Abstract

Mustard (Brassica juncea L.) is one of the most popular horticultural commodities. So it is necessary to increase the production of mustard plants by hydrophonic and using liquid organic fertilizer (LOF). In the hydroponic system, growth and development is very dependent on providing nutrients. The research was conducted in the village of Gampangsejati, Laren District, Lamongan Regency. The time of the study was carried out in February 2021 to June 2021. The study was carried out in a non-greenhouse. The study was conducted using a factorial randomized block design method which consisted of 3 levels, namely for factor 1 the fertilizer treatment used was AB Mix Nutrition, cow biourine LOF and goat manure LOF. Factor 2 varieties used are Sawi nauli, Sawi shinta and Sawi green. The results of the research that have been carried out are that the use of AB mix treatment showed the best growth and yield of mustard shinta, mustard nauli and mustard green plant varieties compared to cow biourine LOF and goat dung LOF treatments.

Abstract

Rice has become an important and strategic commodity. The decline in soil fertility is the cause of the low production of rice plants.The use of straw can increase the efficiency of the use of fertilizers (nitrogen), improve soil fertility by providing nutrients, especially (potassium), besides that it can improve the soil. The nutrient content of rice straw is 0.4% Nitrogen, 0.02% Phosphorus, 1.4% Potassium and 5.0% Silicon. The jajar legowo planting system is a new innovation in agriculture.This study aims to determine the best spacing between 2:1 and 4:1 jajar legowo system and to find out the best quality of processed straw from bokashi straw and burnt straw. This research was conducted in Pelangwot village, Laren sub-district, Lamongan district. January to April 2021. This research was conducted using a factorial randomized block design (RAK) method, which consisted of two factors and each factor consisted of 3 levels. From these two factors, 9 treatment combinations were obtained and repeated 3 times. Parameters observed in the vegetative phase include: plant height and number of leaves. Parameters observed in the generative phase include: wet weight of plants, panicle length. dry seed weight, dry seed weight per plot, 1000 seed weight The data obtained from the observations were calculated by analysis of variance with Fisher's exact test (F test at 5% and 1 level). If there is a significant difference, it will be continued with the Least Significant Difference test. The best results in this study were burnt straw treatment and 4:1 row spacing legowo

Abstract

Cabai rawit (Capsicum frutencens L.) merupakan salah satu jenis sayuran penting yang bernilai ekonomis tinggi dan cocok untuk di kembangkan di daerah tropica seperti di Indonesia. Upaya peningkatan produksi cabai rawit dengan memanfaatkan Kotoran kambing secara umum akan memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi kesuburan tanah dalam jangka waktu yang panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jarak tanam dan dosis pupuk kandang kambing terhadap pertumbuhan dan poduksi tanaman cabe rawit. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Lowayu Kecamatan Dukun Kabupaten Gresik. Ketinggian tempat ± 0-500 meter dpl. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari-Mei 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak kelompok (RAK). faktor perlakuan yaitu Pupuk kandang kambing dan Jarak tanam. Faktor Pupuk Kandang kambing terdiri dari 3 level yaitu: 0 t/ha, 5 t/ha, dan 10 t/ha. Faktor Jarak tanam terdiri dari 3 level yaitu: 50 x 50 cm, 50 x 60 cm, dan 50 x 70 cm. Indikator pertumbuhan dan produksi yang diamati meliputi: tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, diameter batang, jumlah bunga, jumlah buah, diameter buah, berat buah, berat buah per hektar. Analisa menggunakan analisa sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji BNT 5%. Hasil pengamatan dan perhitungan melalui analisa sidik ragam dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa yang memberikan produksi tinggi pada tanaman Cabai rawit yaitu perlakuan pupuk kandang kambing 10 t/ha (P3) dan Jarak tanam 50 x 70 cm (J3) dibandingkan dengan perlakuan yang lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh macam pupuk NPK dan mulsa plastik terhadap pertumbuhan dan peroduksi bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). Pelaksanaan penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Sidorejo Kecamatan Kedungadam Kabupaten Bojonegoro mulai bulan Maret sampai Mei 2021, pada tanah sawah pada ketinggian 42 meter dari permukaan laut. Varietas bawang merah yang digunakan adalah Nanjung, jarak tanam 13 13 cm dengan pemupukan sebanyak 500 kg pupuk NPK, 100 kg pupuk SP36, 120 kg pupuk Urea dan 60 kg pupuk KCL per hektar dan penggunaan mulsa plastik sesuai dengan perlakuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan pola Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor yang faktor pertama : macam pupuk NPK (P), yang terdiri dari tiga macam, yaitu P1 : Kontrol, P2 : 500 kg/h pupuk NPK merek (T) dan P3 : 500 kg/h pupuk NPK merek (D); sedangkan faktor kedua : Mulsa plastik (U), yang yerdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu U1 : Kontrol, U2 : Mulsa Perak dan U3 : Mulsa Hitam Perak.Hasil penelitian menunjukan interaksi terhadap Jumlah Anaan,Jumlah Daun, Tinggi Tanaman, Berat Basah, Berat Kering, Berat Umbi Sempel, Berat Umbi Perpetak dan Berat 100 Umbi. Bahwa perlakuan yang dominan pada tanaman bawang merah adalah 500 kg/h pupuk NPK merek (T) dan penggunaan perlakuan mulsa plastik perlakuan kontrol yang lebih dominan.

