Abstract

Dried chillies arepotential to substitute fresh chillies when the price of fresh chillies significantly increases, and its purchases were expected to determine by the household consumer’s attitude. The aims of this researchare 1) to examine the household attitudes on dried chilies purchasing bythe Theory of Planned Behavior approach, 2) to determine the determinant factors ofdried chilli buying intention, and 3) to estimate the cross-elasticity of dried chili againsts fresh chilli. The results showed that household consumer attitude towards the purchase of dried chillies, in term of subjective norms,perceived behavioral control, and purchase intention,  are in medium category. The determinant factors on purchase intention of dried chilies (α = 10 percent) are the subjective norms, attitudes towards the purchase of dried chilies, and household income per month. The dried chilli cross-elasticity valueis very inelastic (0.069). Due to that, the policy implications in encouraging the dried chilli purchasing are the socialization of the dried chilli’s benefits and sustain the avaibility of dried chillies in traditional markets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi strategis siswa SMP peraih medali olimpiade matematika internasional dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika khususnya pada topik aljabar. Kompetensi strategis merupakan kemampuan siswa dalam merumuskan, merepresentasikan, dan menyelesaikan masalah. Subjek penelitian adalah satu siswa laki-laki dan satu siswa perempuan SMP sederajat yang pernah mendapatkan medali olimiade matematika di tingkat internasional baik medali emas, perak, maupun perunggu dalam 2 tahun terakhir.  Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tugas pemecahan masalah, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Indikator yang dinilai mencakup merumuskan, merepresentasikan dan memecahkan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap merumuskan masalah, kedua subjek membaca dan membayangkan situasi dan kondisi dari permasalahan yang ada, subjek laki-laki tidak menuliskan pada lembar jawaban tentang informasi apa saja yang diketahui di soal, sedangkan subjek perempuan menuliskan dengan lengkap informasi yang diketahui di soal. Pada tahap merepresentasikan, subjek laki-laki menuliskan dalam bentuk simbol atau sketsa matematis sedangkan subjek perempuan menuliskan semua kemungkinan bentuk aljabar yang memenuhi. Pada tahap memecahkan masalah, subjek laki-laki cenderung menggunakan cara yang lebih singkat dan efektif, sedangkan subjek perempuan bekerja lebih runtut dan rinci yaitu mendaftar semua kemungkikan biaya yang harus dikeluarkan, kedua subjek mendapatkan jawaban yang sama dan benar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze internal and external factors that influence the improvement of optimization of company performance, analyze the performance of human resources at PT Rekadaya Elektrika, and formulate alternative strategies of PT rekadaya elektrika in the face of high market competition seen from SDM performance. This research method uses quantitative with the number of respondents as much as 5 out of 3 from the internal and 2 from the external. Data analysis techniques using IFE, EFE, SWOT and QSP Matrix Analysis. Data analysis results on IFE marks weigh 2,722, while on EFE matrix weighs 2,924. Research results show that IE Matrix is in the quarter 5 that is growth and stable. Whereas the alternative strategy that is the first priority of the QSP Matrix results is social protection and employee welfare (remuneration) with an attractive score value of 6,033. The results of the descriptive analysis on the HR Score Card explain that the competency development perspective is the focus of the company to the vision of the mission of the enterprise. The managerial implications of this study can provide increased productivity, improved employee retention and optimized SDM with employee protection and welfare strategies.
