Abstract

Abstract

Electronic voting (e-voting) can be an alternative solution to replace the conventional Student presidential election currently used at Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi. By using of information technology in the voting process is supposed to resolve existing problems, such as the voters listed and registration, the complexity of counting the ballots. This research it is propose to carry out the elections of Studentpresidential by utilizing web-based technology. Firstly, E-voting can be access only by student who have student identity card as access right to use the system for log in with username and password then register as voters. Secondly, to vote the candidates, the voters only have once chance to choosing candidates by click on one of picture of candidates on web interface. Overall, after the election period is ends. The data from the database of e-voting system can be immediately obtained by election committee and the data is ready to use as real count of election results without any invalid ballots.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in the Kota Pari Village community is the lack of knowledge related to finance, especially in terms of Financial Literacy and Financial Technology. Financial Literacy is very important in everyday life. The higher the level of financial literacy in each individual, it will encourage an increase in financial performance. Entering the industrial revolution 5.0, many challenges and opportunities are presented. One of them is the existence of innovations in the financial sector, namely Financial Technology (Fintech). Fintech is present with the aim of facilitating services for the community to carry out economic activities more effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Financial Literacy and Fianncial Technology (Fintech) on the business sustainability of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Kota Pari Village. The population in this study were all MSMEs in Kota Pari Village. The success of this implementation is expected to have a positive impact on the economic development and welfare of the Kota Pari Village community.

Abstract

Cyber security is a crucial aspect in maintaining the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of a company's information systems. PT. Industri Karet Deli, as one of the national manufacturing companies that has implemented digital systems in its operations, faces significant challenges in terms of potential cyber threats. This study aims to apply secure coding principles as the basis for strengthening cyber security systems. The methods used include identifying security vulnerabilities in the company's internal applications, evaluating the source code, and implementing secure coding practices in accordance with OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) standards. The research results show that the systematic implementation of secure coding can reduce system vulnerabilities by up to 60% compared to before implementation. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating security from the early stages of software development to create systems that are resilient to cyber attacks. Recommendations from this study include regular training for development teams and the adoption of code review policies as part of the continuous system development process.

Abstract

In the era of 2020 there are many offers to make purchases easily and quickly for generation Z, proper financial management is needed for generation Z today, so as not to be tied to consumerism. This research is the result of financial literacy training from students of SMA Panca Budi Medan, researchers want to know if there are differences in understanding and application of financial literacy after attending this financial literacy training. This financial literacy training is carried out for 2 months and is systemized, where students are assessed for their understanding and application. This study used a non-parametric paired t-test. This research data was taken using questionnaires distributed before and after training. Students were given a financial literacy questionnaire according to Chen and Volpe (1998). The results of this study indicate that after participating in financial literacy training, students' understanding of financial literacy does not experience differences with before training, but on average there is an increase in understanding. In the application of financial literacy there is a difference before and after financial literacy training.

Abstract

The digitization of inventory management in gas stations has become increasingly crucial for improving record accuracy, operational efficiency, and the reliability of device monitoring. However, the identification of inventory devices is still widely performed manually, making the process vulnerable to recording errors, data inconsistencies, and delays in audit activities. This study aims to implement a Deep Learning–based Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm to automatically classify inventory digitization devices in gas stations, including digital sensors, fuel pumps, control panels, electronic dispensers, and monitoring modules. The image dataset of these devices was collected through direct acquisition and further expanded using augmentation techniques to address limited data availability. The CNN method was developed through several key stages, including image preprocessing, automated feature extraction through convolutional layers, and model training using regularization and hyperparameter tuning to achieve optimal performance. The model’s performance was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and a confusion matrix. The results indicate that the CNN model achieved a classification accuracy of XX% (to be updated after experimentation), demonstrating its capability to effectively recognize visual patterns of inventory devices. These findings confirm that deep learning provides a reliable automation solution for gas station inventory digitization processes and contributes to more efficient asset management and data-driven decision-making
