Abstract

The profession as an educator is a profession that requires qualifications. One of the competencies of educators is to understand the child's development in supporting the learning process in the classroom. A teacher is a professional educator, so implicitly a teacher has volunteered himself to assume some of the educational responsibilities of the parents of students. Not everyone can become a teacher, because the teaching profession requires professionalism, prioritizing social interests and sincerity in carrying out tasks. All educators can become professional as long as there is intention, desire, motivation and commitment to do and achieve it. To realize high professionalism, educators can partner with the best people and organizations from all over the world. In addition, professional mentality must be possessed by professionals, namely quality mentality, altruistic mentality, service mentality, learner mentality, service mentality, creative mentality, and ethical mentality.

Abstract

This study is to analyze how the development of Indonesian society is based onmulticultural horizontal dimensions. The development of a multicultural-based societycan be said to be a change from the social symptoms that exist in a multicultural society,where these communities can live side by side peacefully (peaceful coexistence) incultural differences. The characteristics of a multicultural based society are as follows:(1); The occurrence of segmentation in the form of groups that often have sub-culturesthat are different from one another (2); Has a social structure divided into noncomplementaryinstitutions (3); Lack of developing consensus among its members onbasic values (4); Relatively, they often experience conflicts between one group andanother (5); Relatively, social integration grows on coercion and dependence in theeconomic field and (6), there is political domination by one group over other groups. Abstract

Authentic assessment in the form of performance assessment based on previously learned knowledge is the focus of this research. The study aims to understand the Influence of Authentic Assessment on Learning Motivation of Grade III Students in Javanese Language Subject at MI Thoriqul Huda Juwet-Ngronggot. The motivation behind this title stems from the strong connection between assessment and motivation. A teacher's assessment should drive students' motivation to enhance their learning quality. This thesis includes a quantitative research design. Data collection involves observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed, with the subsequent data analysis steps encompassing calculating authentic assessment results in Javanese language learning, scoring motivation questionnaires, and determining the influence of authentic assessment on student learning motivation using the Product Moment Correlation formula. The findings are as follows: (1) The application of authentic assessment in Grade III of MI Thoriqul Huda, specifically in Javanese language, is deemed excellent. This is substantiated by an average authentic assessment score of 84.6094. (2) Based on the questionnaire results about students' learning motivation in Javanese language, the score is remarkably high with an average score of 87.1875. (3) The calculation of the Product Moment Correlation formula reveals a significantly high correlation between authentic assessment and students' learning motivation in Javanese language. The correlation coefficient (rxy) is 0.75138, and the coefficient of determination is 57%, signifying that 57% of students' motivation in Javanese language learning at MI Thoriqul Huda Juwet-Ngronggot is influenced by authentic assessment.
