The aim of these research was to get the data how Imaginative Technique Method can improve students’ writing ability on descriptive text at second grade MTs. Muhammadiyah Sidomulyo with target achieved 75% from number of students at second grade average 70. The research is class room research (CAR). Subject of this research is students’ second grade. The instruments of this research are test and observation sheet. The technique of analysis got by formula total students’ completeness divided total students’ multiplied one hundred percent. The result of this research point out Imaginative Technique method can improve students’ writing ability on descriptive text at second grade. This research carried out in two cycles where each cycle consists from two meeting. Cycle I grade average of students get 69.2 and cycle II grade average of student get 75.4. Keywords: Writing Ability, Descriptive Text, Imaginative Technique.

The goal of the study is to increase students' writing skills in descriptive writings by incorporating realia media into the classroom. The study makes use of action research in the classroom (CAR). In this study, the tool of investigation is the Test and Observation Sheet. The outcome of the investigation. The study discovered that using realia media may help students enhance their writing skills while producing descriptive texts. It is possible to draw the conclusion that there has been an improvement based on the results of the study that was conducted in two cycles (cycle I and cycle II). After being educated via the use of realia media, the student's ability to write descriptive language improves significantly. The use of realia as a medium for improving students' ability to write descriptive texts proved to be quite beneficial. According to the significant result percentage of students score in the pre-test (14 percent), cycle I (43 percent), and cycle II (50 percent), it was supported (81 percent ).

This study aims to determine 1) the effect of trading time on the income of street vendors in Gorontalo City, 2) the effect of business time on the income of street vendors in Gorontalo City and 3) the effect of business capital on the income of street vendors in Gorontalo City. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach involving 31 street vendors in Gorontalo City as respondents. The data used are primary data obtained from a questionnaire with Likert scale criteria. The analysis technique uses multiple regression followed by partial hypothesis testing (t test) and simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test), while the data processing used is SPSS version 16. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of trading time, business time and business return as independent variables simultaneously (together) on the income of street vendors as the dependent variable. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peningkatan investor terhadap jumlah transaksi saham di galeri investasi bursa efek Indonesia Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Data dalam penelitian ini bersumber dari galeri investasi bursa efek Indonesia Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa peningkatan investor tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap jumlah transaksi saham di galeri investasi bursa efek Indonesia Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Hal ini berarti bahwa investor yang mengalami peningkatan tidak begitu besar dampaknya dalam meningkatkan jumlah transaksi saham di galeri investasi bursa efek Indonesia Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo karena adanya kecenderungan skeptis investor karena keuntungan (agio saham) dari transaksi saham yang kecil. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,199. Nilai ini berarti bahwa sebesar 19,90% jumlah transaksi saham di galeri investasi bursa efek Indonesia Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo dijelaskan oleh peningkatan investor. Sementara itu sebesar 80,10% menjadi pengaruh dari variabel lain terhadap jumlah transaksi saham seperti variabel keuntungan dari transaksi saham, waktu dalam melakukan aktivitas investasi saham, faktor teknikal yang mendukung, faktor fundamental saham yang mendukung dan faktor lainnya.

This research aims to enhance students' critical reading abilities by incorporating a metaphorming method based on local wisdom and utilizing flip applications in a Reading Skills course. The study employed a classroom action research approach, conducted over two cycles. Each cycle included four phases: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection methods included observations, tests, and questionnaires, which were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The findings revealed that integrating local wisdom-based metaphorming, specifically using Gorontalo folklore as teaching material, effectively improved students' critical reading skills. Additionally, the flip application served as an interactive learning medium, significantly boosting student engagement during the learning process. Student performance showed notable progress, with the percentage of those achieving the minimum passing grade increasing from 21.62% in the first cycle to 81.08% in the second cycle. This method demonstrated its effectiveness in enhancing both critical reading skills and students' motivation. The study recommends adopting similar approaches in other courses to foster students' critical thinking and creativity

Semiotic Analysis in Sherlock Holmes Film By Guy Ritchie .In this research, the researcher looks for meanings and symbols that appear in the film Sherlock Holmes by Guy Ritchie which has a close relationship with the Illuminati association. The method used by the researcher in his research is the semiotic method of Ferdinand de Saussure which has two factors in determining the meaning of a symbol, namely the signifier and the signified. The results of this study show and explain what symbols appear and what the meanings of these symbols are that are closely related to the Illuminati, which appear in the film Sherlock Holmes by Guy Ritchie where researchers find several symbols that clearly have a close relationship with the Illuminati in the form of the symbols that appear and the meanings contained in these symbols.

The aim of this research was to determine whether Learning Starts With A Question Method (LSQ) can improving Student’s Reading Comprehension in humor stories text at MTs Arafah Bitung. This research is action classroom research, carried out at MTs Arafah Bitung Class VIIIA. Measures used in this study are as follows: (1) action planning, (2) Implementation of the action, (3) Observation, (4) Reflection. The action sequences is called a cycle of activity. Activity in this study conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings. The technique collecting the data gained through observation guidelines teacher activities, student' activities and oral test. Data were analyzed by means of: The number of aspects obtained divided by the total aspects of assessment and then multiplied by one hundred percent. Based on the result of research before implementation of the action the number of students by 20 students. the average score is 41,8 and after the action cycle I increase to 66,6 and average score on the cycle II increased to 79,8. The total of student who achieve a minimum standard of completeness is also increasing. Before action is taken only 1 student (5%) who achieve a minimimun of completeness, at cycle I become 8 Students (40%), at the cycle II increased become 17 Students (85%). Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Humor Stories Text and throwing the Learning With A Questions (LSQ) can be one way or alternative way to teaching English. Especially to improve the students' reading comprehension.

This study investigates the influence of influencer-generated digital content on university students’ descriptive writing skills, with a focus on the role of sentiment and digital literacy. Employing a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected from 63 students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo and IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo using questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. Students’ perceptions of writing quality were analyzed in relation to their exposure to digital content with positive, neutral, and negative sentiment. The findings reveal a significant correlation between exposure to positive-sentiment content and perceived improvements in creativity, vocabulary use, and idea organization, while neutral and negative content is associated with more formal but less expressive writing. The study also indicates that digital literacy mediates how students adapt informal digital language to academic writing demands. These results suggest that integrating digital literacy into writing instruction is essential to help students navigate the influence of digital media on academic writing.
