Abstract

This study aimed to describe the assistance of JICA as one form ofbilateral relations between Japan and Indonesia. This study also aims to lookat the prospect of JICA's assistance in the environmental field in RiauProvince. This study is limited in the span of 2011 to 2014 and more focuseddiscuss the JICA cooperation with the Riau provincial and regency Bengkalisin the environmental field. Writing this thesis uses qualitative researchmethods, descriptive and research techniques used by the author is literature.The results showed that with the implementation of the cooperationbetween Japan-Indonesia through JICA, namely the provision of technicalassistance in pengelolaaan and handling of GSK-BB Biosphere Reserveineffective. This is indicated by the absence of positive results were sosignificant after inclusion of JICA and the establishment of cooperationbetween the Japan-Indonesia. Even in the years 2013-2014 still damage andencroachment in the conservation area. Even in view of growth and grazingdamage seen from reaching 1.18% in 2012-2014.Keywords : Riau Province, Biosphere Reserve of GSK-BB, JICA

Abstract

This research is political economy study which the background is solidarity action, whose the actors are nation. Nowadays many nations start the diplomatik relation or bilateral cooperation just because of the national interest and needs. However this phenomenon didn’t happen in relation between Venezuela and Palestinian. Diplomatik relation between both of these nation started by sympathy feeling of socialist nation, Venezuela. Venezuela’s Government, Hugo Chaves concern about the struggle of Palestinian who attacked by Israeli during twenty two days on January 2009, it named Operation Cast Lead. Palestinian have been force for along time, life under the monopoly of political economy by Israeli, and Israeli takes some districts of Palestinian region too.This research is conducted by using the research methods literature where the data and information received from sources that are relevant to the research problem. This research use constructivist perspective, solidarity concept and modernization theory to analyze the relationship and solidarity phenomenon between Venezuela and Palestinian.Venezuelan and Palestinian have the same history and similarity emotional, it makes Venezuelan’s President Hugo Chaves did solidarity act in political, economy and social to solve and help the struggle of Palestinian. Even if Hugo Chaves was died, solidarity act for Palestinian never ever stop, the new President, Nicolas Maduro still gave many aid in political, economy and social act.Keywords : solidarity, struggle, aid, political economy

Abstract

Abstract

This study analyzes the foreclosure dispute problem Ship conducted by Ghana who seized the ship ARA Libertad belong to Argentina in 2012, the seizure of the ship in the background backs by the influence made by NML Capital, which is a Multi National Corporation (MNC) which is based in the United States. Argentina ever build cooperative relationships Fiscal Agency Agreement (FAA) with NML Capital in 1994 experienced a problem on debt payments, Argentina did not pay their debts to the NML Capital due to several things, which led to NML Capital demanding Argentina to the level of appeal in the Supreme Court of England regarding payment debt, the decision of the appeal at the Supreme Court level, NML Capital gain verdict that NML Capital reserves the right to freeze the assets of Argentina that is outside the countryAuthors collected data from books, encyclopedias, journals, media and website in analyzing the NML Capital Influence in policies Ghana seized the ship ARA Libertad. This study used a liberal paradigm. The theory used is the state and the Multinationals of Robert Gilpin in the book Global Political Economy: Understanding the International Economic Order. This study shows how a Multi-National Corporation (MNC) can affect the measures taken State and cause of action-reaction between the State, Ghana interest in this case the seized ship ARA Libertad is considered as an attempt to make a profit to NML Capital, and the arrest of the vessel Policy this affects the relationship Ghana and Argentina. Abstract

This research describes how the effectiveness of the Indonesia government adoopted a policy that Indonesia can be a determinant of the price of CPO in the international commodity market. Indonesia is the world's largest palm oil producer since 2007, but global CPO market still refers to the physical market and the futures market Rotterdam / derivatives Malaysian Derivative Exchange (MDEX) in Kuala Lumpur as the CPO's market price. Indonesia also determines the price and has a strong position in the international palm oil trade but not effective yet, the trade liberalization needs to be done to reduce export duties, strengthen coordination between government, employers and local communities, in addition to the need for support from the government to build infrastructure and strengthen negotiations at international level.Keywords: Commodity, CPO, Price Reference, Rotterdam

