Penjaminan mutu pendidikan di era otonomi daerah menjadi tanggung jawab penuh pemerintah daerah terutama Dinas Pendidikan yang menangani permasalahan pendidikan. Setiap daerah Kabupaten dan Kota tentunya memiliki kemampuan sumber daya alam dan manusia yang beragam, sehingga tak heran membuat keberagaman mutu lulusan. Setiap daerah mengembangkan mutu pendidikannya, agar kualitas lulusan memang benar-benar dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan kemajuan daerah. Mutu lulusan sangat berkontribusi terhadap kemajuan daerah dan hal ini merupakan tujuan dari otonomi daerah, dimana daerah diberikan kewenangan untuk mengembangkan potensi daerahnya masing-masing. Untuk itu diperlukan reformasi pendidikan Tuntutan reformasi yang amat penting adalah demokratisasi. Hal ini dapat ditanggapi dalam dua segi yaitu pemberdayaan masyarakat dan pemberdayaan pemerintah daerah (otonomi daerah). Pendidikan diselenggarakan sebagai suatu proses pembudayaan dan pemberdayaan peserta didik yang berlangsung sepanjang hayat dengan memberdayakan semua elemen masyarakat, melalui peran serta dalam penyelenggaraan dan pengendalian mutu pendidikan. Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Rejang Lebong juga harus meningkatkan mutu guru, kepala sekolah dan pengawas sekolah, agar mutu pendidikan di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong benar-benar-benar dapat memberikan kontribusi yang baik dalam pembangunan pendidikan Langkah Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Kabupaten Rejang Lebong, antara lain adalah : 1) menyusun program penjaminan mutu, 2) memilih instrumen (EDS) pengumpulan data, 3) mengumpulan/verifikasi data (internal/eksternal), 4) mengolah dan analisis data, 5) melaporkan temuan berbasis data, 6) menggunakan temuan untuk verifikasi pencapaian standar, 7) memilih prioritas kebutuhan untuk perbaikan mutu, 8) menyusun program dan anggaran perbaikan mutu, 9) melaksanakan program perbaikan mutu, 10) memonitor kegiatan perbaikan mutu, 11) melaporkan hasil perbaikan mutu, 12) menggunakan saran untuk perbaikan tahap berikutnya

The strategics plan is a guideline for a short plan.the strategic plan isnâ€™t as holy as the holy book till it couldnâ€™t be changed.depend on the route record of this strategics plan,it can be evaluated.for it implementation, RKA oftenly not according to the strategic plan. even it found that RKA is more priority than the strategic plan.so it considered like useless thing and it only needed if it necessary. component of agency performance appraisal, and the proo of the documentation for evidence itâ€™s realistic as same as planned (has a track record exist). Arranging the strategic plan of STAIN Curup process during 2015-2019 it started with mapping the activities until 2014. besides of this situation, it could be known all of the troubles and the defiances which it has influence the functions and the main assignment. more over, it needed the analysis about the influence of strategic environment which it involved. even it direct or indirect, with main assignment or a function, although it internal or external. the influence of internal strategic would be trasformated into the strength and the weakness, so the influence of external strategic will be transformating into the opportunities and the treath. By considering of this influence environment strategic change, it propose the rules of wisdom to reach the performanceâ€™s target inside arranging strategic plan of STAIN Curup 2015-2019. to clear the main assignment and it functionâ€™s way, the vision it would be formulated and described into yhe mission side.based on vision and mission, it formulated the purpose , target, priority,strategy and the wisdomâ€™s way. The strategic plan of STAIN Curup in 2015-2019 need to analyzed for get the understanding complex has been reached. began from analyzing the strategic planning, strategic plan and strategic management, analyzing design of organization as the initial supply to plan the strategic, analyze of building the capability of natural resource and evolving structural organization, analyze the payment and suspension organization system,analyze of matching the internal process and learn process in an organization,analyze centralization and decentralization inside strategic management,analyze the strategic when control and analyzing management change and organization learners. Supervisor berperan penting dalam mengawal mutu pendidikan dengan tugas untuk memastikan bahwa proses pembelajaran berjalan sesuai standar nasional pendidikan. Disamping itu membantu, membimbing dan mengarahkan guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Supervisi akademik oleh kepala sekolah berorientasi pada bimbingan terhadap guru melalui diskusi dan pengarahan bersama guru sehingga dalam pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran mengikuti tahapan yaitu perencanaan awal, pelaksanaan observasi dan tahap akhir. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan kegiatan supervisi dan penguasaan kompetensi SMK oleh peserta didik serta adaptasi strategis pada proses supervisi sehingga berpengaruh pada optimalisasi mutu pembelajaran dalam menghadapi tantangan perubahan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yang menjadi objek peneltian adalah kegiatan supervisi di SMKIT Khoiru Ummah dimasa Pandemi Covid-19. Dari hasil penelitaan ini ditemukan bahwa pentingnya kegiatan supervisi dan strategi adaptasi terutama dimasa pandemi Covid-19, pentingnya pembinaan oleh kepala sekolah sebagai kegiatan supervisi guna saling mendukung peningkatan kinerja dan keterampilan guru guna mengoptimalkan mutu pembelajaran. Kegiatan supervisi secara berkala dan adanya strategi adaptasi supervisi baik dari media pembelajaran maupun evaluasi hasil pembelajaran upaya mengoptimalkan mutu pembelajaran.

