Abstract

: Learning is a planned activity carried out in order to improve the knowledge and understanding of students, this study aims to find out what efforts can be made to improve Islamic learning outcomes (PAI) using the word square method at SDN 117/III Koto Datuak District Air Warm Kerinci, This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve PAI learning outcomes in the classroom. The research subjects were third grade students, who had the lowest learning outcomes. The research was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle uses a Kemmis and Taggart research model or design which consists of four components, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data collection technique used the learning outcomes test technique, where there were two learning outcomes tests, namely pretest and posttest. The test in this study used a formative test in the form of an objective test, the test questions were realized in the form of multiple choice. The data analysis technique is by comparing the average (mean) results of the learning test before and after the action is taken. The results showed that the word square method could improve PAI learning outcomes with indicators, there was an increase in the average PAI learning outcomes from the pretest results of 70.06 increased to 73.91 in the first cycle, increased again to 76.79 in the second cycle and increased again to 78.94 in cycle III. The achievement of KKM physically also increased from the pre-cycle of 36.36% to 60.61% in the first cycle, increased again to 72.73% in the second cycle and increased again to 81.82% in the third cycle. This means that there has been a significant increase in results in cycle III, so the word square method can be standardized into a model to improve PAI learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning Outcomes of Islam, Mandatory Traits for Allah, Word Square Model.

Abstract

Majelis taklim is a form of informal religious education that develops in society. This study aims to reveal the role of majelis taklim Nagari Desa Baru kecamatan  Ranah Batahan Pasaman Barat in increasing knowledge and understanding. the practice and religiosity of the people towards Islamic teachings. The results of the study show that the majelis taklim plays an active role in increasing people's religiosity towards Islam. The role of the majelis taklim is realized in the form of: majelis taklim as a place to study religion; majelis taklim as a place to strengthen ukhuwah Islamiyah; majelis taklim as reinforcement of aqidah and morals; the majelis taklim as a means of tahsin reading the Koran and the majelis taklim as a place for correcting the implementation of worship. The implications of this study are expected for the supervisors, administrators, members of the majelis taklim in particular and the general public in order to maintain and enhance the role of the majelis taklim in the community as a means of increasing people's religiosity towards Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan guna menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa di STIA YPPN Padang. Model PBL dipilih karena pendekatannya yang menekankan pada pemecahan masalah nyata, sehingga bisa mengembangkan keterampilan kolaboratif, berpikir kritis, serta analitis. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen menggunakan rancangan pretest-posttest control group, melibatkan 60 mahasiswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok secara acak, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan PBL dan kelompok kontrol dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman, observasi selama pembelajaran untuk melihat pelaksanaan PBL, dan kuesioner untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap model tersebut. Teknik analisis data secara kuantitatif menggunakan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol, dengan skor posttest yang signifikan. Hasil observasi menunjukkan jika mahasiswa kelompok eksperimen lebih aktif dalam diskusi kelompok dan lebih terlibat dalam pemecahan masalah dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Kuesioner juga mengungkapkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa kelompok eksperimen merasa lebih termotivasi dan terlibat dalam pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa di STIA YPPN Padang, terutama dalam aspek pemahaman materi, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah.
