Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari tidak dapat dihindari. Perkembangan teknologi pada era globalisasi saat ini sangat pesat. Untuk itu, masyarakat dituntut untuk melakukan suatu perubahan di setiap kegiatannya. Terutama bagi para guru diharapkan dapat mengikuti perubahan tersebut dalam meningkatkan kualitas kegiatan belajar mengajar. Perkembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) telah berpengaruh terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia. Hal ini mendorong era baru peradaban manusia dari era industri ke era informasi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi pada TK ABA 16 Malang kami melihat masih ada guru yang beranggapan tidak menggunakan komputer dan IT (Teknologi Informasi) dalam proses pembelajaran bukan hal mengganggu jalannnya pelajaran karena guru merasa tidak mendapatkan fasilitas komputer saat mengajar, jadi inilah yang membuat guru merasa tidak perlu untuk tahu cara menggunakan komputer. Jika dilihat dari kenyataannya ini terjadi pada guru-guru yang sudah berusia tua, walaupun yang guru junior pun masih ada yang gagap pada kemajuan IT. Dari permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu diadakan kegiatan pelatihan dan pemahaman bagi guru untuk mengoptimalkan fasilitas TIK yang ada untuk menunjang keefektifan pembelajaran dan kompetensi guru. Setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan, tim pengusul akan memonitoring dan mengevaluasi pemahaman guru-guru tentang TIK yang ditentukan dengan standar keberhasilan pemahaman yaitu pencapaian skor harapan senilai 7 dari jumlah skor hasil observasi. Dari skor tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru sudah meningkat kompetensinya atau belum setelah mengikuti pelatihan IT mengenai penggunaan TIK sebagai media mengajar. Pelaksanaan evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengamati peningkatan kompetensi guru setelah satu minggu mengajar menggunakan IT melalui lembar observasi.

Abstract

Energy optimization in the Solar Power Plant system needs to have more attention. Indonesia is a tropical country that has two seasons, where the weather and cloud movements are frequently unpredictable, especially in the southern region of Java Island. To overcome this problem, an inverter equipped with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) was used. However, the current MPPT switching system was still not optimal with an efficiency of around 90%. In this study, the installation of MPPT was carried out in order to optimize the power in solar photovoltaic (PV) system due to the fluctuations of solar irradiation at PT. Jatinom Indah Agri, Blitar City. The maximum power generated by solar photovoltaic could be achieved by using the combination of DC - DC converter and artificial intelligence. In this study, the modeling of solar PV system was made using MATLAB software, where the design of the solar PV system consisted of a PV module with capacity 240W, DC to DC converter, battery and MPPT. Genetic Algorithm (GA)-based MPPT had been tested and compared to Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO)-based MPPT and conventional MPPT, where the GA-based MPPT worked well in finding the maximum power point in the solar photovoltaic system. It was found that GA-based MPPT produced a maximum power point close to PV power with an efficiency of 92%, while the effciciency of PSO-based MPPT and conventional MPPT were 85% and 79% respectively. In selecting the method for designing MPPT, a method with a wide range of sample data is required. This is due to the fluctuation of solar irradiance received by the solar PV.

Abstract

The stability of frequency and voltage in micro hydro power plants (MHPP) depends on the ability to maintain balance between active and reactive power while managing load variations. Active power is typically regulated by an Electronic Load Controller (ELC), while reactive power is managed by a Voltage Source Inverter (VSI), with the VSI specifically compensating for reactive power induced by inductive loads. This study aims to enhance the control of active and reactive power in an MHPP system under varying load conditions by improving the ELC and VSI using Fuzzy-PI controller. The Fuzzy-PI controller applied in the ELC ensures a more precise TRIAC firing angle, enabling accurate control of the ballast load to balance the active power. Similarly, Fuzzy-PI controller applied in the VSI provides precise reactive power compensation to counteract inductive load effects. The performance of the proposed Fuzzy-PI-based ELC and VSI was evaluated using a complete MHPP model simulated in Matlab. Results demonstrated that the improved ELC and VSI effectively enhanced the system performance. Specifically, the Fuzzy-PI controller enabled the ELC to achieve accurate active power balance, while the VSI delivered suitable reactive power compensation. Consequently, the system achieved improved frequency and voltage stability under load variations, leading to enhanced power quality in the MHPP.