A qualified madrasah is strongly influenced by the leader’s role of the Madrasah per se because managerial abilities are a significant factor in determining the success of education. One of which is by making educational innovations at the Madrasah (school) that he leads. The head of a Madrasah that has seriousness and high working performance will be capable of making good innovations. Besides, such innovations should also be espoused by reliable managerial abilities in order to capably realize an effective, conducive, and dynamic Madrasah. This study sought to find out a depiction of the managerial innovations made by the principal of MIS of Lebong Tambang in Lebong Regency, Bengkulu, in an effort to maintain the existence of Madrasah he leads. This study used a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques deployed observation, interview, and documentation techniques, and then the data were analyzed in ways according to Miles, Haberman and Saldana. This study concluded that the principal together with all teachers strived to make innovations through: preparation of school planning; development of school organization; effective involvement of teachers and staffs at school; management of facilities and infrastructure; student management; curriculum development; and management of school financial and administration.

Parental support in improving the quality of education services in schools is needed. Awareness of the importance of quality education will help schools as education providers to realize quality education. There is a need for the support of the school committee as a forum for the participation of parents in education. This study wants to describe the implementation of the role and function of the school committee in supporting the improvement of education quality services at SMAN 9 Cirebon City. The data was collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The results showed that in general, the school committee of has school carried out all its roles and functions, although not yet optimal. School committees consider more related to school programs that need to be implemented but are not covered by school finances. Communication with alumni is well established and has even been able to contribute to the renovation of the school mosque. Efforts to provide non-financial support are carried out by establishing communication and comparative studies with other schools deemed to have a better quality infrastructure. The results of the comparative study are arranged in a priority program to support the progress of the quality of education services.

The government formed the Education Board to ensure the implementation of a democratic and quality education policy through community involvement as education stakeholders. By examining the achievement of the objectives of the establishment of the Education Board, this study wanted to see how the Education Board contributed to improving the quality of Education services in Cirebon District. This research was conducted qualitatively in 2019 with the method of data collection through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and document studies. The results showed that the Board of Education had not yet optimally contributed. The general public does not understand the existence of the Board of Education. Community participation in education that should be optimized through the School Committee has also not been optimally touched. Collaboration with industry has not been established so that the involvement of the Industrial Business World in the development of Education has not been optimal. The absence of rules regarding budget allocations for the implementation of the Education Board activities, resulting in the Education Board unable to work optimally.

