Abstract

Carp ( Osphronemus gouramy . LAC . ) Is one type of fish consumption with high economic value , the constraints faced by the farmers , to address the availability of fish seed this , it would require an effort in producing large quantities of seed . Starting from these two , required a study of the density of seed in a hatchery media , in order to know how big an influence on the response of the density of egg hatchability of carp eggs . This study uses Aquarium size 50 x 60 x 30 cm 16 units , respectively - each aquarium filled with different carp eggs is A. 4 eggs / liter of water , B. 8 eggs / liter of water , C. 12 grains / liter of water , and D. 16 eggs / liter water tank with water level at 20 cm . The design used was CRD ( completely randomized design ) . Results of research conducted is obtained as follows ; densities of carp eggs in a medium will significantly affect hatchability and mortality of eggs and larvae of carp , which is a good density on treatment A ( 4 points / liter of water ) followed by treatment B ( 8 points / liter of water ) and treatment C ( 12 grains / liter ) and the last one is in treatment D ( 16 grains / liter ) in the treatment D where there are many eggs are dead / not hatch . Thus untu carp hatcheries should use a density of 4 eggs / liter of water .Keyword :  density, carp eggs, egg hatchability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the success of hatchery fish, gurami (O. gouramy Lac), which maintained controlled by the temperature difference, so that can know the optimal temperature for hatching eggs. This research was conducted at Fish Seed (BBI) Sungai Alai, Muara Tebo Jambi.Egg samples used in this study were egg gourami (O. gouramy Lac) obtained from the mass spawning of carp Batanghari parent as much as 1440 eggs by stocking the 120 eggs / container. The container used in the study is an aquarium measuring 60 x 40 x 30 cm 12 units, which filled with water of 20 liter / container and each is equipped with aerator and the water heater thermostat. The design used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 (four) maintenance medium temperature treatment of 260C, 280C, 300C and 320C, each with 3 (three) replicates. Observations are made to the success of hatchery fish gourami (O. gouramy Lac) and water quality parameters: temperature, pH and turbidity. A good temperature for hatching eggs are 300C and 320C in which the degree of hatching eggs amounted to 98.05% and 94.72%. Water quality parameters during the study support of fish life.Keyword :  The temperature difference, Fish Eggs Hatching

Abstract

Fish Tambakan (H. temmincki. CV) is one of the freshwater fish species from the tropics, precisely Southeast Asia. Currently the presence of fish gouramis (H. temmincki. CV) already scarce, and threatened that should be preserved. One effort that can be done to preserve this fish is through cultivation, Density is closely related to the production and the expected growth rate of fish. Activities carried out for 5 months, in hectery Fish Seed Center (BBI) Tempino, District Mestong, Kabupten Muaro. Test fish are fish larvae Tambakan (H. temmincki. CV) of 71 400 individuals. The container used is aquarium measuring 42.5 x 40 x 40 cm, with a height of 10 cm of water as much as 12 aquariums. This research is a design environment completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 Deuteronomy. The results of this study to the best stocking density is treatment A (200 individuals / liter) which resulted in the percentage of survival of the highest of 86.21%., Average length and weight growth - average yield growth of average length - average 1.50 cm / tail and average weight - average 0159 g / tail and average daily growth - average 0.00396 grams / tail. Keywords: Kissing gourami (Hellostoma temmincki. Abstract

Siamese catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) is one of the leading freshwater fish introductions from Thailand's rapid development of aquaculture in Indonesia. Improved catfish aquaculture Siamese is characterized by the increasing number of areas such as aquaculture ponds and cages, and the demand for seed production. Based on the reports of farmers and monitoring BBAT Jambi on pangasius farming areas in Jambi are decreasing trend Siamese catfish seed quality, ie seeds with slow growth leading to low quality of seeds produced. To reduce this required moms potential of regional development in Indonesia Siamese catfish that will be used as the basis to produce the parent stem excel. Therefore necessary to test the performance of siamese catfish growth of some populations in Indonesia as a first step to get potential moms in Indonesia. Research conducted at the Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture Jambi during January-March 2011. Test performance against population growth Siamese catfish seed from 7 regions in Indonesia, Jambi, Riau, Lampung, Subang, Bogor, Bekasi and South Kalimantan. Hapa enlargement minimum size 3x2x1, 5 m3 rearing ponds installed in the size of 600 m2 with a water depth of 2 meters. Experimental design is CRD (completely randomized design) with the treatment of fish populations and three replications. Parameters observed were specific daily growth (SGR), survival (survival rate), feed conversion ratio (FCR), water quality, and the level of abnormality. The results showed that the test can peformance growth best in four populations: a population of Lampung, Subang, Riau and South Kalimantan. Keywords: Pangasianodon hypophthalmus, growth, survival, feed conversion
