Many studies show that student worksheets can be suitable teaching materials to achieve learning objectives, whether at school or college. Also, college student worksheets can make it easier for students to learn computing-based lessons. This study aims to design and develop worksheets and integrate them with computational thinking (CT) skills in computer programming courses. The material intended to be used as a worksheet is how to simulate electromagnetic waves (EM). This worksheet is also designed with group activities and is expected to improve collaboration skills between college students. This study uses research and development (R&D) methods with the 4D model approach but does not do the fourth stage, dissemination. The worksheet developed has six main elements: (1) titles, (2) study guides, (3) essential competencies, (4) subject matter or supporting information, (5) tasks or work steps, and (6) student assessments. The resulting worksheet products have also been assessed by peers and declared worthy as teaching materials. In addition, the resulting worksheet has shown the steps in CT, namely, abstraction, algorithm, and generalization.

This study aims to disclose how virtual reality technology has been applied to studies of learning and the possibility of virtual reality by reviewing studies that have employed the virtual reality approach. A total of 15 papers were selected from the Scopus Index database from 2015 to 2020. Content analysis showed that virtual reality and physics learning had received the most attention under the theme of student perception, especially in self-efficacy and experience, followed by satisfaction, motivation, and engagement. Trends of research development show that the use of virtual reality has proliferated recently. Moreover, HTC Vive is the most powerful device to conduct the VR study for the tool device. This study concludes that virtual reality technology provides a promising media for educational researchers.

This study aims to determine the effect of the principal's managerial skills and the provision of rewards on teacher performance through teacher motivation. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 100 with a total sampling technique of sampling. The data in this study were processed using path analysis or path analysis assisted by the Smart PLS program. The results showed that partially managerial skills affect teacher performance as well as work motivation. Partially giving rewards also affect teacher performance and work motivation. Another result of the path analysis test found that indirectly motivation can affect the relationship between managerial skills on teacher performance as well as giving rewards to teacher performance. These results illustrate that the presence of good principal managerial skills and the provision of appropriate rewards can increase teacher motivation so that it also has an impact on maximum work results.

Abstrak Kualitas kegiatan proses belajar mengajar akan dapat diukur derygan menggunakan dokumen administrasi yang ada, salah satunya dokumen kehadiran atau absensi. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan sistem informasi yang dikhususkan untuk pengelolaan data absensi serta pelaporannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Advent Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan cara mengumpulkan data, menganalisa data yang didapat, kemudian disajikan kembali dalam bentuk yang telah di perbaharui. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara penelitian lapangan dan studi kepustakaan. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, maka di ketahui bahwa sistem informasi yang sedang digunakan Universitas Advent Indonesia Bandung memerlukan pembaharuan terutama dalam hal pengolahan data serta pembuatan laporan data. Maka penulis merancang sistem informasi baru yang dibutuhkan. Dengan demikian maka penulis berharap bahwa sistem informasi yang dibuat dapat berguna untuk berbagai pihak terutama Universitas Advent lndonesia. Â Absract The quality of teaching and learning process activities can be measured using existing administrative documents, one of the document is the presence or absence. In this study the desiqn of information systems dedicated to data management and reporting absences. The research was conducted at the Adventist University of Indonesia. The research method used is by collecting data, analyzing the data obtained, then restated in a form that has been refurbished. Techniques of data collection is done by way of field research and literature study. From the result pf research conducted, it is in the know that information systems are being used at Adventist University of Indonesia require renewal, especially in terms of data processing and data reporting. So the authors designed a new information system is needed. Thus, the authors hope that the information system that can be useful for various parties, especially the Adventist University of Indonesia.

Abstrak Kemajuan teknologi informasi telah mempengaruhi gaya, kebutuhan, dan lingkungan hidup manusia. Kehadiran teknologi wireless mewujudkan mobilitas yang tinggi pada setiap kalangan masyarakat. Ditandai dengan meningkatnya produksi handphone yang menjadikan wireless sebagai fasilitas standard. Komunikasi data diperlukan untuk setiap kegiatan telekomunikasi. Keanekaragaman keperluan untuk berkomunikasi khususnya dalam komunikasiteks atau chattingakan memberikan sarana yang efektif. Aplikasi chatting yang dibangun menggunakan wireless sebagai media komunikasi data. Sinkronisasi data dibutuhkan pada aplikasi untuk mencegah kesalahan dalam pengiriman ataupun penerimaan data dalam sesi chatting. Selain dilakukan sinkronisasi diperlukan pengaturan wireless pada kedua ponsel agar dapat saling terhubung dan melakukan komunikasi satu dengan lainnya. Metode point to point digunakan dalam aplikasi ini sehingga memungkinkan dua user saling terhubung satu sama lain untuk mengirim dan menerima pesan teks. Kecepatan dalam setiap pengiriman dan penerimaan pesan teks sangat tergantung pada kemampuan wrreless yang ada pada handphone pengg una masing-masing. Aplikasi yang dibangun dalam penelitian ini adalah aplikasi pada handphone, yang dibangun dengan J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition). Segala keunggulan dari Java membuat aplikasi ini sangat ringan dengan kemampuan yang maksimal. Aplikasi ini telah berjalan dengan baik, Diharapkan penelitian yang akan datang dapat menambah fitur-fitur dalam aplikasi chatting sehingga lebih dinamis, user friendly, dan dapat menyimpan sesi chattingyang sudah terjadi sehingga dapat ditampilkan kembali saat diperlukan. Â Abstract Advances in information technology have affected the style, needs, and the human environment. Presence of wireless technology to realize high mobility in any society. Characterized by an increased production of cell phones that make wireless as standard facilities. Communications data is required for every telecommunication activities. Diversity needs to communicate; especially in communication or chat text will provide an effective means. Chat application built using wireless as a medium for data communication. Data synchronization is required on the application to prevent errors in transmission or reception of data in a chat session. In addition to synchronization, it is necessary wireless settings on both phones to connect and communicate each other. Point to point method used in this application that allows two users are connected to each other to send and receive text messages. Speed in each sending and receiving text messages is highly dependenton the abilityof existing wireless phone users in each. The Applications built in this research is the application on the phone, which was built with J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition). All the advantages of Java make it very lightweight application with a maximum capability. This application has been running well, hopefully future studies can add features in the chat application making it more dynamic, user friendly, and can save the chat sessions that have occurred so that it can be displayed again when needed.

Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang demikian pesat membuat teknologi informasi telah menyentuh seluruh bidang dalam kehidupan manusia sehari-sehari. Organisasi-organisasi yang ada dari berbagai bidang industri telah memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk mendukung kegiatan organisasi yang mereka jalankan. Universitas Advent Indonesia (UNAI) sebagai sebuah lembaga pendidikan juga telah memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk mendukung kegiatan nya sehari-hari. Dari sudut pandang manajemen, teknologi informasi dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mendukung proses manajemen baik pada level operasional, manajerial maupun strategis. Manfaat yang diperoleh dari penggunaan ini sangat tergantung pada level manajemen mana yang didukung oleh teknologi informasinya. Selain itu, peranan teknologi informasi juga dapat berbeda-beda dalam organisasi tergantung pada industri dimana organisasi itu berada. Penelitian rni bertujuan untuk memetakan peranan teknologi informasi dalam proses manajemen lembaga pendidikan khususnya Universitas Advent Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan untuk menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan strategi teknologi informasi UNAI dan juga sebagai dasar untuk memaksimalkan manfaat manajemen dari sistem informasiyang sudah ada. Â Abstract Development of information technology so rapidly making information technology has been used in all areas of people's daily lives. Existing organizations from various industries have been using information technology to support the activities of the organizations, Adventist University of Indonesia (Unai) as an education institution has been using information technology to support organization's daily activities. From the perspective of manag:ment, information technology can be utilized to support the process of management, not only at the operational and managerial but also at strategic level. The benefits of information technology highly dependent on which management level is supported by information technology, In addition, the role of technology information can also vary within an organization depends on the industry in which the organization is running. The research aims to mapping the role of information technology in management of educational institutions, especially the Adventist University of Indonesia. The result of research is expected to be used as a reference in the development of UNAI information technology strategy and also as a base to maximize the benefits of management information systems that already exist.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh sistem informasi akuntansi dan pengendalian internal terhadap kinerja karyawan pada GMAHK Uni Indonesia Kawasan Barat. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei yang diselesaikan oleh peserta yang bekerja di GMAHK Uni Indonesia Kawasan Barat pada bulan Maret 2024. 50 kuesioner dikembalikan dengan lengkap dan mudah dikelola. Analisisnya menggunakan metode kuadrat terkecil biasa dengan convenience sampling sebagai bagian dari prosedur pengambilan sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi akuntansi tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan di GMAHK Uni Indonesia Kawasan Barat, sedangkan pengendalian internal memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di GMAHK Uni Indonesia Kawasan Barat. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meningkatkan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam akuntansi sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dan meningkatkan efisiensi GMAHK Uni Indonesia Kawasan Barat.

The aim of this research is to analyze and prove the influence of Job Stress and Coworkers on the performance of nurses at Adent Hospital Medan. This research will also prove the moderating effect of compensation on the relationship between Job Stress and co-workers on performance. The population in this study were 150 permanent nurses who worked at the Medan Adventist Hospital. The sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling, obtaining a sample of 109 respondents. Data analysis techniques use multiple regression with t-test (partial test), F test (simultaneous test) and coefficient of determination test (R2) as well as moderating analysis using residual analysis. The results of this study prove that Job Stress and co-worker variables simultaneously influence nurse performance. Partial testing proves that the Job Stress variable influences nurse performance, as well as the individual Co Workers variable influences nurse performance. Moderation testing using the residual test proves that compensation is able to moderate the relationship between Job Stress and coworkers on nurse performance. The implications of the results of this research are able to prove that the importance of Job Stress management and co-workers in improving nurse performance is strengthened by compensation.

This study aims to determine whether Individual Characteristics and Employee Engagement affect the Turnover Intention of Hotel employees in Medan. The design of this study is quantitative, namely research to identify and show the influence of one variable on other variables. The study population included all hotel employees in Medan, totalling 211 people. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling. This study's sample was all employees with permanent status at 3-star Hotels in Medan, totalling 68 respondents. This study used descriptive data analysis techniques and multiple regression analysis with the T-test (partial test), F-test (simultaneous test), and coefficient of determination test (R2). The tool in this data analysis test uses multiple linear regression models. The results of this study prove that individual Individual Characteristics significantly influence the Turnover Intention of Hotel employees in Medan. Employee engagement significantly influences the turnover intention of hotel employees in Medan. The results of simultaneous testing prove that Individual Characteristics and Employee Engagement simultaneously affect the Turnover Intention of Hotel employees in Medan.
