Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a monitoring system of PDAM customer water meter data using ATMEGA 16 microcontroller and to know the accuracy of the system that has been designed. The results of this research will be expected to help the PDAM (local water company) in overcoming the existing problems regarding the recording of water meter data is not accurate. In this research there are 5 sample of meter data which used by method used is demonstration application. In the research of monitoring system of customer water meter data there are 2 forms of testing conducted that is the testing of water flowmeter sensor and data transmission GSM SIM 800. From the test results accuracy of flowmeter water sensor reaches 100% while GSM SIM 800 data transmission only 95%.

Abstract

Perkembangan yang sangat pesat terjadi pada bidang teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi saat ini mendorong masyarakta dunia memasuki era revolusi industri 4.0 yang serba cepat, sekaligus menjadikan informasi sentral dalam dunia industri maupun dunia usaha hingga dunia pendidikan. Akademi Teknik dan Keselamatan Penerbangan (ATKP) Medan merupakan institusi pendidikan di bawah naungan pemerintah yang sudah mulai menggunakan berbagai hal teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi. Dengan adanya perkembangan tersebut berdampak memeberikan fasilitas yang dapat digunakan oleh pengguna layanan komunikasi, dan informasi, seperti Short Message Service (SMS) hingga sistem berbasis aplikasi menggunakan smartphone android maupun iOS. Layanan aplikasi sms hingga sistem aplikasi tersebut adalah teknologi yang memungkinkan manusia untuk mendapatkan atau mengirimkankan informasi kapanpun dan dimanapun dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sistem aplikasi monitoring evaluasi pelaporan kegiatan taruna di ATKP medan berbasis web app. Dalam pembuatannya, aplikasi ini disesuaikan dengan kenutuhan user/orang tua taruna dan institusi ATKP secara umum. Sistem aplikasi ini akan memberikan kemudahan kepada orang tua taruna dalam memonitoring, kegiatan hingga prilaku taruna selama pendidikan di ATKP Medan serta kemudahan mengakses nilai dengan cepat. Sistem aplikasi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman php (web).

Abstract

Aviation business forecasting is one way to find out the next steps that must be taken by aviation business actors as well as steps that the government must take to improve the country's economy, especially from the air transportation sector. before the covid-19 pandemic, the global aviation industry experienced a positive trend, where the volume of global passenger flow in december 2019 increased by 4.9% based on the calculation of revenue passenger kilometers, but since covid-19 began to emerge in early 2020, the movement the global rpk experienced a drastic decline until march 2020, then from april 2020 it experienced an increasing trend again, but lower than in 2019. To be able to provide recommendations for industry players aviation for study material and policy implementation to continue to improve flight performance, especially in Indonesia. MLP is also able to show better performance than the classic arima model. In this study, the mlp model will be used to forecast post-covid-19 flight conditions which will provide research results about the description of the condition of the aviation industry for the future, especially in responding to the challenges of the post-covid-19 aviation industry. to be able to provide recommendations for industry players aviation for study material and policy implementation to continue to improve flight performance, especially in indonesia.

Abstract

Security systems are needed to maintain the safety and comfort of an area as well as on the Medan Aviation Polytechnic campus which requires a security system to protect the campus area. In an effort to maintain security and assist surveillance in the Medan Aviation Polytechnic campus area, an intrusion detection system is designed to monitor areas that are rarely reached by security officers to monitor any suspicious activity. The purpose of this design is to detect unauthorized activities so that it can assist security officers in maintaining security in the Medan Aviation Polytechnic campus environment. Artificial intelligence in this system helps to determine the target detected by the webcam, so that the buzzer will sound if the target detected is human. The results of this study show that this system is able to detect humans and Artificial Intelligence can detect humans so that the buzzer sounds when a human is detected.

Abstract

This research explores the application of a Deep Learning approach by utilizing the Root Mean Square Propagation (RMSprop) algorithm to increase efficiency in flight scheduling. The main focus of the research is on adjusting routes and times to achieve higher operational efficiency in the aviation industry. Aviation is an important aspect of transportation that requires accurate and efficient scheduling to achieve punctuality, operational efficiency and a better passenger experience. This research aims to improve flight scheduling by applying Deep Learning techniques, specifically using the RMSprop algorithm. The research method includes the use of historical flight data to train the model, adjusting routes and times based on the analysis carried out by the RMSprop algorithm. The research results are expected to provide new insights into the application of Deep Learning technology in the aviation industry, with the aim of improving punctuality, reducing flight delays, and increasing the overall efficiency of airline operations. Thus, this research is expected to provide a valuable contribution in the development of a scheduling system that is more adaptive and responsive to the dynamics that occur in flight operations.

