Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang pelatihan bagi siswa kelas XII untuk merencanakan karir dimasa depan. Jumlah peserta dari kegiatan ini sebanyak 28 siswa sekolah menengah atas, dimana kegiatan ini sebagai upaya agar siswa kelas XII yang akan melanjutkan kejenjang yang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi tidak salah memilih jurusan dan membangun karir. Student Career Planning merupakan salah satu program yang bertujuan untuk mengajak siswa mengenali potensi dirinya lebih dalam dan mengetahui bidang peminatan siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kota Samarinda Kalimantan Timur yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan kerja di masa yang akan datang. Guna mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan prepelatihan yang didalamnya terdapat beberapa kegiatan seperti pretest, pemberian materi, serta pengukuran bidang peminatan menggunakan tes psikologis dan post test. Hasilnya, para peserta lebih memahami potensi dan minat diri yang dimiliki sehingga dapat menentukan jurusan perkuliahan yang sesuai dengan dirinya. Kegiatan pelatihan ini juga meningkatkan pemahaman para peserta untuk memilih jurusan-jurusan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja.

Abstract

Human resource management is based on a concept that every employee is a human being, not a machine, and not merely a business resource. Human resources have a major role in every organization's activities, even though it is supported by facilities and infrastructures as well as excessive resources, but without the support of reliable human resources, the organization's activities will not be resolved properly. Human resource management has been widely practiced in everyday life, in reality management practices are not always easy and successful to influence people to work more productively. Globalization is increasingly inevitable and must be followed increasingly aware of Human Resources to pay more attention to national cultural factors, national culture and organizational culture. The purpose of this study is to examine the Influence of Human Resource Management Practices on Organizational Culture in the Regional Development Planning Board of East Kalimantan Province. Data is taken from a questionnaire distributed to 118 employees. The analysis technique used is Spss Multiple Linear Regression Analysis 22. The results of the analysis show that the practice of human resource management has a positive influence on organizational culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find the relationship between the effectiveness of interpersonal communication, working age and job tenure with organizational commitment. The method used in this study was a quantitative method using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The data analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis which was processed by a data analysis program called Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Participants in this study were employees at PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur with several predetermined criteria such as; regular employees and employees whose last education was high school or equivalent. The results of this study found that the effectiveness of interpersonal communication, working age and job tenure were able to predict employees’ organizational commitment. Other results were the effectiveness variables of interpersonal communication was the most influential variable on increasing organizational commitment and then followed by variables of working age and job tenure. The results of this study are expected to be one of the strategies that can be used by companies to increase organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to find out more about the perceptions of sports students in the application of the Massive Online Open Course (MOOCs) based on Open Learning in learning. This research method is a qualitative descriptive study. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the provisions that semester one and semester three students were registered as active students using the Open Learning platform at Universitas Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan and Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur with a total of 84 people. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire distributed online via Google Form. Furthermore, the data obtained will be analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis using percentage descriptive statistics. The results showed that students 'perceptions on the implementation aspects of teaching and learning were in the excellent category with a score of 308, the competence aspects of the lecturers were in the excellent class with a score of 317, and the infrastructure aspects were in the medium category with a score of 303. From these three aspects, it can be said that students' perceptions in application Open Learning are in the excellent category with a score of 309. In conclusion, the implementation of teaching and learning and the competence of lecturers in implementing Open Learning based on student perspectives runs well.

Abstract

The final landfill is always identified with dirty, smelly and far from healthy lifestyles, things like that that ultimately do not encourage people to stay close to the landfill site. But in fact, there are many residents near the landfill. Although the distance living close to the mountains of waste, people feel happy life. People living close to the waste dump have lived for more than 10 years and have chosen to settle in the area. Therefore, happiness does not have to be in a beautiful and clean environment. This study aims to obtain information about the dynamics of happiness felt by residents living in landfills used in this study is a qualitative method with phenomenology approach. Data collection tools used are interviews and observation. The research analysis is used by using open encoding, axial coding and selective coding. Based on the results of the study it was found that people living near TPA feel happy because people there help each other despite the limitations of both housing and food. In addition, the public is happy because the workplace is close to where to live and there is no pressure in working. Keywords: Happiness, Final disposal, Trash, Community

Abstract

Employees intending to resign are commonly due to material matters, such as lack of salary or incentives. Evidently, moral matters, e.g., supervisor support, implies to affect the turnover intention in an organization. Studies pertaining the effect of these two variables to intention to resign report mixed result. For example, several studies report direct and significant effect of these two variables to intention to resign, while otherstudies report the contrary. This study aimed to investigate the direct influence of perceived supervisor support on employee turnover intention through a meta-analysis method. There are 17 articles and 20 studies, ranging from 2007 to 2019 being analysed, of which 60% were published in accredited international journals, and the remaining 40% were published in international journals. Aggregate number of respondents of the studies amounted to 10,079 people from all industrial sectors, such as manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality industry, education, and social services in several countries, such as the Philippines, China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Norway, and the United States. This study employed data from the standardized beta coefficient using an open-source program data analysis application of Mplus. The study results found that perceived supervisor support did not directly affect employee turnover intention. The study can be used as a reference for similar studies to compare other interrelated variables.

Abstract

The book discussed in this article is titled Motivasi dan Kepribadian: Perspektif Islam tentang Dinamika Jiwa dan Perilaku Manusia. This book was written by Dr. Bagus Riyono, M.A., a psychologist and lecturer in the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Gadjah Mada and is currently president of the International Association of Muslim Psychologists (IAMP). This book is 284 pages long and consists of several chapters, all of which deconstructing pre-existing theories of motivation, as well as constructing pioneering theories of motivation using various research approaches, including qualitative approach using “meta-ethnographically-grounded-theory” and quantitative approach using experimental method (Riyono, 2020. p. 89). All this was done so that the researcher could achieve comprehensive research results.

Abstract

Pecandu narkoba sering mengalami kesulitan dalam menetapkan tujuan hidup, yang mengakibatkan ketidakstabilan emosional dan psikologis karena sulitnya menemukan arah yang jelas. Dampak negatif dari penyalahgunaan narkoba sangat mempengaruhi tingkat kebahagiaan individu, dengan depresi, kecemasan, dan kesedihan menjadi masalah umum yang dihadapi oleh pecandu narkoba, yang memperburuk kondisi psikologis mereka. Dalam upaya menangani masalah ini, rehabilitasi telah terbukti sebagai salah satu pendekatan utama yang efektif. Setelah melalui proses rehabilitasi, penting untuk memahami bagaimana perubahan tujuan hidup dan tingkat kebahagiaan individu pecandu narkoba, baik sebelum dan setelah rehabilitasi. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengalaman perbandingan kondisi pecandu narkoba sebelum dan setelah rehabilitasi, termasuk evaluasi terhadap perubahan dalam tujuan hidup, orientasi hidup, dan tingkat kebahagiaan mereka. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data melibatkan observasi dan wawancara mendalam dengan individu yang telah menjalani rehabilitasi narkoba, dengan tujuan menyelidiki dampak rehabilitasi terhadap perubahan dalam tujuan hidup dan kebahagiaan mereka. Ditemukan hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengalaman dalam memaknai tujuan dan kebahagian pra dan pasca rehabilitasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat faktor penentu dalam pengguna narkoba, pentingnya dukungan kerabat dan berupaya untuk melakukan perubahan dimasa yang akan datang.
