Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah sebuah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tipe-tipe deiksis yang terdapat pada terjemahan surat An Naba’ yang diterjemahkan oleh T. B. Irvings. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menganalisa semua kalimat atau kata-kata dalam terjemahan surat An Naba’. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 5 tipe deiksis, hanya ada 3 tipe deiksis yang sering di gunakan yaitu person deiksis, time deiksis dan place deiksis. Kata kunci: tipe-tipe deiksis, terjemah surat An Naba’

Abstract

ABSTRACT As stated in the research background, this research focuses on designing an English syllabus for students of Islamic Education Department. This study was conducted at Islamic Education Department at KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah University (UNWAHA), especially for the second semester students. The final product of this research is a set of English syllabus for Islamic Education courses in the second semester. This syllabus was specifically developed based on the students' needs for Islamic Education, as well as the needs of English lecturers at UNWAHA.The products of this research consist of an outline of the course (which involves course identity, course description, general course objectives, and meeting schedule), selection of topics and sub-topics, teaching goals (general and specific instructional goals), activities teaching and learning, time allocation, evaluation and assessment systems, and material sources and media. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to improve students’ English speaking skill at XI grade of State Islamic Senior High School 1 Jombang, East Java through the Outdoor Research method. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research were students of class XI Language major, State Islamic Senior High School 1 Jombang in 2019/2020 school year. Data collection techniques were tests and observations. The results of this research indicated an increase in students' speaking skill in English subjects. The increase can be seen from the percentage of mastery learning in the first cycle with an average value of 76.45 in the second cycle increased with an average value of 80, 48. Based on research that has been carried out that by applying the Outdoor Research method to students, can it can be concluded that it can improve English speaking skill or Speaking Skill in XI grade of State Islamic Senior High School 1 Jombang, Language major which has been demonstrated by the achievement of mastery learning outcomes. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Inggris atau speaking skill siswa kelas XI jurusan Bahasa MAN 1 Jombang, Jawa Timur melalui metode Outdoor Research. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Bahasa Man 1 Jombang tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah Tes dan Observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Inggris siswa. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari presentase ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 76,45 dan pada siklus II meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 80, 48. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan dapat di simpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan metode Outdoor Research pada siswa dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Inggris atau Speaking Skill pada siswa kelas XI Bahasa MAN 1 Jombang yang telah ditunjukkan dengan tercapainya ketuntasan hasil belajar. Kata Kunci : Efektifitas, Model Outdoor Research, Kemampuan Berbicara Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of this research is developing Interactive Learning Media for 8th Grade Students of Junior High School. This is kind of learning media needed by the students in this era which consist of some materials which is appropriate for students. All materials are based on junior high school syllabus of curriculum K13. This research used Research and Development method. This development used ADDIE model that have five steps, those are; 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The results of this research (from the results of validation stage to the results of implementation stage) showed that This learning media is feasible to be used as a learning media for 8th grade students of junior high school. By having those conclusion, it means that this research can be used as reference to other researcher in developing English learning media in different level of students. Key words: Interactive learning media, English skill, Junior High School Students ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Siswa Kelas VIII SMP. Media pembelajaran seperti inilah yang dibutuhkan oleh siswa di era sekarang ini yang terdiri dari beberapa materi yang sesuai untuk siswa. Semua materi berdasarkan silabus SMP kurikulum K13. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development. Pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang memiliki lima langkah, yaitu; 1) Analisis, 2) Desain, 3) Pengembangan, 4) Implementasi, dan 5) Evaluasi. Hasil penelitian ini (dari hasil tahap validasi hingga hasil tahap implementasi) menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran siswa kelas VIII SMP. Dengan adanya kesimpulan tersebut, berarti penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi bagi peneliti lain dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pada tingkat siswa yang berbeda. Abstract

Palaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan oleh timpelaksana di desa Mojokambang kecamatan Bandarkedungmulyo kabupaten Jombang. kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa seminar kewirausahaan untuk membantu para pelaku wirausaha (home industry) agar lebih bersemangat dalam menjalankan usaha rumahannya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini membantu para wirausaha home industry mulai dari bagaimana cara pembuatan produk yang higienis, cara membuat label agar menarik minat pembeli serta cara pengemasan (packaging) produk tersebut.Metode yang digunakan dalam adalah workshop serta pelatihan dan pendampingan.Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini sangat membantu para wirausaha di desa Mojokambang ini.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims at designing an English learning application which called EXI (English Expressing Opinion). This product consists of some materials and exercises which is appropriate and feasible to be studied for students. All materials in this product are based on senior high school Geade XI. The purpose of designing this product is to enhance students’ speaking skill. The research method used in this research is Research and Development. This development used ADDIE model which have several steps, those are; 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The result of this research shows that both the media validation and the material validation are in “very good” category. The students’ responses of try out result also shows in “very good” category. By having those result, this EXI (English Expressing Opinion) application is feasible to be used as a supplementary learning media for students at grade XI. Furthermore this research can be used as reference to other researcher in developing English learning media in different level of students. Abstract

Teachers who have high creativity always try to make the learning process interesting for their students; it could be by using various methods such as using learning media. The use of learning media in the teaching and learning process greatly influences students' learning interest, the emergence of motivation and stimulation in learning, and even brings psychological influences on students. Therefore, the use of learning media at the teaching orientation stage will greatly help the effectiveness of the learning process, so that the goals of learning can be achieved optimally. For this reason, based on the potential and existing problems, researcher try to develop one of the learning media. In this development, the media used is power point based media. The development of this power point-based learning media be developed in learning Fiqh for Class X at MAN 4 Jombang. Validity is illustrated by the results of the validator's assessment, where validator 1's validation results obtain an average of 87.5% and validator 2 obtains an average of 96.8%. So it can be concluded that the average of the two validators is 80% and is included in the good category. Keywords: Development, Fiqh, Learning media, Students

Abstract

This research aims to know the improvement of students' understanding on English text through the implementation of activating schema strategy. Activating schema strategy is one of teaching strategy that focuses on how students are able to understand and comprehend English text easily by connecting their prior knowledge. This research is Classroom Action Research. The object of the research is the 8th grade students at SMP Madinatul Ulum Tembelang Jombang. Number of students consists of 38 people. The data collecting were obtained from teacher observation, field note and student questionnaire. The results of this research indicate the average score of students in English subject prior to the implementation of activating schema strategy of 59.50 (in preliminary study), while the average score after the implementation of the strategy increased up to 71.42 in cycle 2. This indicates an increasing in student learning outcomes after the implementation of this strategy. Furthermore, most students are more motivated and enjoy in teaching learning process
