of the Indonesian people have used these natural resources very wisely, such as knowledge about traditional medicine. Indonesia is also inhabited by around 300-700 ethnic groups, each ethnic group has a different culture, tradition and local wisdom. This study aims to determine the types of medicinal plants, the organs used and how to process medicinal herbs by the people of Waur Village, District. Kei Besar, Southeast Maluku Regency, Maluku Province. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research data were then analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of descriptions and tables. The results of the study show that there are 20 species of plants that are used by the people of Waur Village, Maluku Province. The most widely used organs are leaves and the most widely used method of processing ingredients is boiling.

Abstract

Back to nature is a trend that is being favored by people around the world, including Indonesia. The use of herbal ingredients and traditional medicine has become an inseparable part of Indonesian people's lives. This study aims to determine the types of medicinal plants used, the parts used and how to use them by the people of Pokkang village, Kec. Kalukku, Kab. Mamuju. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The research data were analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of descriptions and tables. The results showed that there were 28 species of medicinal plants used by the people of Pokkang village, Kec. Kalukku, Kab. Mamuju to treat disease. The plant parts used are leaves, fruit, stems, roots and rhizomes. The way to use medicinal plants is by brewing, boiling, kneading, grating and making fresh vegetables.

Abstract

Kesehatan reproduksi adalah suatu cara untuk mencegah dan menyelesaikan masalah kesehatan reproduksi, seperti kesehatan fisik, mental dan sosial serta penyakit-penyakit yang ditularkan melalui hubungan seks.  Pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi sangat perlu dilakukan, terutama dikalangan remaja. Hal inii dikarenakan pada masa remaja, terjadi peralihan dari masa anak-anak menuju ke tahap dewasa. Begitu banyaknya perubahan yang dialami remaja, baik fisik maupun psikologisnya, membuat remaja acapkali mengalami berbagai permasalahan dalam kehidupan.  Tujuan edukasi kesehatan reproduksi diharapkan dapat mencegah dan melindungi remaja dari perilaku seksual beresiko yang dapat memengaruhi kesehatan reproduksinya sehingga dapat mempersiapkan remaja untuk menjalani kehidupan reproduksi yang sehat dan penuh tanggung jawab. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah tatap muka dan ceramah interaktif kepada remaja MA As’adiyah Lapai. Sebelum pemaparan materi, dilakukan pretest untuk melihat sejauh mana pemahaman siswa/i dan diakhir diberikan post test. Hasil kegiatan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman para siswa/i MA As’adiyah Lapai.
