<![CDATA[Abstrak : Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif. Sebelum dilaksanakan penelitian siswa yang aktif dalam pembelajaran matematika hanya 30%. Ketika dilaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dengan model kooperatif, diperoleh aktivitas siswa kelas V SDN 13 Sungai Kunyit pada siklus 1 sebesar 73,84% (tergolong aktif) dan pada siklus 2 terdapat peningkatan aktivitas siswa sebesar 82,81% (tergolong aktif). Proses pembelajaran dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dalam pembelajaran matematika pada siklus 1 terdapat 4 kategori tinggi dan 3 kategori rendah, dan dapat dikatakan baik. Kemudian pada siklus 2 proses pembelajaran  mengalami peningkatan yaitu terdapat 6 kategori tinggi dan hanya terdapat 1 kategori rendah. Hal ini berarti dalam pembelajaran matematika melalui penerapan kooperatif dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa kelas V SDN 13 Sungai Kunyit Kata Kunci : peningkatan aktivitas siswa, model kooperatif, proses pembelajaran/kinerja guru.  Abstract : The method used in this research is descriptive method . This type of research is action research using the implementation of cooperative learning . Before the students are actively carried out research in mathematics is only 30 % . When the action research conducted with the cooperative model , obtained activity fifth grade students of SDN 13 River Turmeric in cycle 1 was 73.84 % ( relatively inactive ) and the 2 cycle there is an increase of 82.81 % student activity ( classified as active ) . The learning process with the application of cooperative learning in mathematics learning in cycle 1 , there are 4 categories of high and low category 3 , and can be said to be good . Then in cycle 2 increased the learning process , there are 6 categories namely high and low there is only one category . This means in mathematics through the application of cooperative learning can enhance the activity of fifth grade students of SDN 13 River Turmeric.
