Abstract

Efficiency of the use of inputs in the farming field in the effort to reach an optimal profit in the farming field and environment continuity in agriculture. The correct inputs placement will increase the efficiency and productivity in the rice farming field. This research aims to analyze the impact of the use of seeds, urea, phonska, sp36, pesticides, and labor on the productivity of rice farming and the efficiency level in the use of production factors in the rice farming field in Desa Srikaton, Buay Madang Timur District, East OKU Regency. The quantitative method is used in this research. The data are collected by using questionnaire. There are 60 participants which are determined by cluster sampling technique. Primary and secondary data are used as supporting data. The data are analyzed by using regression technique, using Cobb-Douglas production function model, and allocative efficiency analysis. The result shows that urea, phonska, pesticides, and labor had a positive impact on rice production, while seeds and sp36 had no effect on rice production. In Desa Srikaton rice farming field, the production inputs such as seeds, urea, sp36, pesticide, and labor have not efficient yet, while production inputs such as phonska fertilizer are not efficient.

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Terpadu (MIT) Bakti Ibu is one of the highly sought-after elementary schools in the city of Madiun and its surrounding areas. The busiest time occurs during the pick-up after school hours, as it involves interactions between the pick-up persons and many students. The school has provided staff to call out each student who has been picked up by their respective guardians. However, this process is deemed inefficient as it heavily relies on the performance of the staff at that moment, which may not always be optimal. The objective of this activity is to enhance efficiency in calling the students. It involves implementing an independent student-calling Artificial Intelligence (AI) device based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology, utilizing Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology embedded in a Mini PC platform running a Linux operating system with a touch screen connected to a server via the internet. The activity takes place at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Terpadu (MIT) Bakti Ibu in Banjarejo Sub-district, Taman District, Madiun City, East Java. The activity methodology includes preparation, demonstration, evaluation, and mentoring stages. The outcome of this activity is that the TTS technology enables computers to convert text into speech that can be heard by humans. This technology is utilized to aid or even replace the role of staff in calling students who have been picked up by their guardians at the school, based on student name data stored in the database server.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat karakter wirausaha siswa di SMK Negeri 6 Tangerang Selatan dengan fokus pada dua aspek kunci: penguatan karakter wirausaha dan pengembangan kewirausahaan digital. Dalam konteks perubahan dinamis dalam dunia bisnis yang dipengaruhi oleh kemajuan teknologi digital, pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan siswa SMK agar siap berkontribusi dalam ekonomi digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode ceramah yang didukung oleh teknik presentasi yang efektif. Selain itu, dalam kegiatan pelatihan, setiap materi akan diikuti oleh sesi tanya jawab dan diskusi, yang dapat berbentuk Focus Group Discussion (FGD). PKM ini diharapkan memberikan manfaat nyata bagi siswa SMK Negeri 6 Tangerang Selatan dalam mempersiapkan mereka menjadi wirausaha yang kompeten dan beretika di era digital. Dengan penguatan karakter wirausaha, dan pengetahuan tentang kewirausahaan digital, siswa akan memiliki landasan yang kuat untuk meraih kesuksesan dalam dunia kerja, dunia usaha dan dunia industry yang mengalami perubahan yang sangat pesat.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the readiness of tourism villages around the Taman Hutan Raya WAR to adopt the concept of Smart Tourism. The conceptual framework used in this research is based on the concept of Smart Tourism, which includes the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in managing tourist destinations. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive type. The study was conducted in Sumberagung Village, Kemiling District, Bandarlampung, and covered seven tourist destinations, namely Kampung Vietnam, Puncak Vietnam, Lembah Vietnam, Jukung Vietnam, Rusa Breeding, Lengkung Langit 2, and Gerbang Alam. The data collection process was carried out using observation and structured interviews. The data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques, namely content analysis. The results of the study indicate that tourism villages around Taman Hutan Raya WAR still need a lot of improvement in terms of infrastructure, services, and the implementation of information technology. However, they have great potential to develop Smart Tourism as one of the strategies to enhance the attractiveness of tourist destinations in the area. Therefore, this study provides an important theoretical contribution to the development of the concept of Smart Tourism in tourism village areas, as well as recommendations for stakeholders in developing the area.
