Abstract

One form of implementation of the mandate of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 1 of 2011 concerning Housing and Settlement Areas is explicitly stated in the Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 2 of 2015 concerning the National Medium Term Development Plan for 2015-2019 and implemented in the form of Kep. Director of DJCK No. 110/KPTS/DC/2016 concerning Determination of City Locations Without Slums. The decision of the Directorate General of Human Settlements became the basis for determining the location of the area that was determined to receive a program to improve the quality of slums, one of which was the NUSP-2 program. NUSP-2 as one of the slum settlement programs needs to be evaluated as a form of assessing the results of the programs that have been implemented. The evaluation carried out focused on the impact side with the scope of Physical and Non-Physical (Social and Economic) impacts and sustainability with the scope of economic, social/community and environmental sustainability, where the impact evaluation resulted in a value of 0.692 or was in the moderately impactful class, while the sustainability evaluation was at a value of 0.692. 0.43 or is in the less sustainable class. However, what is of concern is that based on the results of the analysis carried out, the side that has a large influence on the evaluation value is the side that is in direct contact with the NUSP-2 program, with examples for evaluation of physical impacts having a greater influence than non-physical and social sustainability having the greatest influence compared to sustainability environment and economy.

Abstract

The problem of uninhabitable houses must get more special handling in order to create a prosperous community life. The Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance Program (BSPS) is a government program in providing facilities for low-income households to have decent housing. The provision of services can affect the level of satisfaction of the receiving community, because the level of community satisfaction can measure the success of a service or product provided by the government. (Case Study: Jati Agung District, South Lampung Regency) with the aim of knowing the level of community satisfaction with the quality of services provided in the BSPS program. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative in the form of interviews and documentation in this study using three RLH criteria, namely building safety, adequacy of space or minimum area, and health. The results of the study show that there is a conformity between the RLH criteria that have been built with the BSPS program criteria so that there is satisfaction felt by the community because the suitability is in accordance with what is expected and also because of the good service to create houses with livable conditions and improve people's lives towards a more good.

Abstract

The Urban Heat Island phenomenon is defined as a form of local climate change. In the formation of the Urban Heat Island phenomenon, there are several factors, namely changes in land use, vegetation density, building density, and vehicle emissions. Dense development areas that have caused changes in land use, settlements, and transportation activities have begun to accumulate in Kedaton District. Kedaton District is included in the activity center area so that changes in land use from 2017 to 2022 occur significantly, which can cause an increase in urban temperatures. This study aims to analyze the impact of changes in urban land use on Urban Heat Island in Kedaton District. The variables used are land use, surface temperature, vegetation density, building density, motor vehicle intensity, and motor vehicle emissions. The analytical methods used are LST, NDVI, NDBI, road service level analysis, vehicle emission analysis, and correlation analysis. The results of the analysis show that the impact of changes in land use will result in a 76% decrease in vegetation density in 2022, a 95% increase in building density, and a 99% increase in vehicle emissions. The impact of changes in land use has contributed to the distribution of urban heat islands in Kedaton District. To minimize the impact of changes in use on the Urban Heat Island in Kedaton District, mitigation efforts based on the resilient city concept are needed, namely the addition of private green open spaces, reflective roof paint in densely populated areas, and optimizing public transportation.

Abstract

Green open space is very important in realizing a green and sustainable city. This study investigates visitor comfort at Dipangga Park, Bandar Lampung, a green open space with historical tourism potential related to the Mount Krakatau eruption. Despite its significance, the park faces issues such as poorly maintained facilities and poor accessibility, contributing to a declining visitor experience. Using a mixed-methods approach with descriptive statistical analysis and a likert scale. Based on the research results, the comfort level of visitors to Dipangga Park based on visitor perceptions is included in the Uncomfortable category. This shows the level of comfort according to visitors' assessment of conditions that are not good and require improvement and maintenance of the park and facilities to enhance safety, social interaction, and overall visitor satisfaction, contributing to a livable city.
