Abstract

Perkembangan strata posyandu yang lambat dapat menjadi penghambat penyelenggaraan pembangunan kesehatan. Masih sedikitnya jumlah posyandu mandiri saat ini menunjukkan belum optimalnya kinerja posyandu. Strata posyandu mandiri di Indonesia (tahun 2004) yakni hanya sekitar 2,91%. Hal ini tampak di Desa Sidabowa, posyandu mandiri hanya sekitar 9,09% (1 dari 11 posyandu). Salah satu faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi kondisi tersebut adalah peran kader kesehatan. Kader kesehatan sebagai pendamping masyarakat harus memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh pelatihan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan kader mengenai strata posyandu dan tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experiment design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kader kesehatan yang mengikuti pelatihan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pendidikan melalui pelatihan efektif dalam peningkatan pengetahuan kader (p<0,05). Kata kunci: Kader, TOGA, posyandu, sidabowa

Abstract

Based on data from World Health Organization(WHO) diabetes mellitus was the direct cause of death of1.5 million people, more than 80% of deaths due todiabetes occurs in middle-income countries and low(WHO, 2014). According to the Basic Health Research(Riskesdas) in 2013, the incidence of diabetes mellitus inIndonesia increased by two times greater than in 2007.Annona muricata L is used as a traditionalmedicine to lower blood glucose levels with containtannin, phytosterols, calcium oxalate, alkaloids murisin(Arief and Hariana, 2006), flavonoids and essential oils(Surbakti, 1994). Flavonoid compounds have animportant role in the prevention of diabetes and itscomplications (Jack, 2012). Previous research showedthat bark of plants soursop has a most excellent efficacycompared with the roots and leaves of the Annonamuricata L in lowering blood glucose levels in male ratsinduced streptozozin (Rahmawati, 2014).This study aimed to examine the effect ofethanolic extract of Annona muricata L. seeds powder ondecreasing blood glucose level in wistar strain male ratwith glucose loading.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolicdiseases characterized by hyperglycemia. It occursbecause abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulinaction, or both (Gustaviani, 2006). Diabetestreatment is generally done through regular insulininjections and delivery of oral antidiabetic drug suchas sulfonylurea class, biguanide, thiazolidinedion andmeglitinida which have some side effects likeheadache, dizziness, nausea, anorexia andpermanent organ damage. More over, they are alsoexpensive. People start taking treatment intraditional way natural materials, such as antlion(Myrmeleon sp.,) to lower blood glucose level (Lee etal., 2007).Previous research showed that the young antlionmethanolic extract of had the highest inhibitoryactivity toward α-glucosidase enzyme, was 22.81%(Faiz, 2008). Giving combination of Antlion andbananas for 14 days could decrease blood glucoselevels at a dose of 0,01ml / 200g (Tyas 2006).This study has examined the antidiabetic effects ofthe powder and ethanolic extract of antlion(Myrmeleon sp.) on blood glucose level of Wistarmale rats were burdened by glucose.

Abstract

Moringa leaf (Moringa oleifera) was one of plants that containt phenol compounds such as alkaloid, tannin, saponin and flavonoid that were useful as a antioxidant and anti aging. The aim of this research was to prove antioxidant and anti aging’s activity of Moringa leaf. The extraction process of Moringa leaf using Maseration method with ethanol solvent 70 % ratio 1:10, then the antioxidant properties determinate using beta carotene bleaching (BCB) and anti aging’s activity test was done, after that formulated the body butter with activeingredient of Moringa leaf extract 0,5 %. Moringa extract contains total phenolic 10,45 mg GAE/g extract and 5,53 % of total flavonoid. The result showed that Moringa leaf extract had inhibition of beta carotene bleaching properties as shown by BCB results. Moringa leaf extract inhibit the collagenase activity until 47,25 % at concentration of 1600 ppm. Moringa leaf extract body butter has high potency of antiaging through antioxidant and collagenase inhibitor mechanism. Moringa body butter had good organoleptic properties. However the physical properties of moringa body butter should be optimozed its composition to get the better one.

Abstract

Mie instan impor yang beredar terkadang tidak mencantumkan label halal. Identifikasi bahan tidak halal khususnya babi penting dilakukan untuk membantu masyarakat memperoleh produk halal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi minyak babi dalam minyak bumbu mie instan impor menggunakan metode spektrofotometri Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) yang dikombinasikan dengan kemometrik Principal Component Analysis (PCA) dan Partial Least Square (PLS). Sampel kalibrasi dibuat dengan variasi minyak babi dan minyak nabati. Masing-masing sampel kalibrasi dibuat spektrum FTIR pada bilangan gelombang 4000 – 650 cm-1. Spektrum FTIR yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya 2 pita serapan khas minyak babi, yaitu pada 1226,73 dan 1111 cm-1. Analisis PCA menghasilkan score plot yang menunjukkan terpisahnya minyak babi dan minyak kedelai di kuadran yang berbeda. Analisis PLS menghasilkan persamaan Y = 0,9921x + 0,3963 dengan nilai R2 0,992103 ; nilai RMSEP 0,0072 dan nilai RMSEC 2,1998. Hasil penentuan Limit of Detection (LOD) menunjukkan bahwa metode FTIR mampu mendeteksi minyak babi dalam sampel kalibrasi pada konsentrasi 1%. Hasil analisis terhadap sampel minyak bumbu pada lima merek sampel mie instan impor menunjukkan tidak ada sampel yang terdeteksi adanya minyak babi.
