Abstract

Parental support in improving the quality of education services in schools is needed. Awareness of the importance of quality education will help schools as education providers to realize quality education. There is a need for the support of the school committee as a forum for the participation of parents in education. This study wants to describe the implementation of the role and function of the school committee in supporting the improvement of education quality services at SMAN 9 Cirebon City. The data was collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The results showed that in general, the school committee of has school carried out all its roles and functions, although not yet optimal. School committees consider more related to school programs that need to be implemented but are not covered by school finances. Communication with alumni is well established and has even been able to contribute to the renovation of the school mosque. Efforts to provide non-financial support are carried out by establishing communication and comparative studies with other schools deemed to have a better quality infrastructure. The results of the comparative study are arranged in a priority program to support the progress of the quality of education services.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) To know the position of quadrant of the PGSD FKIP UNU Cirebon study program using swot method, (2) to know short-term strategic alternatives that can be applied to PGSD FKIP UNU Cirebon based on SWOT Method. The research approach used is a qualitative case study model supported by quantitative data and descriptive explanations. Data collection technique using questionnaire that first performed validity test with expert judgement technique. Data analysis techniques using Miles and Hubberman models. The results showed that: (1) the PGSD study program was in the position of quadrant II with a strength value of 0.533 and a threat 0.314. (2) The strategy that needs to be done in the PGSD FKIP UNU Cirebon is to diversify the strategy. The research conclusions are: (1) the PGSD study program of UNU Cirebon is in a fairly stable condition of ornganization, but faces many obstacles (threats); (2) The diversification strategy that must be carried out is to include academic quality, implementation of The Tri Dharma of Higher Education, and human resources. Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of family involvement program policies in the implementation of education at Pembina Sumber Kindergarten, Cirebon Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study model to analyze the implementation of the program according to the criteria. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews (depth interviews) and questionnaires which were first tested for validity with content validity techniques by experts (expert judgment). Data analysis was carried out by following the Miles and Hubberman model. The results showed that the implementation of the family and community involvement program in the implementation of education at the Pembina Sumber Kindergarten was carried out according to technical instructions. From the various planned programs, it is necessary to optimize the provision of library facilities in the form of a reading corner for parents. Empowerment of parents/guardians in inspiration classes as motivators/inspirers for students needs to be optimized. In conclusion, the family involvement program in the implementation of education at the Sumber Pembina Kindergarten is carried out according to Permendikbud No. 30 years 2017. Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation on interest in physical education (PE) among eighth-grade students at SMPN 18 Kota Cirebon. Learning motivation is an important factor that encourages students to be more active and interested in the learning process, especially in PE, which requires both physical and mental involvement. Materials and method. This study employed a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 31 eighth-grade students from Class VIII A. Data collection instruments consisted of a closed-ended questionnaire using a Likert scale to measure motivation and learning interest levels before and after the intervention. The intervention involved instruction using the demonstration method. Data analysis was conducted using linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. Results. The results showed that learning motivation significantly influenced interest in physical education learning. The increase in motivation through the demonstration method was proven to enhance students' interest in participating in learning. Conclusions. Therefore, physical education teachers are advised to maximise the use of interactive learning methods such as demonstrations to encourage students' motivation and interest in learning.

Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to determine students' motivation in participating in futsal extracurricular activities at SMPN 18 Kota Cirebon, both from intrinsic and extrinsic aspects. Materials and Methods. The research design used was quantitative descriptive, with the aim of systematically, factually, and accurately describing students' motivation in participating in the activity. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to students participating in the futsal extracurricular activity, then analysed descriptively using percentages. Results. The results of the study indicate that students' motivation in participating in futsal extracurricular activities varies, with 3 students (12.5%) having very low motivation, 9 students (37.5%) having low motivation, 7 students (29.17%) having high motivation, and 5 students (20.83%) having very high motivation. Conclusion. Thus, it can be concluded that student motivation in participating in futsal extracurricular activities at SMPN 18 Kota Cirebon tends to be dominated by the low category, although some students show high and very high motivation.

Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to determine how extracurricular volleyball activities can develop students' interests and talents at SMP Negeri 8 Kota Cirebon. Volleyball is one of the sports that is quite popular among students, but it still faces obstacles such as limited facilities, competition among players, and a lack of focused coaching. Therefore, this study is important to explore the role of extracurricular activities in supporting students' potential. Materials and method. This research employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data was collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with students, coaches, and mentors, as well as documentation of volleyball extracurricular activities. The research subjects were seventh-grade students actively participating in volleyball extracurricular activities. Data were analysed inductively through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results. The results of the study indicate that volleyball extracurricular activities have a positive impact on increasing students' interest and developing their talents. Students become more enthusiastic, confident, and demonstrate improved technical skills in the game. Students' interest develops because the activities are designed to be enjoyable and supported by competent coaches. Additionally, these activities also strengthen social aspects such as cooperation, sportsmanship, and discipline. Conclutions. Factors supporting the success of interest and talent development include students' personal motivation, school environment support, and availability of training facilities.

Abstract

Study purpose. The purpose of this study is to implement the development of digital teaching materials on basic volleyball techniques at SDN 4 Sigong. The teaching materials resulting from the development research were tested for validity and usability. Materials and methods. This research was conducted from April to September 2024 at SDN 4 Sigong. The subjects of this research were expert lecturers and teachers of physical education and health. The instrument used for this research was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used percentage formulas. Results. The results of the study, as seen from the validation results, were 91.1% for physical education teachers, 95.5% for expert lecturers in physical education 1, 89.7% for expert lecturers in physical education 2, and 88.2% for physical education teachers. These percentages resulted in a final score of 91.1%. These percentages meet the criteria for high validity. These percentages meet the criteria for high validity. Conclusion. Thus, the teaching material on the basic technique of underhand volleyball passing can be used as alternative or supporting teaching material in teaching the basic techniques of volleyball to sixth-grade primary school students.

Abstract

Study purpose. The results of this experimental study can increase students motivation to learn physical education. The learning outcomes of students before and after being given treatment by applying the direct instruction learning model and the cooperative learning model to the learning outcomes of floor exercises. Materials and methods. The research method used in this study was experimental. Regarding the improvement in learning outcomes before and after applying the direct instruction learning model and the cooperative learning model to floor gymnastics learning outcomes, it can be seen that in the pre-test, which was conducted before applying the direct instruction learning model and the cooperative learning model to floor gymnastics learning outcomes, the average student learning score was 59 out of a maximum score of 71. Results. From the categorisation results, it can be shown that there were 1 student or 2.8% in the very low category, 29 students or 80.6% in the low category, 6 students or 16.7% in the medium category, and no students in the high and very high categories. Based on the categorisation results, it can be stated that the students' learning outcomes were low. This can be seen in the percentage value, which was highest in the low category because the class average score was only 64.81 out of a total of 36 students. Conclusion. Therefore, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes for floor exercises are homogeneous. Thus, the research hypothesis was tested using parametric statistics, namely the two-sample t-test and the paired t-test. These results also show that students who participated in direct instruction and cooperative learning models achieved good learning outcomes for floor exercises.
