<![CDATA[Abstrak: Judul Penelitian ini adalah: Peningkatan Minat Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial m enggunakan metode diskusi kelompok kelas V SDN 10 Balai. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan Peningkatan Minat Pembelajaran IPS menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 orang siswa kelas V SDN 10 Balai yang mengalami penuruan minat pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis data menunjukan bahwa setelah diberikan tindakan dengan menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok mengalami peningkatan minat dan peningkatan hasil belajar ( dilihat dari penilaian proses dan hasil evaluasi akhir) penilaian proses tampak siswa lebih teliti,lebih cermat, lebih percaya diri dan punya keberanian serta mau berkerjasama dalam kelompok.Hal ini terlihat dari nilai yang diperoleh siswa pada KKM 60 meningkat menjadi 79 pada siklus 2, meningkat lagi menjadi 85 pada siklus 3. Kata Kunci : Minat Belajar, Metode Diskusi Abstract: Title of research is to improve the intriguing of learning of social scholarship by using group discussion in the fifth class of tenth of primary of school students in Balai. The purpose of this research is to improve the intriguing of social scholarship by using group discussion. The method of research is research is 28 students in the fifth clss of primary of shool students that students did not interest to study of social scholarship. Base on data analysis, the result of this research show that after the write gave the lesson by using group discussion, students could increase motivation and scros ( base on the process and the result of final evaluation). Students become more accurately, confident, brave, and cooperative in group. It could be seen from the result of students scores. Base on KKM, students must got scores to pass the study is 60 in the second cycle, students got high score become 79 and in third cycle student got learning of social scholarship by using group discussion could in crease the students in triguing of learning of social scholarship.
