Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui bagaimana penerapan media engine stand GL100 untuk meningkatan minat belajar Sistem Kepala Silinder di SMK Muhammadiyah Purworejo. (2) untuk mengetahui peningkatan minat belajar siswa setelah diterapkan media engine stand GL100 dalam proses pembelajaran.Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Pre-Eksperimental Design. Desain yanng digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-posttest design. Alur penelitian terdiri dari perencanaan- Pemeberian angket (pre-test)- Pemberian Perlakuan (Treatment)-Pemberian angket (Post-Test). Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kelas XI Teknik Sepeda Motor SMK Muhammadiyah Purwodadi tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis independent t test (uji t).Berdasar penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Media Engne Stand GL100 dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas XI Teknik Sepeda Motor SMK Muhammadiyah Purwodadi dalam kompetensi sistem kepaa silinder. Minat belajar siswa meningkat dengan kenaikan skor minat sebesar 5,59, setelah dilaksanakan pre-test dengan hasil rata-rata 60,75 dan rata-rata skor minat seteah di beri perlakuan (Post-Test) adalah 66,68.Kata kunci : Penerapan Media,Engine Stand,Minat Belajar

Abstract

Strengthening student literacy is one of the important aspects in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. Literacy is not only the ability to read and write, but also the ability to understand, analyze, and apply information. In this case, the role of teachers is also very much needed. The ability of teachers to manage and implement the learning process or the process of strengthening literacy is also very much needed. Therefore, it is necessary to have an understanding and mastery of various innovative approaches to improve students' literacy skills. This article aims to describe how teachers can apply various innovative approaches in order to improve student literacy at SMA N 6 Purworejo. The method of community service activities is carried out in the form of socialization, discussion and question and answer. The results of community service activities, various innovative approaches that can be applied by teachers, including, namely, innovating teacher involvement in reading activities before learning, involving technology in literacy learning, implementing project-based learning, and implementing collaborative approaches and thematic learning in the learning process.