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the Greenpeace efforts in save the arctic from interestd oil and gas drilling russia. Type of this research is descriptive analysis. The decades of the environment is a new issue and the most hotly discussed issues in the international world. Global warming and climate change has threatened the world for causing extreme changes in weather to natural disasters. Earth's polar axis and has an important function for the earth. Behind the threats, the Arctic have a source of potential oil and gas reserves of the world. Russia became a very ambitious country on this potential, to issue a policy to get this potential by drilling for oil and gas in the Arctic through the international oil and gas company's russia. Greenpeace is one of the largest NGO in the world and a vision for the environment, issued a petition rejection of oil drilling in the Arctic or the north pole undertaken by the Russian oil company because impact of global warming and climate change.The writer try to describe and explain about Greenpeace efforts to save the arctic region from the Russian oil and gas drilling and its impact on the environment in the Arctic ecosystem good nor bad in the world. Sources that will be presented in this study is a secondary source. Abstract

study analyzes the role of the United Nations made High Commissioner for Refugees in dealing with asylum seekers Afghan in Pekanbaru-Indonesia 2015 with the focus of research that Afghan asylum seekers in immigration detention of Pekanbaru.This research method is library research and interviews. The framework used by the author is Level of Analysis used International Organization ,International Organization Theory and Theory of Roles, human security concept and perspective neoliberalis.From the analysis using the concepts and theories and perspectives, we can conclude that as an international organization under the auspices of the United Nations tasked to deal with the problem of refugees, the UNHCR exercised its powers in dealing with asylum seekers who are in immigration detention Pekanbaru by doing data collection to Rudenim though not scheduled and rated slow. After UNHCR to collect data then after that every Deteni given a registration number to the end of his interview to determine their statusnya.if declared as refugees then these people moved into camps under the supervision of Class I Immigration Office Pekanbaru and that has not been given the status the refugees must remain in Detention Centre of Pekanbaru during the process. UNHCR also helps asylum seekers / Refugees to obtain a durable solution is local integration, pengembalia voluntary and third country resettlement. However, UNHCR has not been able to carry out its role with maximum because hampered by the lack of shelter provided to asylum-finding / pegungsi and lack of operational funds.Keywords: UNHCR, Asylum Seekers. Abstract

This research explains the role of international organizations in dealing with refugees as happened in Syria in 2011. One of the Syrian refugee destination countries is Lebanon, because it borders on Syria. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), which has the task of coordinating protection and solutions for refugees in accordance with the mandate given by the United Nations in the name of humanity.This research uses qualitative research method. Data obtained from books, journals, articles, dictionaries and websites. The concept used in this research is the role concept and using the theory of international organization.This research shows the role of UNHCR in dealing with Syrian refugees and has made UNHCR an active role in providing its assistance to Syrian refugees residing in Lebanon. With UNHCR's collaboration with the Lebanese government a direct positive impact on Syrian refugees through continuous protection assistance, safety assistance and other assistance.Keywords: UNHCR, Role, Lebanon, and Syrian Refugees

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang implementasi convention on the elimination of all form of discrimination against women (CEDAW) dalam penghapusan praktek female genital mutilation (FGM) di Sierra Leone pada tahun 2008-2013 dalam penelitian ini peneliti berfokus pada imlementasi cedaw yang telah diratifikasi oleh sierra leone dalam penghapusan praktek FGM yang merupakan budaya dari masyarakat sierra leone untuk proses wanita menuju dewasa. budaya fgm sendiri merupakan salah satu bentuk diskriminasi terhadap perempuanUntuk menjelaskan penelitian ini Peneliti memperoleh data melalui Jurnal, Buku, Tesis, Laporan Ilmuah, internet dan laporan pemerintah sierra leone kepda cedaw yang diterbitkan oleh komite cedaw. Perspektif yang digunakan adalah perspektif feminisme dengan Teori Feminisme radikal dan dengan Konsep hak asasi manusia.Dalam penelitian ini penulis mengambil kesimpulan bahwa implementasi cedaw oleh pemerintah sierra leone dalam masalah penghapusan female genital mutilation tidak diterapkan secara baik oleh pemerintah sierra leone dikarenakan pemerintah tidak memasukan undang-undang kedalam hukum nasionalnya. alasan pemerintah adalah dikhwatirkan mengancam kepentingan nasionalnya.Keywords : convention on the elimination of all form of discrimination against women (CEDAW), female genital mutilation (FGM), violence against women.

Abstract

This research explains how the existence of an international non-governmental organizations in providing tendentious reports about the development of Jemaah Islamiyah in Indonesia.International crisis group is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to prevent and resolve conflicts through analysis based on field dangerous high-level advocacy and analysis made by the courts.in its report, titled Al-Qaeda in Southeast Asia: the case of the Ngruki network in Indonesia, making Indonesia into a corner because, according to the report of international crisis group claimed Indonesia as a center for the development of terrorism the biggest in Southeast Asia because it has links with al-Qaeda.Sidney Jones as director of the International Crisis Group in Indonesia have strong reasons related to the development of the movement Jemaah Islamiyah in Indonesia because of the strong organizational structure and ideology of Jemaah Islamiyah who embrace the ideologysalafiah.
