Abstract

Penyakit Corona Virus 2019 (COVID-19) tidak hanya menimbulkan gejala pada sistem respirasi; tetapi juga dapat manifestasi pada kulit seperti ruam makulopapular, urtikaria, vesikular, covid toes, livedo racemosa, dan alopesia androgenetik. Manifestasi kulit tersebut diharapkan dapat membantu klinisi untuk mendiagnosis dini COVID-19.Corona Virus 2019 (COVID-19) is not only affected respiratory system; it can also have cutaneous manifestation such as maculopapular rash, urticaria, vesikular, covid toes, livedo racemosa, and androgenetic alopecia. These cutaneous manifestations can help clinicians to make early diagnosis of COVID-19.

Abstract

Moringa leaf (Moringa oleifera) was one of plants that containt phenol compounds such as alkaloid, tannin, saponin and flavonoid that were useful as a antioxidant and anti aging. The aim of this research was to prove antioxidant and anti aging’s activity of Moringa leaf. The extraction process of Moringa leaf using Maseration method with ethanol solvent 70 % ratio 1:10, then the antioxidant properties determinate using beta carotene bleaching (BCB) and anti aging’s activity test was done, after that formulated the body butter with activeingredient of Moringa leaf extract 0,5 %. Moringa extract contains total phenolic 10,45 mg GAE/g extract and 5,53 % of total flavonoid. The result showed that Moringa leaf extract had inhibition of beta carotene bleaching properties as shown by BCB results. Moringa leaf extract inhibit the collagenase activity until 47,25 % at concentration of 1600 ppm. Moringa leaf extract body butter has high potency of antiaging through antioxidant and collagenase inhibitor mechanism. Moringa body butter had good organoleptic properties. However the physical properties of moringa body butter should be optimozed its composition to get the better one.

Abstract

Hidrogenasi merupakan reaksi hidrogen dengan senyawa organik, reaksi ini terjadi dengan penambahan hidrogen secara langsung pada ikatan rangkap. Senyawa yang bisa dihidrogenasi adalah senyawa yang kurang jenuh yaitu golongan alkena dan alkuna. Reaksi ini termasuk reaksi eksotermik yaitu reaksi yang membebaskan panas. Panas yang dilepaskan tersebut dikenal dengan panas hidrogenasi atau energi hidrogenasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan tingkat kemudahan senyawa hidrokarbon golongan alkena dan alkuna ketika dilakukan hidrogenasi, yang dilihat dari nilai panas hidrogenasinya. Studi komputasi ini menggunakan pendekatan teori DFT, fungsional B3LYP, dan basis set 3-21G. Dari hasil pengukuran menunjukan bahwa, pada hidrogenasi alkena rantai lurus, panas hidrogenasi tidak ditentukan secara signifikan oleh panjang rantai tetapi oleh posisi ikatan rangkap sedangkan pada rantai bercabang, adanya penambahan cabang pada senyawa alkena akan menyebabkan panas hidrogenasi yang dilepaskan semakin kecil sehingga secara termodinamis semakin sulit berlangsung. Hal ini disebabkan kemungkinan adanya efek sterik (rintangan oleh gugus/cabang) yang terjadi pada rantai bercabang. Pada alkuna, panjang rantai tidak berpengaruh pada tingkat mudah atau tidaknya hidrogenasi berlangsung secara termodinamis.

Abstract

BACKGROUND: Lucio’s phenomenon is a rare leprosy reaction, characterized by severe necrotic cutaneous lesions that generally occur in patients with untreated or inadequately treated lepromatous leprosy (LL). OBJECTIVE: to describe and comprehend the diagnosis and management of Lucio’s phenomenon in leprosy patients CASE: Male, 34 years old with extensive wounds on both arms and legs. About 3 years earlier, the patient felt burning heat in both hands and feet followed by loss of eyebrows and eyelashes, and a change in the shape of the nose. The patient had not received previous therapy. Physical examination showed that the patient appeared anaemic, leonine facies, megalobuli, madarosis, saddle nose, thickening of the ulnar and posterior tibial nerves, deformities of the fingers and toes, and amputations of several fingers. The dermatological status showed multiple ulcers of irregular shape and varying sizes with pus and necrotic tissue. Reitz serum test revealed a bacterial index of +3 with a morphological index of 90%, and routine blood showed hypochromic microcytic anaemia and leucocytosis. The patient received corticosteroid therapy, anti-leprosy combination therapy, antibiotics, iron tablets and wound care. DISCUSSION: Lucio’s phenomenon consists of skin lesions that range from painful red-black patches to flaky blisters and ulcerations. These lesions usually occur on the lower extremities, and may extend proximally and distally. The lesions improved after administration of corticosteroids and anti-leprosy. Delayed diagnosis leads to significant disability and community transmission of the disease. The later the diagnosis, the more serious the disease becomes and can lead to death due to sepsis. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment are important. CONCLUSION: Early detection is crucial in order to deliver therapy earlier and prevent disease worsening.

Abstract

Penyebab tingginya jumlah anak yang mengalami stunting di Indonesia adalah pernikahan dini dan anemia akibat rendahnya konsumsi tablet tambah darah (TTD). Remaja putri merupakan calon ibu masa depan yang sangat penting untuk memutus siklus stunting dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku kesehatan mereka sejak dini. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja putri tentang pencegahan stunting dengan mengedukasi mereka tentang bahaya pernikahan dini dan pentingnya konsumsi TTD secara rutin. Kegiatan ini berlangsung di SMKS Ar Rizqi Bina Insani Cijuhung, Tasikmalaya, dan diikuti oleh 26 peserta. Intervensi dilakukan melalui presentasi edukatif berbasis media leaflet yang membahas risiko pernikahan dini, dan manfaat TTD. Evaluasi pengetahuan dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test, dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan setelah intervensi (p<0,05), dengan 92,3% responden berada pada kategori baik. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa edukasi berbasis leaflet yang dikombinasikan dengan pemberian TTD efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja putri untuk mencegah stunting.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to develop e-learning media based on Moodle for atomic structure material, as well as to determine the feasibility of the media and the teacher's response to it. With the ADDIE method derived from Dick and Carrey, this study is included in Research and Development (R&D). Media experts, materials experts, and chemistry teachers are among the study's subjects. Expert validation questionnaires and teacher response questionnaires. The study's findings were that e-learning media based on moodle on atomic structure material had a media feasibility score of 92.8 percent with very feasible criteria and a material feasibility score of 91.7 percent with very feasible criteria. The responses chemistry teachers from Langsa Senior High School yielded an average of 87 percent with very interesting criteria.
