Abstract

The community service activity is conducted in the form of a counseling about the use of GeoGebra-aided modul in integral application learning. This activity aims to add knowledge about the use of GeoGebra-aided modul in mathematics learning especially integral application learning to mathematics teachers. The implementation method consists of four stages namely preparation, action, evaluation and report. This one day activity were attended by 26 mathematics teachers from elementary school, junior and senior high school and vocational school in Balikpapan at the 7th Floor G Building of Balikpapan University. The presented material consists of the use of GeoGebra-aided modul in integral application topic namely area of plane regions and volume of solids of revolution. This community service activity run well and smoothly and in accordance with the planning. Based on the carried activities, it is expected for mathematics teachers to create learning modules that appropriate with their students’ conditions in the class and integrate various multimedia to support their mathematics learning process.

Abstract

One of the subjects that requires planting concepts from an early age is mathematics. At school age, especially grade 3 students, the student's age has reached 9 to 10 years. Students at that age, among others, are happy with activity exercises and are happy with activities in the form of competitions. Based on this, learning should be packaged in the form of activities. At the elementary level, one of the materials that is the problem for students is multiplication and division. This material is basic in mathematics but it is often found that there are junior high school students who do not know the results of multiplication under 10. Jarimatika is a method for teaching addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to students, especially at the elementary level. Jarimatika is an abbreviation of finger and arithmetic. As the name implies, the media in this method are the fingers. Based on this community service activity, it can be concluded that the students are enthusiastic and happy with the teaching of multiplication and division with Jarimatika. In addition, students are motivated to answer questions from the teacher.

Abstract

Pancasila is one of the foundations of social life to build humane citizens. The inculcation of Pancasila values ​​needs to be done from an early age so that when he becomes an adult, the national character is attached to him. Socializing the practice of Pancasila to elementary school students is a way that can be taken to instill Pancasila values ​​as the basis of the state. Students as agents of change, guardians of values, successors of the nation, moral strength, and social control need to contribute to the inculcation of Pancasila in students. The purpose of this activity is that students provide an understanding of Pancasila as well as education on the practice of Pancasila in everyday life to students. This activity was carried out by 7 students of the Mathematics Education study program with their respective division of tasks. The target of this activity is the fourth grade elementary school students. Data is collected through observation when students carry out activities in class. The result of this activity is that students listen well to the presentation of the material because they are interested in information on the form of Pancasila practice. In addition, students are enthusiastic about participating in activities because external parties or students deliver the material.
