Abstract

This research development aims to produce an effective learning media which is more effective to fulfil the needs of teachers and students in the teaching and learning process in schools. Learning Media which was produced in the form of teaching materials in the subject history. The teaching material is about the biography of Raden Inten II to improve critical thinking skills and strengthening the character of the students in SMAN 2 Sekampung.This type of research is to develop the teaching media using a model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation , Evaluation) . Population in this research is class XI IPS SMAN 2 Sekampung. The sample of this study is implemented in three classes, they were class XI IPS 1 as an experimental class, a class XI IPS 2 as the control class, and class XI IPS 3 as the trials class.The results showed that: (1) the teaching media of history at SMAN 2 Sekampung used is student worksheets, handbook and textbooks; (2) teaching materials of history in high school about the biography of Raden Inten II made through model of ADDIE and generate materials teaching media to form a module that has undergone numerous revisions and has been validated by the experts of media and the expert of materials and subsequently successfully tested in the classroom of XI IPS 3 SMAN 2 Sekampung, (3) test of the effectiveness in teaching material history of biography Raden Inten II is done by comparing the value of post-test experimental class and control class with a significance level of 5% and result of students’ ability to have critical think. It was proved from thit 3,700> 2,756 ttab and the strengthening of character with thit 4,168> 1,697 ttab. Therefore, H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that the teaching media of history in the form of teaching materials about the history of biography Raden Inten II is effective to improve critical thinking skills and strengthening the character of the students SMAN 2 Sekampung.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the benefit of cooperative type study type study (GI) method in improving motivation of IPS learning History in grade VIII B students of SMP PGRI 4 Denpasar and to know the benefit of cooperative type study type study (GI) method in improving learning result of IPS History on grade VIII B students SMP PGRI 4 Denpasar The results showed that there is a real difference. Cooperative learning method type Group investigation (GI) can be applied to students of class VIII B SMP PGRI 4 Denpasar. this method can improve students' learning motivation. this is evident from the observation in the first cycle of meeting I reached 28, 21. meeting II 30.0 and meeting III reached 30.5, not only limited to the increase also occurred in cycle II At the meeting I where the result reached 31.39, II 34.17 and meeting III 35.25. see the results of observations that are obtained means the enthusiasm of students in following IPS learning becomes better by using model of learning model. Application of cooperative learning model Group Investigation (GI) can improve learning outcomes in students of grade VIII B SMP PGRI 4 Denpasar.This is seen in the improvement in terms of student learning outcomes that occur positively, meaning the enthusiasm of students in the process of instructional learning on the achievement of learning objectives and results of good student value, it is seen in the implementation of the stage that researchers do, where the cycle I to reach the average average 82.5%, absorption 82.5% and mastery learning reaches 72.5% and increases in cycle II to average 86.25%, absorption 82.25% and learning completeness reaches 100%. the increase in learning outcomes is inseparable from the students' ability to continue being taught at each meeting. hai is increasingly proves that the model of learning in applied to improve the spirit of learning in the subjects of IPS History, So it can be concluded that the model study group investigation can improve learning motivation and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic period was a special condition that caused different learning drawbacks and learning losses in the achievement of student competencies. In addition to learning losses, many national and international studies state that Indonesia has also experienced a learning crisis for a long time. Therefore, it is necessary to change the curriculum so that educational institutions are able to improve the quality of education. This research was conducted to improve the understanding of teachers as participants in the independent learning curriculum training. This study found that teachers’ understanding increased significantly after being given training on the independent learning curriculum. The results of this study imply that intensive training is needed on the concept of implementing the independent learning curriculum so that teachers can carry out more effective learning.

Abstract

Assisting teachers in developing innovative modules is crucial for optimizing the government's policy on independent learning as expected. The Mahasaraswati University Denpasar service team supported teachers using the Brainstorming, Exploring, Talking about, and Playing (BETA) method, combining lectures and demonstrations. This activity aims to guide teachers in producing teaching modules students can use. The service results showed that 85% of the teachers successfully created learning modules in their respective fields, while 15% still needed more time to complete their modules. Based on a Likert scale questionnaire, participant satisfaction with the team's performance in assisting was as follows: 0 very dissatisfied, two dissatisfied, 20 satisfied, and 12 very satisfied. Based on the above data, the module creation training for teachers is effective and very positive to continue and improve.

Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi menuntut guru untuk mampu mengintegrasikan media digital dalam proses pembelajaran, salah satunya adalah penilaian, khususnya dalam model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Namun,  banyak guru di SMA Negeri 9 Denpasar masih mengalami kendala dalam mengembangkan media penilaian. Dalam menilai proyek, para guru masih menggunakan penilaian konvensional yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam memonitoring siswa dalam mengerjakan tugas berbasis proyek. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang secara mandiri dan memanfaatkan media penilaian PjBL berbasis website sebagai opsi media penilaian alternatif. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan site-based teacher profesional program dalam bentuk lokakarya meliputi diskusi interaktif konsep penilaian PjBL dan pemanfaatan website sebagai media penilaian tugas berbasis PjBL, serta praktik langsung pembuatan media penilaian menggunakan platform Google Sites. Pelaksanaan pengabdian pada 9 Juli 2025 di aula SMA Negeri 9 Denpasar.  Peserta terdiri atas 63 guru dari berbagai mata pelajaran.  Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peserta berhasil mengembangkan media penilaian PjBL berbasis website sesuai kebutuhan mata pelajaran masing-masing. Produk yang dihasilkan mencakup rubrik penilaian, halaman pengumpulan tugas, monitoring proses proyek, dan rubrik penilaian teman sejawat. sistem umpan balik online. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan guru di SMA Negeri 9 Denpasar mengalami peningkatan kompetensi dalam mengenmbangkan media penilaian Project Based Learning secara mandiri  yang akan memudahkan guru dalam memonitoring proses dan hasil proyek siswa. Kata kunci: guru, lokakarya; media penilaian; project based learning; website. AbstractTechnological developments require teachers to be able to integrate digital media into the learning process, one of which is assessment, particularly in the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. However, many teachers at Denpasar State Senior High School 9 still face challenges in developing assessment media. When assessing projects, teachers still use conventional assessment methods, which have limitations in monitoring students as they work on project-based tasks. This community service activity aims to enhance teachers' competencies in independently designing and utilizing PjBL assessment media based on websites as an alternative assessment medium. The implementation method employs a site-based teacher professional development program in the form of workshops, including interactive discussions on PjBL assessment concepts and the use of websites as assessment tools for PjBL-based tasks, as well as hands-on practice in creating assessment tools using the Google Sites platform. The community service program will be held on July 9 2025, in the auditorium of SMA Negeri 9 Denpasar . Participants consisted of 63 teachers from various subjects. The results of the activity showed that participants successfully developed website-based PjBL assessment media according to the needs of their respective subjects. The products produced include assessment rubrics, assignment submission pages, project process monitoring, peer assessment rubrics, and an online feedback system. Thus, it can be concluded that teachers at SMA Negeri 9 Denpasar have improved their competence in independently developing project-based learning assessment media, which will facilitate teachers in monitoring the process and results of student projects Keywords: workshop; assessment media; project-based learning; website; teacher.