Abstrak. Supervisi akademik Pengawas Sekolah adalah kegiatan pengawasan akademik yang dilakukan oleh pengawas satuan pendidikan terhadap guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, agar lebih profesional dalam bidangnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan supervisi akademik oleh Pengawas Sekolah sebagai upaya peningkatan profesionalisme guru SMP Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau, Pendekatan penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa (1) pelaksanaan supervisi akademik di SMP Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau dinilai dapat meningkatkan kinerja atau profesionalisme guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran; (2) Aspek- aspek yang disupervisi dinilai telah mengarah pada materi/sasaran supervisi akademik yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan guru/sekolah; (3) Teknik supervisi akademik yang digunakan cukup bervariasi; (4) Kendala pelaksanaan supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah adalah terbatasnya waktu; (5) Upaya yang dilakukan pengawas sekolah dinilai sudah cukup, namun tetap perlu ditingkatkan.Kata Kunci : Supervisi Akademik, Pengawas Sekolah, Profesionalisme, GuruAbstract: The implementation of school academic supervision is the academic supervision activity that is conducted by the supervisor of a school on teachers in doing their task , so that they can be more professional in their field. The purposes of this research is to know how is the implementation of academic supervision by the school supervisor as the effort to increase teachers’ professionalism at SMP Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau. This research is a qualitative approach by a descriptive method. The data are collected through interview, observation, and documentation. The result of the research shows that (1) the implementation of academic supervision at SMP N 1 Bengkayang can increase teachers’ works or professionalism in conducting teaching and learning; (2) The aspects that are supervised seem to go with the material/ the goal of the academic supervision that goes with the teachers’ or school need; (3) The supervision techniques are various; (4) The problem in conducting academic supervision by the supervisor is limited time; (5) The supervisor’s efforts is enough, but still need to be increase;Keywords : Academic supervision, School advisor, Professionalism, Teacher

This research is designed to expose the level of curiosity of students in learning in the aspects of interest, novelty seeking, openness of experience, and exploration. In particular, we will measure the differences in curiosity assessed from the points of semester level and gender. The study involved 234 students in their third, fifth, and seventh semesters in nine study programs at the University. Data was collected from the curiosity questionnaire in learning, consisting of 48 items on the Likert scale with a reliability of 0.886. The results showed the level of curiosity of students in the aspects of interest, novelty seeking, and openness of experience to be in the medium category and in the exploration aspect, in the low category. On the other hand, students in the third semester a had higher curiosity in learning compared to students in semesters five and seven, while studies on the gender aspect did not find substantial differences in students' curiosity in learning.

The objective of this study is to determine whether there is a direct or indirect effect of transformational leadership and self-efficacy on the performance of IAIN Curup lecturers. Based on pre-observation, the low frequency of lecturers' attendance which did not reach sixteen meetings, the difficulty to meet the Academic advisor for consultation, inappropriate expertise of lecturers, and some of the incompetent lecturers became the background leading the researchers to examine the performance of the IAIN Curup lecturers. In this study, there were three variables. A purposive sampling was used to involve all official lecturers as the participants, and they were 112 people. This study used a quantitative approach as the research methodology by applying a survey method with path analysis technique. This study used questionnaire as the data collection technique. The researchers had analyzed the instrument before it was distributed to the participants. The instrument was tested by using validity and reliability tests. Three hypotheses were tested. The results showed that transformational leadership had a direct, positive effect on job performance; self-efficacy had a direct, positive effect on the lecturers’ job performance; and the transformational leadership had a direct effect on self-efficacy.

The purpose of this study was to study the evaluation of the headmaster in improving the professionalism of MAS Al-Manshuriyah teachers. This research is a type of qualitative research consisting of research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or oral data from people and published. The form of the research is descriptive, that is the research conducted only to describe the state or status of a particular phenomenon. The results of the study, evaluation of the principal's policy in increasing the professionalism of teachers in carrying out their important tasks, appropriate policy considerations, will have an impact on improving the quality of teachers in carrying out their duties properly, but if the policies made are less precise, it will have an impact on improving the quality of teachers in carry out their duties properly. Conclusion, the principal's policy in increasing professional teachers in carrying out their duties went well, but there are some things that need to be updated, as well as policies that can be carried out properly, namely giving appropriate approval, the role of school supervisors and deliberations in relation to changes policies in improving teacher professionalism in carrying out their main tasks and functions properly Keywords: Policy Evaluation, Professionalism
