Abstract

Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk me/ihat peranan orientasi mlai budaya pada kepuasan kerja. Subjek penelitian ini adalah karyawan berke­ bangsaan Indonesia yang bekerja pada perusahaan swasta asing di bidang administrasi di bawah pimpinan seorang atau tim yang berlatar belakang individualisime, yang berdomisili di Jakarta.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa (1)   skor orientasi ni/ai budaya pada kelompok karyawan perusahaan asing mempunyai distribusi normal, (2) on'entasi nilai  budaya mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja pada karyawan perusahaan asing, (3) orientasi nilai budaya individualisme subjek penelitian  ternyata tidak signifikan pengaruhnya terhadap kepuasan secara keseluruhan, kepuasan terhadap upah, dan kepuasan terhadap promosi. (4) orientasi nilai budaya individualisme dan  kolek­ tivisme pada karyawan perusahaan asing mempunyai hubungan yang positif, dan (5) secara keseluruhan kepuasan kerja subjek penelitian cukup tinggi.

Abstract

Intrinsic motivation as a theory emerged in a study that defies the effect of reward to performance. This claim was strongly opposed by behaviorists, who believed that the role of rewards as reinforcement was very important. This controversy continues until today. Since then, there had been competing researches guided by two different perspectives.This study examines the relationship between intrinsic motivation and performance through meta-analysis techniques. 24 studies were selected according to the inclusion criteria of this study, and analyzed to find the correlation of intrinsic motivation and performance. The result show that correlation between intrinsic motivation and performance is r = 0.26. This result could lead to two conclusions. The first conclusion could be that there is a significant correlation between intrinsic motivation and performance. On the other hand the correlation was not as strong as expected, meaning that external factors, like reward, could have stronger correlation with performance.  Key words   :   meta-analysis, intrinsic motivation, performance

Abstract

The Anchor Personality Inventory (API) is based on the Anchor personality theory. The objective of this study is to perform a comparative analysis between the internal structures of API and Big Five Personality. The data was collected from 333 students from a university of various faculties. The data analysis to examine the structure of API was an exploratory factor analysis. The result of the study shows that the API constructs fall into different factors, separated from the Big Five Personality constructs. Virtues is the strongest construct of API, followed by material, self, and others. Anchor Personality Inventory (API) merupakan konstruksi alat ukur kepribadian menurut teori kepribadian anchor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan struktur internal konstruk dari API dengan konstruk kepribadian berdasarkan teori Big Five Personality. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 333 mahasiswa satu perguruan tinggi dari berbagai fakultas. Teknik analisis data untuk menguji struktur dari konstruk penyusun API adalah analisis faktor eksploratori. Hasil analisis faktor menunjukkan bahwa keempat konstruksi anchor memiliki loading factor yang terpisah dari lima konstruksi kepribadian Big Five Personality. Virtues adalah konstruksi terkuat di antara empat anchor, diikuti oleh materi, self, dan others.

Abstract

Spiritualitas di tempat kerja menjadi isu yang tengah berkembang pesat dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Pengaruh spiritualitas di dalam bekerja menjadi fokus penelitian untuk mencari tahu seberapa penting nilai-nilai spiritual mampu memberikan pengaruh terhadap kinerja individu dan perusahaan. Meskipun masih dalam jumlah terbatas, di Indonesia khususnya Yogyakarta, terdapat beberapa perusahaan yang telah merintis penerapan spiritualitas Islam di tempat kerja dan menjadikan nilai spiritualitas sebagai salah satu kekhasan perusahaan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana nilai spiritualitas Islam diimplementasikan dalam sebuah perusahaan. Responden berjumlah 7 orang yang merupakan karyawan dari beragam level jabatan yang telah bekerja selama lebih dari 5 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Wawancara, observasi, serta studi dokumen digunakan sebagai metode dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ilmu, keteladanan dan doa menjadi 3 pinsip utama dalam strategi implementasi nilai-nilai spiritualitas Islam di Andromeda.

Abstract

Inovasi menjadi salah satu faktor penting bagi setiap organisasi untuk menjaga keberlanjutan dan performa kinerja, termasuk organisasi di instansi pemerintah. Berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk meningkatkan inovasi di instansi pemerintah, tetapi banyak yang masih berfokus pada level organisasi dan kelompok. Padahal kunci penting dalam keberhasilan inovasi organisasi ada di inovasi individu atau disebut dengan perilaku kerja inovatif. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dinamika peran anchor virtue sebagai prediktor, Leader Member Exchange (LMX) dan iklim kreatif sebagai mediator terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif para pegawai di instansi pemerintah. Uji hipotesis penelitian ini dilakukan dengan analisis mediasi dan analisis jalur. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah aparatur sipil negara dengan jumlah (N = 201) dan rata-rata usia 32-38 tahun. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala self-reported tentang perilaku kerja inovatif, anchor virtues, LMX, iklim kreatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa  anchor virtues, LMX, dan iklim kreatif memiliki dampak terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklim kreatif dapat menjadi mediator penuh pada hubungan antara anchor virtues dengan LMX dan menjadi mediator parsial pada hubungan anchor virtues dengan perilaku kerja inovatif. Selain itu, LMX dapat menjadi mediator parsial bagi hubungan antara iklim kreatif dengan perilaku kerja inovatif.

Abstract

This article aims to literature review regarding spiritual care in Islamic culture perspective. Systematic review is done to support knowledge regarding spiritual care. Literature studies from 2007 to 2017 are identified narratively and reviewed critically in Islamic cultural perspectives. The method for literature analysis is using eight steps from Walker and Avant. The findings of this review stated that spiritual care is a dynamic activity to integrate physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects. Spiritual care takes the form of spiritual service that is done dynamically and integratively based on divine and human values especially Islamic cultural values. The main services include caring for the sick, identifying spiritual needs, and increasing spiritual well-being. The implications of the findings are to help building policies in nursing and to help nurses in developing positive attitude in applying spiritual care. The conclusion of this literature review produces a comprehensive definition regarding spiritual care and supports spiritual care competency in health in Islamic cultural perspective.

Abstract

The book discussed in this article is titled Motivasi dan Kepribadian: Perspektif Islam tentang Dinamika Jiwa dan Perilaku Manusia. This book was written by Dr. Bagus Riyono, M.A., a psychologist and lecturer in the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Gadjah Mada and is currently president of the International Association of Muslim Psychologists (IAMP). This book is 284 pages long and consists of several chapters, all of which deconstructing pre-existing theories of motivation, as well as constructing pioneering theories of motivation using various research approaches, including qualitative approach using “meta-ethnographically-grounded-theory” and quantitative approach using experimental method (Riyono, 2020. p. 89). All this was done so that the researcher could achieve comprehensive research results.

Abstract

A quarter-life crisis during emerging adulthood is triggered by various worries in the future regarding careers, romantic, and social relationships. This study aims to test the role of anchor personality dimensions in predicting a quarter-life crisis in emerging adulthood. The participants of this study were 279 people in the 18-25 year age group. This study was conducted with the quantitative approach using a survey method through social media. The instruments used were the Quarter Life Crisis Scale and Anchor Personality Inventory. The results of the analysis using the multiple linear regression method showed that anchor virtues have a significant negative relationship in predicting quarter-life crises. However, anchor materials and others show a significant positive relationship in predicting the quarter-life crisis. The implications of this research empirically show the importance of emerging adulthood to be oriented towards virtues to prevent quarter-life crisis and achieve optimal psychological functioning.
