Abstract

The discription of human’s psyche and motivation was besides discribed by general psychology it was also done in the Islamic psychology. Human psyche and motivation in general psychology is more emphasized on the worldly interests, meanwhile the psyche and motivation in Islam bisides containts the worldy interests it also includes the religious belief to firmly believe in the truth of Islamic doctrines. These points of differences is more caused by the opinion paradigm used. The object of general psychology is the real facts, meanwhile in the Islamic psychology besides views the materials also perceives the immaterials. The Islamic psychology containts the elements related to religious preferences for the shake of religious or belief interests, meanwhile it is less or nothing in general psychology. The aspect of religious is the special charecteristic of Islamic psychology compared with general psychology or others.

Abstract

This research departs from the problem regarding most people in mental health care businesses who prefer shamanism practices which are generally black magic which is not at all relevant to Islamic teachings. On the other hand that Islam as a religion, contains teachings and complete instructions, including methods of mental health care. This is the main focus of this research, how is the Method of Care for Mental Health in Islam. The purpose of this study was to find concrete and valid data about mental health care in Islam, both in the form of verses of the Qur'an, Hadith or opinions of the scholars, especially those relating to the meaning of mental health and methods of maintaining mental health. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with the Religion psychology approach, which is where the psychology of religion functions as a formal object in this study while the verses of the Koran, Hadith and the opinions of the scholars are relevant to the subject matter in the study, is a material object. From all the topics related to the main problem of this research, found that, the relationship between religion and mental health in Islam is a therapy, which lies in the attitude of total surrender to Allah SWT, with complete surrender the peace of mind will be found, which can later be forming a balanced human life in the afterlife. Healthy mental criteria, in Islam are grouped into six categories, namely: Having a positive mental attitude towards himself. Self-actualization. Able to hold integration with existing psychological functions. Able to be autonomous towards yourself (Mandiri). Have an objective perception of the reality that exists. Able to harmonize environmental conditions with yourself. And the last method, that the model of mental health care in Islam is; methods of faith, Islam, and ihsan.

Abstract

The attitude opposing Pancasila on one hand rests upon the Qur’an as the legal basis for the people and on the other hand is a consistently hot discourse. The foregoing makes it essential to study the relevance of Pancasila and the Qur’an. The researchers examine the Qur’anic viewpoint on Pancasila by examining its relevance to the values of Pancasila’s points. This library research is descriptive qualitative. The researchers use the maudhu'iy tafsir approach in elaborating Qur’anic verses to see their compatibility with Pancasila. Maudhu'iy's interpretation begins by collecting verses related to the problem, analyzing their meanings so that they come to a conclusion. From the research, it can be understood that Pancasila and the Qur’an have the same intentions and meaning relationships. In principle, Pancasila is the Islamic teaching in the Qur’an. This conclusion is indicated by the 45 points of Pancasila’s values in that all of which have relevant meanings to the Qur’an

Abstract

Bila merujuk kepada berbagai pendapat tentang konsep Islam dan psikologi humanistik ketika berbicara potensi manusia, akan dijumpai beragam pendapat. Pada satu sisi ada yang memandang bahwa konsep yang ditawarkan oleh aliran tersebut tidak bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam, sedang di sisi lain memandang bahwa apa yang ditawarkan oleh aliran tersebut bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam. Kelompok pertama, memandang psikologi humanistik mewakili suara Islam. Sementara kelompok yang kedua mengatakan bahwa over optimistik jika menjadikan manusia sebagai penentu tunggal pengembangan sumber daya manusia, sedangkan di dalamnya ada peran Tuhan.Bertitik tolak perbedaan persepsi ahli tentang hal tersebut, studi ini bermaksud memaparkan informasi normatif deskriptif melalui analisis kritis tentang potensi manusia sehingga dapat dipetakan bagaimana konsep pendidikan Islam dan bagaimana pandangan psikologi humanistik. Dengan itu, diharapkan akan jelas sisi mana dari psikologi humanistik yang sesuai dan benar-benar bertentangan dengan sudut pandang Islam, khususnya dalam melihat potensi manusia.Konklusi studi ini adalah, dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam, manusia adalah suatu entity yang unik karena memilik potensi melebihi dari makhluk-makhluk yang lain. Salah satu kekhasannya adalah terkait wujudnya yang multi dimensi dan bahkan untuk menciptakannya pernah didialogkan lebih dahulu oleh Allah dengan Malaikat. Sementara mazhab psikologi humanis memandang manusia memiliki kebutuhan serta kecenderungan untuk mengaktualisasikan diri. Kendatipun semua manusia memiliki kemampuan ini, hanya kecil sekali prosentase orang yang berhasil mencapainya.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the portrayal of educational values contained in the Kendurei Dulang Pat tradition in Sukarame village, Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu, by using a qualitative approach. Data were collected using interviews, and then analyzed through some stages comprising reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. This study revealed the following conclusion: Educational values in the Kendurei Dulang Pat tradition were  the value of I'tiqodiyah as shown that people believed that in the Kendurei Dulang Pat tradition, praying and whishing something were only resting upon Allah SWT; the value of amaliyah, in the implementation of Kendurei Dulang Pat, if prayer time came, prayer would be done first; and the value of khuluqiyah, in carrying out this tradition, mutual respects were shown wherein the elderly people sat at the front line and the youth sat at the back, and low attitudes were shown such as not boasting about one's health, instead always expecting everything only from Allah SWT and always making efforts to rest on Him.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: Role, Steps and Inhibiting and Supporting Factors of PGMI graduates in improving the development of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) based on Tracer Study in Rejang Lebong Regency.This research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires..  The results showed that: 1) graduates of  MI  of State Islamic Institute Curup have made improvements to the development of MI, 2) The steps of PGMI graduates in improving the development of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) based on Tracer Study in Rejang Lebong Regency are by providing services immediately, accurate and satisfying,  always improves the quality of work, increases both intra-curricular and extra-curricular activities, self-development, improve the quality of education and management of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. 3) The supporting  factors for PGMI graduates in improving the development of  MI in Rejang Lebong  are; a. ; The quality of education at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level, there has been a BOS (School Operational Assistance) fund program, teachers of MI are on average S1 qualified, b. Obstacle factors ; Limited facilities, Some rooms are fragile and not suitable, Some of the  equipments  are not in accordance with the needs and characteristics of the madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Research-Based Learning (RBL) model on improving scientific reasoning and critical thinking skills of PGMI students in the Science learning course. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a pretest–posttest control group design. The research subjects consisted of two groups of PGMI students at IAIN Curup: the experimental group (n=30) that received learning using the RBL model and the control group (n=30) that received conventional learning. The research instruments were tests of scientific reasoning and critical thinking skills administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the treatment. Data analysis used paired samples t-test and independent samples t-test. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant improvement in scientific reasoning skills of students in the RBL group from a pretest mean of 59.67 to 84.70 at posttest (p < 0.05); (2) there was a significant improvement in critical thinking skills from a mean of 57.83 to 69.33 (p < 0.05); and (3) there was a significant difference between the RBL group and the conventional group on both skills, with the RBL group obtaining higher scores (p < 0.05). These findings prove that the RBL model is effective in developing higher-order thinking skills of prospective madrasah ibtidaiyah teacher students. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of implementing RBL as an innovative learning alternative in higher education, particularly in teacher education programs, to prepare students for the demands of 21st-century skills