Abstract

The implementation of smart cities in Indonesia presents significant cybersecurity challenges, particularly amid bureaucratic complexity, low digital literacy, and limited institutional capacity. This study explores cybersecurity management strategies in the context of Jakarta Smart City (JSC), emphasizing sociotechnical dynamics and embedded cultural-institutional factors. Employing a qualitative approach and the Actor-Network Theory (ANT) framework, this research examines four key moments in the stabilization of cybersecurity networks: problematization, interessement, enrollment, and mobilization. Empirical findings reveal that challenges such as fragmented governance, security awareness gaps, and limitations in technological adaptation are addressed through context-specific strategies. These include regulatory reforms, multi-stakeholder collaboration, hybrid governance models, and the localization of international standards, particularly ISO/IEC 27001. The study also incorporates Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27/2022) as a foundational legal framework that supports the integration of regional cybersecurity policies. Rather than focusing solely on technical solutions, this research emphasizes the importance of aligning cybersecurity strategies with local norms, leadership structures, and user practices. The proposed strategic model contributes to the cybersecurity governance literature by integrating ANT perspectives with empirical insights from a developing country. It offers a locally adapted and scalable framework to guide policymakers and smart city administrators in building resilient and culturally sensitive cybersecurity systems.

Abstract

This study developed the Smart Early Detection Rheumatoid Arthritis (SEDRA) tool, designed to diagnose RA at an early stage by analyzing nail conditions. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease that primarily affects joints, commonly in older individuals. Left untreated, RA can lead to severe complications such as pain, fatigue, paralysis, and even death. Early detection is essential to mitigate these effects. The research utilized advanced image processing techniques, MATLAB, Python, and a certainty factor approach. The experimental method involved capturing nail images, which were then processed in MATLAB to identify abnormalities associated with RA. Key nail indicators, including yellowing, brittleness, bloody splinters, textured surfaces, and jagged or perforated patterns, were validated using certainty factor technology to ensure diagnostic accuracy. The findings indicate that SEDRA effectively identifies RA through these nail features, providing accurate and timely diagnostic results. The results showed that this tool can detect Rheumatoid Arthritis disease through yellowing, brittle nails, bloody splinters, textured nails, and jagged or perforated nails. SEDRA was created to meet the needs of innovation in the health sector. SEDRA represents a breakthrough in health technology, providing a practical tool for early RA detection that can be integrated into primary healthcare systems. Its implications include improving patient outcomes by enabling early intervention and monitoring. Future research should focus on enhancing the diagnostic accuracy of SEDRA, expanding its applicability to diverse populations, and integrating it with mobile or wearable technologies to increase accessibility and usability in remote or underserved areas.

Abstract

Surat elektronik atau email merupakan media komunikasi yang sangat populer. Untuk mengirim dan menerima email, diperlukan sebuah penyedia (server) yang di dalamnya terdapat layanan email. Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) merupakan salah satu aplikasi mail server powerfull yang dapat dipergunakan sebagai aplikasi mail server dalam jumlah user puluhan hingga ribuan. Pada penelitian ini, sistem enkripsi pada Zimbra multiple-mail server menggunakan metode OpenPGP  diimplementasikan untuk mengamankan isi email yang dikirim maupun yang diterima, yaitu dengan memanfaatkan public key dan private key. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan metode OpenPGP  mampu bekerja dengan baik untuk keamanan sistem pengiriman dan atau penerimaan email pada multi mail server. AbstractElectronic mail or e-mail is a very popular communication medium. To send and receive e-mails, a provider (server) is needed in which there is an e-mail service. Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) is one powerful mail server application that can be used as a mail server application in the number of users from tens to thousands. In this study, the encryption system on the Zimbra multiple-mail server uses the OpenPGP  method to be implemented to secure the contents of e-mails sent and received, namely by using the public key and private key. The test results show that the OpenPGP  method works well for the security of the email sending/receiving system on a multi-mail server.

