Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu hal penting sehingga mendorong pemerintah untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan dan pemerataan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia yaitu dengan diaplikasikannya sistem zonasi terhadap proses penerimaan peserta didik baru. Ketentuan sistem zonasi dimuat dalam Permendikbud Nomor 14 Tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan penilitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Disebut penelitian deskriptif karena bertujuan untuk menggambarkan atau mendeskripsikan keadaan suatu obyek dan subjek penelitian. Dilihat dari besarnya jumlah peminat yang masuk ke MTs Nurul Huda dan dari sudut prestasi, MTs Nurul Huda dapat dikategorikan sebagai salah satu madrasah yang memiliki daya saing tinggi. Salah satunya yaitu kepimpinan kepala sekolah yang efektif dan inovatif, sarana yang memadai, kualitas pendidik yang memenuhi standar dan dikembangkannya berbagai inovasi pembelajaran. Dengan sistem zonasi ini MTs. Nurul Huda tahun ini telah memaksimalkan kekuatan madrasah untuk memberikan kepercayaan kepada masyarakat dan membuat MTs. Nurul Huda ini lebih unggul dari sekolah lain.

Abstract

The background of this title selection is the inability of students in Arabic. Many students do not like learning Arabic because they feel boredom in learning Arabic. Most students believe that Arabic is a language such a difficult to learn. Among the difficulties faced by students are difficulties in pronounciation and writing. Therefore, researchers want to apply an ASSURE (Analyze State Select Utilize Require Evaluation) to improve student achievement in Arabic. Researchers use quantitative methods and use observation, documentation and tests in their data collection. From the results of the pre-test and post-test conducted by the researcher it can be concluded that there is a significant improvement and shows that the ASSURE (Analyze State Select Utilize Require Evaluation) learning model is effective for use in learning

Abstract

The teaching process that still uses traditional methods has an impact to students. One of that impact is the obstructed of student’s ability to master speaking skills, whereas the main function of language learning is as a communication tool. Therefore, researchers want to provide one way to improve the ability to speak Arabic, namely by using the Boardroom application. By using this application, the process of teaching Arabic in the classroom will be more innovative and raises student’s corage in their Arabic speaking skills. This research was conducted on eight grade students of the Belang Islamic junior high school, Kancheng Madiun. This study uses quantitative methods. The data collection process will be carried out by interviews, questionares, tests and drawings. Whit this method of data collection, the researchers will get more validity and depth data in the field.

Abstract

The process of teaching Arabic in MTs Hasyim Ash'ari Ash-Nahdiyyah Sedati Sidoarjo is a traditional learning process, where the teacher uses the lecture method to teach speaking skills. The background of this research is the teacher does not have the appropriate innovation and model, while in the learning process requires the use of appropriate learning theories so that students do not feel difficulties and can obtain material more effectively and efficiently. This research uses quantitative methods. The data collection methods are: observation method, test method and document. As for the research sample, it was 22 students in seventh grade. From this study it can be seen an increase in kalam skills in students after applying the Fishbowl method. with the analysis obtained with the t-test: t_0 results are 9,088 and tt is 1,720 because t_0 is greater than tt then the hypothesis zero (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is acceptable.

Abstract

This study examines how the interpretation of ukhuwah verses in the Qur'an in fostering unity and brotherhood that has relevance to the culture of Pela Gandong in Maluku as a reactualization of the values of brotherhood in the Medina charter. This research is qualitative research using library research methods and then analyzed descriptively with an anthropological approach. The results of this study show that Pela and Gandong culture is a representative of ukhuwah Islamiyah in essence, namely brotherhood based on Islamic values. Pela reflects brotherhood of humanity (ukhuwah insaniyah) and Gandong reflects brotherhood established by family and national ties (ukhuwah wathaniyah wa an-nasab). The values of brotherhood in pela gandong culture are mutual help, providing a sense of security between others, understanding each other's characteristics