Abstract

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a very important cultivated plant for the people because more than half of the world's population depends on this plant as a main source of food. Organic rice cultivation systems and spacing systems need to be considered because the excessive use of chemical fertilizers causes the low ability of the soil to absorb water. In addition, the lack of education on the best spacing pattern causes a decrease in rice production.This research aims to determine the effect of the jajar legowo system on the treatment of the jajar legowo system and the dose of worm manure fertilizer on the growth and production of rice plant. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) method, which consisted of 2 factors, namely the worm manure fertilizer and the legowo row system. The best legowo line system is 2:1. In this treatment all parameters show high results. The best combination in all treatments was 9 t/ha of vermicompost and 2:1 spacing of jajar legowo.

Abstract

This research activity aims to determine the different doses of husk biochar and biourine on the growth and production of rice plants. The activity was carried out in Bulubrangsi Village, Laren, Lamongan, from February to May 2022. The design is Factorial RAK. The first factor was the different doses of biochar husk consisting of control or without biochar, 5 t/ha, 10 t/ha. The second factor was the type of biourine which consisted of no biourine, cow biourine, goat biourine. There were 9 treatment combinations with 3 repetitions. In the vegetative phase observed plant height and number of leaves while the generative phase was plant wet weight, panicle length, dry seed weight, dry seed weight per plot, 1000 seed weight. Data processing was analyzed using ANOVA, if there is a significant difference then proceed with the BNT test. The conclusion showed that there was an interaction between the various doses of biochar and biourine treatments on plant height aged 14 and 28 days after planting, number of tillers aged 14 and 42 days after planting. panicle length ages 63, 70, 77, and 84 dap, as well as grain weight per 1000 seeds, fresh weight per plot, and fresh weight per hectare. The best treatment combination was rice husk biochar 10 t/ha and goat biourine.

