Abstract

College students in metropolitan cities like Surabaya are high in the use of disposable products. Consumptive lifestyles, a culture of hanging out, coffee lifestyle, efficiency and low production costs cause companies to produce disposable products. The problem arises of waste and to handle it college students as agents of change do campaign for the use of reusable products. after that eco product company was present andt produced reusable products. By looking at consumer behavior in metropolitan cities and lifestyle in modern society, the company produces reusable products that are current to suit the needs. Such as stainless straw, tumblr, tote bag, cloth mask and other reusable products. Furthermore, the use of reusable products is increasingly being intensified and starting become lifestyle. This research have purpose to find out or determine the motives of colleger in using reusable products with descriptive quantitative methods. With sample of 348 college students from universities and colleges in Surabaya. Questionnaires were distributed with non-probability sampling. Used a Likert scale and analyzed with the mean. Motive variables are divided into four, namely product motifs, patronage motifs, emotional motives and rational motives. From the results of data processing found that college students have different motives in make use of reusable products. It was concluded that the motif with the highest value with 84,8% is the product motif that shows conformity to the needs. Then the patronage motif, means that students have consideration in using it. The third rational motive, the use of reusable products with rational reasons such as to protect the environment, more saving, efficient, and because it is durable. The last emotional motive, shows something that affects individuals using products without rational reasons such as feeling present, cool, influenced by an idol, achieving comfort, because the product is unique and cute, and to achieve pleasure.

Abstract

Sail to Indonesia 2019 in Bawean Island is a program implemented by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with yacht rally organizer from New Zealand. Sail to Indonesia has the purpose  to develop tourism sector, especially maritime tourism in the area that is the path and center of Sail to Indonesia.  Sail to Indonesia 2019, Yachters sailed in 10 places in Indonesia for three months, one of that in Bawean Island and Bawean Island became the only place in East Java which was visited by the Yachters. This research uses descriptive qualitative method that aims to analyze and determine the formation of the Sail to Indonesia 2019 image on Bawean Island as an effort to increase tourist visits. The results of this study concluded that the Department of Tourism & Culture of Gresik in forming the image of Bawean Island not only applied the theory of uniqueness of events according to Getz such as hospitality, symboliysm, authenticity, theming, and festive spirit, but also there is an element of convenience. Department of Tourism & Culture of Gresik did efforts to increasing tourist visits are by using wish images to maximize expectations of Bawean Island so as to provide the best service during activities. In addition, through the current image, tourists will tell all their best experiences and memories while on Bawean Island with word of mouth marketing.

Abstract

Broadcast programs owned by radio mass media, interactive dialogue broadcasts are broadcast programs that are also owned by the mass media, one of which is radio broadcasts. Interactive dialogue program is a conversation that is carried out in television or radio mass media, which can involve viewers and listeners by telephone or message on social media or other communication tools so that they can interact with sources in the studio. The selected speakers are people who know exactly about the information they want to convey. This interactive radio model is truly capable of providing effective information to listeners. The method of this service activity is by giving training to students of SMK 1 Blitar namely in the direction of TP3R (Radio Program Broadcasting and Production Techniques). During the activity, participants actively follow the material and practice in an interactive dialogue. The enthusiasm of the participants in the event was able to develop the abilities of participants in radio management management by using interactive models as a form of community aspirations in the mass media. The result was that students participated in training in interactive dialogue material, lasung practice, and evaluation of interactive radio programs.

Abstract

The new model of developing electronic democracy through e-democracy makes local democracy very dynamic. The level of public trust in radio is very high with an indicator of the number of community members who voluntarily inform all incidents in Blitar City and Regency. This new concept in the framework of radio journalism is referred to as citizen journalism. This study intends to develop a tripartite model of local democracy between the information giver (complainant), the handling agency (the agency complained) and the media (radio) as a bridge in solving the problem. So far the research method used is using qualitative methods with emphasis on participatory aspects. Radio owners, program directors, reporters and listeners who complain are the core informants in this study. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling using data or source triangulation and theory triangulation as a test tool. The results of this study are in the form of the city langlang program as a forum for public discussion on air in the form of complainants reporting their problems to the radio through sms, telephone, e-mail and social media. The model developed is not only on air but also off water, so that complainants can communicate with related parties via the Mayangkara FM radio bridge.

Abstract

Abstract— General election to be one of public concern because in the process leaders will be selected both at the executive and legislative levels. Television media makes the implementation of elections as the content of choice to be broadcast to the public. If the national election is packaged in a broadcast program on national television, then the holding of regional head elections or local elections becomes the material for broadcast programs on local television. East Java is the province that held simultaneous regional elections in 2018, both the election of the Governor and the election of Regents and Mayors. This moment was then managed by TV9, which was one of the local televisions in East Java to present a dialogue program called Ruang Pilkada. From this background, the researcher wanted to find out how the results of the discussion presented in the broadcast program were related to the East Java elections. Talks from the speakers were important to describe as references to the next election. This study uses a case study method and collects data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The result is that the regional election broadcast program can provide an overview of the implementation of the election in accordance with the expected stages and processes of democracy. The discourse in the broadcast program is a reference that the socialization and discussion that educates the public will have an impact on the implementation of a safe and dignified local election. Keywords—: broadcast media; television program; East Java regional election;TV9.

Abstract

This study looks at the effect of YouTube Nihongo Mantappu exposure toward Dharma Wanita 8 Waru Middle School students' interest in learning mathematics. The applied method was an experimental method with a questionnaire used as a research instrument. The type of experiment used is The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study used all 7th, 8th, and 9th-grade students of Dharma Wanita 8 Waru Middle School as the population. The sample in this study amounted to 54 students of Dharma Wanita 8 Waru Middle School, which were determined through the total sampling technique because the population was less than 100 people. The data analysis method used is the Paired Sample T-Test, tested using SPSS Statistics 26. The hypothesis formulated in this study is accepted. This study showed an increase in Dharma Wanita 8 Waru Middle School students' interest in learning mathematics after receiving YouTube Nihongo Mantappu exposure.