Abstract

Qur'an takes seriously the issue of poverty alleviation. Hence, the Government and BAZNAS also prioritize poverty alleviation with various efforts and programs. According to Statistics Indonesia or Badan Pusat Statistic (BPS), the percentage of Indonesia's poverty population in one year (March 2020-March 2021) increased by 0.36% or as many as 1,120,000 people. According to this issue, BAZNAS successfully alleviates poverty by 28,859 people within one year. The data shows the lack of absorption of poverty alleviation programs in Indonesia. This research aims to investigate how government and BAZNAS alleviate poverty in Indonesia. This investigation uses a qualitative approach with literature studies and descriptive analysis techniques. This present study also identifies the solutions in the Qur'an to the government and BAZNAS in alleviating poverty. Based on the analysis, the findings in this study indicate that the role of the government and BAZNAS in alleviating poverty has not been integrated. The achievements obtained are less than optimal and tend to be ineffective. Qur'an offered three psychological solutions; mental reconstruction in alleviating natural poverty, collective philanthropic movements in alleviating cultural poverty, and harmonization of government programs and BAZNAS in alleviating structural poverty.

Abstract

The Qur'an has become a universal guide to life - including political ethics - although it is not explained explicitly so that in its development, the concept of politics and government reflected in the constitution often has relevance to the values of the Qur'an. This study aims to reflect on the main values in the al-Qu'an related to political ethics to be elaborated in the concept of the Constitution in Indonesia, namely Pancasila and the UUD 1945. This research analyses the result using a qualitative approach, a thematic literature study method aided by Abdullah Saeed's contextual hermeneutic approach. The research results show that as a whole, the Pancasila precepts have a meaning that is relevant to the values of the Qur'an, namely the 1st precept of monotheism, the 2nd precept of equality, the 3rd precept of brotherhood/ unity, the 4th precept of deliberation in the process of decision-making, and the 5th precept of social justice/welfare. As for the thematic review of the UUD 1945, there are basic values of political ethics in the Qur'an, namely regarding law, power, and sovereignty; leadership and democracy; government apparatus; and Human Rights. Regarding the controversial articles in the Criminal Code, there are several important points, including the limitations on freedom of expression, alternative criminal penalties and commutation of sentences for corruptors, as well as punishment for adultery perpetrators, which in the contextualization of the values of the Quran contains the relevance of ethical, political and moral values.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the problems of learning Arabic caused by the heterogeneity of the educational background of the students, (2) the problems experienced by non-Islamic boarding school students in the learning process and their efforts to achieve the target of learning Arabic, and (3) the efforts teachers address the problems that occur in the process of learning Arabic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative type. The subjects in this study were two Ma'had Al Ihsan Surabaya teachers and six new students. The background of this research is that there are problems experienced by several new students of Ma'had Al Ihsan Surabaya, especially non-Islamic boarding school students, in the process of learning Arabic in class. The results showed that (1) the various educational backgrounds of the students greatly influenced the level of quality of their understanding of Arabic lessons (2) the constraints of non-Islamic boarding school students in mastering Arabic, which consisted of factors of interest, educational background, difficulties in adjusting, delays in learning, lack of confidence, laziness and anxiety. As for the efforts made by non-Islamic boarding school students to be able to achieve the target of learning Arabic, namely studying with friends and increasing study time outside class hours (3) efforts made by ustadz to strengthen students' ability to speak, namely forming study groups both in class and outside outside of class, holding additional classes, holding additional activities every Saturday morning, giving additional assignments and creating a mandatory environment in Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using the demonstration method in improving Arabic vocabulary mastery among eighth-grade students (Class VIII F) at MTsN 4 Kota Surabaya. The focus of this research arises from the issue of less interactive learning, as teachers often rely on lecture-based methods that fail to sufficiently motivate students and do not provide concrete learning experiences. The study employed a quantitative approach involving 32 students through the administration of pretest and posttest assessments. The data were analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, Levene’s homogeneity test, paired t-test, and Cohen’s d effect size calculation. The results indicate that the data meet the assumptions of normality and equal variances. The paired t-test revealed a highly significant improvement between the scores before and after the application of the demonstration method (p < 0.001), while the effect size value of 5.20 signifies a very strong influence. In addition to the increase in test scores, observations showed positive changes in students’ learning behavior; they appeared more enthusiastic during demonstrations, more focused when the teacher presented the material, and more confident in asking and answering questions. Students also became more active in applying new vocabulary through practical exercises, creating a more dynamic learning environment compared to before. Overall, the findings confirm that the demonstration method is not only effective in enhancing learning outcomes but also successful in increasing students’ motivation, participation, and engagement in Arabic language learning.
