Abstract

Higher education is an organization that requires information technology and adequate information systems so that its objectives can be achieved. An institute that applies information technology is expected to conduct an evaluation of information technology currently in use to help measure how well information technology governance is implemented. One of framework for evaluating governance is COBIT 4.1. This research focuses on the domain of monitoring and evaluating(ME) to evaluate the governance of student academic information systems at Nusantara University PGRI Kediri. COBIT 4.1 was chosen because it suits the educational context and can identify information technology resources (systems, people, data and technology). Data collection techniques are done by interview and questionnaire. The results of the study are the value of the level of maturity in the governance of SIAKAD in ME domain and the proposed improvement of governance. Based on the calculation of governance maturity level that is on average is at level two where the campus has been able to make planning and management of computer-based systems but there is no formal documentation.Keywords: Cobit 4.1, Monitoring and Evaluation, IT Governance

Abstract

The importance of the role of technology and information systems within the organization to support business activities so as to provide services in accordance with organizational goals, IKA Uniyap is an alumni development organization of Yapis University of Papua, in carrying out its role of IKA Uniyap has not fully utilized the information system.The togaf framework is a method that is able to design and manage technology architecture and information system so that it can describe a good architectural model and can be used by the organization to achieve the goal.The discussion in this research is making documentation of technology architecture planning and information system of alumni service of Yapis University of Papua using togaf framework, with result of discussion that is scope of business process covering 2 main activity and supporting, defining architectural principles and vision, mapping business strategy solution, defining current business conditions and proposed target business architecture, information systems architecture and technology architecture. Keyword: Arsitektur bisnis, Arsitektur sistem informasi, arsitektur teknologi, TOGAF ADM

Abstract

 Information system plays an important role in a company or educational institution, especially SMKN in Tanjungpandan Belitung in order to promote, administer, display competitive advantages for each study program owned by the State Vocational High School in Tanjungpandan Belitung via its website. Government institutions such as schools should have a website and think of new innovations in order to compete and survive in the fierce business education competition. As one of the information services, it is necessary to build a website that handles requests from many users well.Website has an interface or interface that serves to interact between users with the technology itself. Information technology with one another has a different interface design according to the functions and needs of users. Making the user interface which aims to make information technology easier to use by users or unfamiliar is called user friendly.Research to be conducted by researchers has differences in data retrieval because this test will use the Usability and Golden Rules method of using Usability Testing is used to evaluate and modify website performance while the Golden Rules are used to evaluate the website design from the measurement of the two methods bringing up a new measurement tool. The results of the study can be used as input for website development at the Vocational Middle School in Tanjungpandan Belitung. Keywords: Website – SMKN – Usability – Golden Rules

Abstract

The application of SI/TI in the Organization has three main objectives to improve work efficiency, effectiveness of management and competitive advantage. Planning of integrated information system strategy very important is done at the Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu, so can having a mechanism applying SI/TI to optimal achieve the vision, mission and purpose. Limitations of this research is variable (1) the research is limited to the scope of the integrated information system strategic planning carried out at UMB, (2) The methodology used is Ward and Peppard with the method of analysis is value chain, SWOT and McFarlan Stragic Grid, (3) Data obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, (4)  This research will devise a strategic information system with the final results of the research in the form of recommendations and roadmap information system implementation of integrated information system of the future at UMB. Keywords : Planning, Strategic, Integrated informaton System, Ward and Peppard, Value Chain, SWOT, McFarlan Strategic Grid.