Abstract

Mobile robots are a type of robot that can move from one place to another. Therefore, this type of robot has been given the ability to detect objects and measure estimated distances to objects around it to then carry out actions to turn left and right, forward, backward or even stop to avoid collisions. In general, to measure the distance of objects on mobile robots, ultrasonic sensors such as the HC-SR04 are used and some also use cameras, although they can be used to measure distances, but the use of these sensors has disadvantages, such as the maximum distance that can be measured is 4 meters. Given this deficiency, the research that will be carried out will try a YOLO deep learning method that can detect objects and then measure the distance of objects around them. From the results of the tests that have been carried out, it is known that the distance to the object that can be measured is 31,400 mm with the actual object height being 1750 mm.

Abstract

In the process of forming clusters with the K-Medoids algorithm, cluster result anomalies often occur, such as outliers. This value appears as a revelation in existing data patterns. Outliers occur due to measurement errors, rare events, or due to other unexpected factors. In this research, the dataset used is data on prospective KIP recipient students at Budi Darma University, where there is a high level of interest in KIP Kuliah while the quota is limited, which means that KIP Kuliah administrators sometimes have difficulty determining which students are eligible to receive KIP Kuliah. For this reason, the K-Medoids clustering technique was used to cluster data on 54 prospective students who were eligible to receive KIP Kuliah Merdeka and those who were not eligible. From the cluster results, outlier detection was carried out using the box plot method with the aim of finding out whether each cluster member was actually in the appropriate cluster or not. The result is that the data cluster is divided into 2 (K-2). In the max min centroid selection, cluster I consists of 52 members and cluster II consists of 2 members, where the outlier data consists of 3 data, while in random centroid selection (python), cluster I consists of 36 members and cluster II 18 members with data The outlier consists of 4 members. The accuracy of the clustering results between max min and random centroid selection has an accuracy of 64.81%, and the outlier accuracy is 75%.

Abstract

Health is the most crucial aspect of life, as it signifies a state of well-being and vitality. Gastric diseases pose a significant health concern, often requiring prompt and accurate diagnosis for effective treatment. In this study, an expert system utilizing the forward chaining method is developed to aid in diagnosing gastric diseases. The system aims to streamline the diagnostic process, providing users with timely and reliable results to facilitate early intervention and management of stomach disorders. Through the integration of technology and medical expertise, this system offers a valuable tool in enhancing healthcare delivery and improving patient outcomes in the realm of gastric health. The research findings highlight the effectiveness of an expert system employing the forward chaining method in diagnosing gastric diseases. The system demonstrates the capability to efficiently identify and assess symptoms related to stomach disorders, offering users a reliable and accessible platform for obtaining accurate diagnostic results. By leveraging current knowledge base rules and user-provided symptom data, the system enhances the diagnostic process, potentially reducing both time and costs associated with diagnosing gastric diseases. This study underscores the significance of technological advancements in healthcare, particularly in the realm of gastric health, by providing a valuable tool for early detection and management of stomach disorders.

Abstract

This research utilizes computer technology and software as effective learning media. The Bubble Sort algorithm was chosen because it is simple but effective in sorting data. Using Flowgorithm as a visualization tool makes it easier to understand the algorithm and ensures correct implementation. The research methodology includes literature study, analysis of data sorting characteristics, and application of algorithms in Flowgorithm. The results show that Bubble Sort succeeded in sorting the data correctly according to ascending order, confirming the usefulness of the Flowgorithm application in learning algorithms and programming.

Abstract

The development of Information Technology is currently experiencing very rapid progress. Many agencies, both government and private, are trying to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their work through the implementation of computerized information systems. At PT. Primajaya Multi Technology to support the company's performance, an inventory of goods is needed to be used in work such as office supplies, laptops/PCs, printers, and so on. From the author's observations, the inventory of goods does not yet have a computerized system, but inventory data processing is still done manually. in the process of designing the system using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). As the author has explained above, the purpose of making this journal is to build a laptop inventory application system that will be run by admin staff to facilitate the recording of laptop inventory items.
