Abstract

Abstract Background Nutritional status is a measure of success in the fulfillment of nutrition for pregnant women. Nutrition of pregnant women is needed in large quantities for the fulfillment of mother's own nutrition and the development of the fetus it contains. Objective This study aims to determine the relationship of initial weight, weight gain, and the final weight of pregnant women with newborn weight in postpartum mothers in the working area of ​​Sidomulyo Samarinda Public Health Center in 2017. Methods Retrospective analytical research with cross sectional approach. The sample consisted of 43 postpartum mothers who visited to immunize their children using a non probability sampling technique that is consecutive sampling. Technique of collecting data by taking secondary data exist in mother's KIA book. Univariate data analysis techniques use frequency distribution, mean, median, mode, and standard deviation and bivariate analysis using Pearson correlation test. Results The relationship early pregnancy weight with newborn weight was obtained p = 0.373 and r = 0.139. The relationship of weight gain during pregnancy with newborn weight p value = 0,595 and value r = 0.083. Late weight relationship of pregnancy with newborn weight p value = 0.258 and value r = 0.176.. Conclusions There is no significant relationship between maternal weight and weight of newborn. Keywords: Pregnant woman's weight, Weight of newborn baby, Intisari Latar Belakang Status gizi merupakan ukuran keberhasilan dalam pemenuhan gizi untuk ibu hamil. Gizi ibu hamil diperlukan dalam jumlah yang banyak untuk pemenuhan gizi ibu sendiri dan perkembangan janin yang dikandungnya. Tujuan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan berat awal, penambahan berat badan, dan berat akhir ibu hamil dengan berat bayi baru lahir pada ibu postpartum di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sidomulyo Samarinda tahun 2017. Metode Jenis penelitian retrospektif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 43 ibu postpartum yang dating berkunjung untuk melakukan imunisasi pada anaknya menggunakan teknik sampling non probability sampling yaitu consecutive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan mengambil data sekunder yang ada pada buku KIA ibu. Teknik analisis data univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi, mean, median, modus, dan standar deviasi dan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil hubungan berat awal kehamilan dengan berat bayi baru lahir didapatkan hasil nilai p = 0,373 dan nilai r = 0.139. Hubungan penambahan berat badan selama kehamilan dengan berat bayi baru lahir nilai p = 0,595 dan nilai r= 0.083. Hubungaan berat akhir kehamilan dengan berat bayi baru lahir nilai p = 0,258 dan nilai r= 0.176. Kesimpulan Tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara berat badan ibu hamil dengan berat bayi baru lahir. Abstract

Abstract Pregnancy will cause various changes in all body systems. The impact of changes in the musculoskeletal system often causes pregnant women to feel pain in the lower back area. One of the non-pharmacological methods that can reduce pain is with a warm compress that can provide benefits such as providing a sense of comfort, reducing or freeing pain, reducing or preventing muscle spasms, and providing a sense of warmth. This type of research is a pre-experimental design research that uses a pre and post test method with one group design. This research design uses only one group, so it does not require a control group (Sugiyono, 2016). With the one group pretest-posttest design, it is hoped that the results of the effect of giving warm compresses on pregnant women's back pain. The population in this study were 26 pregnant women (trimester 3) from January to March 2022 at Pupuk Kaltim Hospital. The sample amounted to 18 respondents who were selected using inclusion criteria.data analysis technique used univariate analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Wicolxon test. the results of this study showed that there was a significant difference in the frequency of back pain before and after the application of warm water compresses (p-value = 0.000) with a value of = 0.05. Warm compresses can provide benefits such as providing a sense of comfort, reducing or relieving pain, reducing or preventing muscle spasms, and providing a sense of warmth. Keywords: third trimester pregnant women, warm compresses, back pain Abstrak Proses kehamilan akan menimbulkan berbagai perubahan pada seluruh sistem tubuh. Dampak perubahan pada sistem muskuloskeletal sering menyebabkan ibu hamil merasakan nyeri pada daerah punggung bawah.Salah satu metode non farmakologis yang dapat mengurangi nyeri yaitu dengan kompres hangat yang dapat memberikan manfaat seperti memberikan rasa nyaman, mengurangi atau membebaskan rasa nyeri, mengurangi atau mencegah terjadinya spasme otot, dan memberikan rasa hangat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-eksperimen design yang menggunakan rancangan metode pre and post test with one group design. Desain penelitian ini hanya menggunakan satu kelompok saja, sehingga tidak memerlukan kelompok kontrol (Sugiyono, 2016). Dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design diharapkan dapat memperoleh hasil pengaruh pemberian kompres hangat terhadap nyeri punggung ibu hamil. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 26 ibu hamil (trimester 3) dari bulan januari hingga maret tahun 2022 di Rumah Sakit Pupuk Kaltim. Sampel berjumlah 18 responden yang dipilih menggunakan kriteria inklusi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dengan distribusi frekuensi dan analisis bivariat dengan menggunakan uji Wicolxon. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap frekuensi nyeri punggung sebelum dan sesudah penerapan kompres air hangat (p-value = 0,000) dengan nilai α = 0,05. Terdapat efektifitas kompres air hangat terhadap nyeri punggung ibu hamil trimester III di Rumah Sakit Pupuk Kaltim Bontang. Kata kunci : Ibu hamil trimester III, Kompres air hangat, Nyeri punggung

Abstract

The number of hypertension sufferers continues to increase, with East Kalimantan ranking 3rd highest in Indonesia. Pasundan Community Health Center, Samarinda City ranks second in terms of prevalence. Hypertension is influenced by factors that can and cannot be changed, including knowledge and nutritional status. Knowledge and nutritional status can influence blood pressure and its control measures. The research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge about hypertension and nutritional status with blood pressure control at the Pasundan Community Health Center. The research was carried out in March-April 2023. There were 53 respondents. Data collection was carried out by anthropometric measurements and interviews to fill out the questionnaire. Data were analyzed using chi-square with α<0.05. The results of the study showed that the p-value was 0.000 (α<0.05), meaning that there was a relationship between knowledge about hypertension and nutritional status and blood pressure control.
