Abstract

Parental support in improving the quality of education services in schools is needed. Awareness of the importance of quality education will help schools as education providers to realize quality education. There is a need for the support of the school committee as a forum for the participation of parents in education. This study wants to describe the implementation of the role and function of the school committee in supporting the improvement of education quality services at SMAN 9 Cirebon City. The data was collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The results showed that in general, the school committee of has school carried out all its roles and functions, although not yet optimal. School committees consider more related to school programs that need to be implemented but are not covered by school finances. Communication with alumni is well established and has even been able to contribute to the renovation of the school mosque. Efforts to provide non-financial support are carried out by establishing communication and comparative studies with other schools deemed to have a better quality infrastructure. The results of the comparative study are arranged in a priority program to support the progress of the quality of education services.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of family involvement program policies in the implementation of education at Pembina Sumber Kindergarten, Cirebon Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study model to analyze the implementation of the program according to the criteria. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews (depth interviews) and questionnaires which were first tested for validity with content validity techniques by experts (expert judgment). Data analysis was carried out by following the Miles and Hubberman model. The results showed that the implementation of the family and community involvement program in the implementation of education at the Pembina Sumber Kindergarten was carried out according to technical instructions. From the various planned programs, it is necessary to optimize the provision of library facilities in the form of a reading corner for parents. Empowerment of parents/guardians in inspiration classes as motivators/inspirers for students needs to be optimized. In conclusion, the family involvement program in the implementation of education at the Sumber Pembina Kindergarten is carried out according to Permendikbud No. 30 years 2017. Abstract

Student creativity is essential to improve. One thing that affects this is the teacher's professionalism because it is the main factor in the success of student learning so that it produces and develops creativity. This study aims to describe the factors that increase student creativity and teacher efforts to increase student creativity. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques were interviews with the subject teachers and principals, observation, and documentation. Furthermore, the technical data analysis used were data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that in the learning process, the teacher always plays a significant role so that students can develop their creativity. Four roles must be performed by the teacher: the teacher's role as a class manager; the teacher's role as an evaluator; the teacher's role as a facilitator; and the teacher's role as a demonstrator. In the learning process, the teacher always encourages his students. The teacher has also used learning media.