Abstract

COVID-19 has become a world concern because of the spread and number of cases that have befallen the world. Medical workers are the first exposed group because they have direct contact with patients. So, a vehicle is needed to replace tasks such as logistics, delivery, and patient waste transportation. An autonomous wheeled mobile robot (AWMR) is a wheeled robot capable of moving freely from one place to another. AWMR is required to have good navigation and trajectory control skills. The purpose of this study is to develop an AWMR navigation system model based on the simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) algorithm, accurately in a dynamic environment. With this research, developing a good navigation and trajectory method for AWMR, in the future, it can be applied to produce an AWMR platform for multipurpose. This research was conducted in two stages of development. The first year is the research that is currently being carried out, focused on sensor modeling, designing SLAM-based navigation models, and making navigation system testbeds. This research produces a trajectory navigation and control system that can be implemented on an AWMR platform for the purposes of logistics, transportation, and patient waste in hospitals.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) yang dilaksanakan di masjid Chengho Desa desa Sitiarjo Kabupaten Malang bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan teknologi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) sebagai sumber energi alternatif. PLTS ini dipasang pada area masjid Chengho untuk menggantikan listrik PLN yang tidak stabil. Mitra memerlukan PLTS untuk menjamin beroperasinya pompa air, pengeras suara dan lampu, sehingga warga sekitar masjid dapat beribadah dengan lebih khidmat dan mendapatkan sanitsasi yang lebih layak. Pengabdian ini melibatkan masyarakat dalam kegiatan instalasi, pengoperasian, perawatan dan pemeliharaan teknologi PLTS, serta edukasi terkait manfaat energi matahari dalam mengurangi pemanasan global. Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari survei lokasi, sosialisasi, penerapan teknologi dan pelatihan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data primer terkait kebutuhan daya beban dan posisi titik penempatan panel surya. Hasil pengabdian membuktikan bahwa penerapaan PLTS mampu menggantikan listrik PLN dan mengurangi biaya operasional masjid, serta memunculkan citra masjid sebagai tempat ibadah yang ramah lingkungan. Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi percontohan bagi tempat ibadah lain di sekitar Kecamatan Sumbermanjing Wetan dalam menerapkan teknologi energi terbarukan sebagai upaya mendukung energi mandiri yang bersih dan pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal.

Abstract

Flood disasters have become more frequent and severe due to climate variability, posing significant threats to human lives, agriculture, and infrastructure. Effective disaster management and mitigation require accurate identification of flood-prone areas. This study develops an intelligent flood prediction system by integrating machine learning algorithms with geographic information systems (GIS) data to enhance flood risk assessment. The proposed system utilizes two machine learning models, including random forest (RF) and support vector machine (SVM), to predict flood-susceptible areas. The models are trained on historical flood data and GIS-derived features, including elevation, slope, topographic wetness index (TWI), aspect, and curvature. The dataset undergoes preprocessing, including normalization and feature selection, before being divided into training, validation, and test sets. The models are then trained and evaluated based on their predictive performance. Evaluation metrics, particularly the area under the curve (AUC), demonstrate that RF outperforms SVM in predicting flood-prone areas. RF achieves an accuracy of 82%, while SVM records a lower accuracy of 68%. The superior performance of RF is attributed to its ability to handle complex, nonlinear relationships in flood prediction. These results highlight the effectiveness of machine learning algorithms in flood susceptibility modeling and support the integration of data-driven techniques into flood and disaster risk reduction management strategies.