Abstract

Eggplant is a type of vegetable that is used as an ingredient in vegetables or fresh vegetables. The nutritional content of eggplant is very high, especially the content of vitamin A and phosphorus. However, eggplant productivity has decreased along with the lack of nutrients absorbed. Therefore, mulch and foliar fertilizer are the right innovations to be applied to support the eggplant. The existence of mulch to suppress the growth of weeds and the availability of nutrients N, P, and K in the soil. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of mulch and foliar fertilizer to the growth and production of eggplant plants. This research was conducted in Banjarejo Village, Kedungpring District, Lamongan Regency. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with a factorial pattern with 3 replications, consisting of 2 factors, namely: type of mulch (M) and leaf fertilizer (D). The first factor consisted of 3 types of mulch, namely: no mulch (M0), straw mulch (M1) and silver black plastic mulch (M2). The second factor of foliar fertilizer consisted of 3 levels, namely: growmore foliar fertilizer (D1), mamigro foliar fertilizer (D2), and gandasil D (M3) leaf fertilizer. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of mulch and foliar fertilizers on the growth and production of eggplant plants had an interaction between the treatment of mulch and foliar fertilizers on plant height (42 DAP), fruit diameter, plant weight, and fruit weight per hectare at the age of 77 DAP. The application of black silver plastic mulch and mamigro leaf fertilizer got the best results on the parameters of plant height, fruit diameter, plant weight and fruit weight per hectare.

Abstract

The utilization of trash fish is not optimal for animal feed, and the price falls during the main harvest. To increase the selling value, the fish processing technology is needed. This research aimed to determine the organoleptic and physical characteristics of bycatch fish nuggets with variations in fish species and flour concentration so the best formulations were obtained and chemical characteristics were known. This experiment research with two factors, the type of fish (A) and the ratio between fish and flour (B). Factor A, namely A1 (Peperek fish); A2 (Juwi fish); A3 (Tembang fish). Factor B, namely B1 (40: 60); B2 (50: 50); B3 (60: 40). Data processing uses SPSS version 20. If the results of the analysis of variance show significant differences, the Tukey test will be continued. Based on organoleptic results, bycatch fish nuggets still had a fairly good product reception by the panelist. The bigger addition of flour affected the brighter color and harder texture. Based on the effectiveness test of this research, the best formulation nugget was the A2B1 formulation (Juwi fish nuggets with 40:60 fish and flour formulations as fillers) with an effective value of 5,78. The best formulation bycatch fish nugget had a water content of 58.99%; ash content of 1.50%; fat content of 1.11%; protein content of 8.55%; and carbohydrate content of 29.85%. These values were following the standards set by SNI 7758-2013 about fish nuggets

Abstract

Desa Weru merupakan desa yang kaya sumber hasil perikanan untuk wilayah Lamongan. Program ini bertujuan untuk melakukan sosialisasi pembuatan produk olahan ikan rucah yaitu nugget dan bakso ikan. Kegiatan ini salah satu upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi keluarga dan peningkatan pendapatan keluarga. Data dan informasi dari kegiatan pengabdian ini diperoleh melalui pengamatan (observasi) dan wawancara. Metode yang digunakan berupa metode PLA (Participatory Learning and Action). Kegiatan pengabdian ini dihadiri 70 warga desa Weru. Proses pembuatan produk yang mudah diterapkan oleh setiap keluarga desa Weru. Nilai rerata post-tes pada kegiatan ini sebesar 80.36% (nugget ikan) dan 76.48% (bakso ikan) terkait pengertian produk tersebut mulai dari pemahaman, cara pembuatan, sampai manfaatnya. Abstract

Onion plant growth is often limited by nutrient availability and environmental influences. In addition, the use of hoods as a plant protection technique is expected to create microenvironmental conditions favorable to growth. The purpose of the study was to assess the effectiveness of using various kinds of organic fertilizers and the application of hoods in increasing shallot production. Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) was used, which consisted of two factors. The first factor was the type of organic fertilizer, namely bokashi fertilizer, guano fertilizer, and cow fertilizer. The second factor was the hood, namely control, waring hoods, and plastic hoods. Observation parameters observed in the vegetative phase consisted of: number of leaves, plant height. While the generative phase consisted of: number of tubers, wet weight of tubers per sample, wet weight of tubers per plot, dry weight of tubers per sample, and dry weight of tubers per plot. The results of variance analysis showed significant differences in the parameters of plant height at 14, 21, 28 days, and the number of leaves at 14, 21 days. In all parameters observed, the hoods treatment in the generative phase showed no significant results. The results of the study obtained that the treatment of guano fetilizer without a hoods produced the best tuber weight.
