Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan teori belajar Bruner berbantuan Algebraic Experience Material pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bentuk aljabar terhadap hasil belajar siswa di kelas VIII SMP Boedi Oetomo Sungai Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan the one-shot case study. Untuk melihat kekonsistenan hasil belajar maka setelah beberapa waktu (dua minggu) kemudian diberikan delayed-test. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada saat post-test sebesar 82,85% dan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada saat delayed-test sebesar 77,14%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan uji t-test rata-rata satu sampel diperoleh maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata nilai siswa pada saat post-test dan delayed-test. Dengan adanya perbedaan hasil post-test dan delayed-test maka terjadi ketidakkonsistenan antara nilai post-test dan delayed-test. Hal ini berarti penerapan teori belajar Bruner berbantuan Algebraic Experience Material pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bentuk aljabar tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Abstract: This research is aimed to know the influence of the application of Bruner learning theory aided by Algebraic Experience Material on addition and subtraction algebraic form on students learning outcomes of VIII the grade of SMP Boedi Oetomo Sungai Raya. The method is used in this research is an experimental the one shot case study. For looked at the consistency of learning outcomes, so after two week later would be given delayed-test . From the result of the research, completeness of students learning outcomes on post test is 82,85 and completeness of students learning outcomes on delayed test is 77,14. Based on the analysis result by using t test the average one sample is obtained that so, there was a significant difference between average of value post test and delayed test. With differences the results of the post-test and delayed-test then there is inconsistency between the value of the post-test and delayed-test. It is mean that the application of Bruner learning theory aided by Algebraic Experience Material on addition and subtraction algebraic form has no influence of on students learning outcomes.
