Abstract

This study aims to determine "the effect of the Mimicry-Memorization Method (Mim-Mem Method) on the Mastery of Mufrodat in Madrasah Aliyah Al Bairuny Sambongdukuh Jombang". The purpose of using the Mimicry-Memorization (Mim-Mem Method) Method for mastering mufrodat in Madrasah Aliyah Al Bairuny is to facilitate students' understanding and mastery of mufrodat on Arabic learning material. Research with quantitative methods uses the type of experimental research (trials) with the type of ordinal data, while the data collection method uses the oral test method. The results of these data have proven that there is an effect of the Mimicry Memorization Method (Mim-Mem Method) on the mastery of mufrodat in Madrasah Aliyah Al Bairuny Sambongdukuh Jombang. The use of this method makes students more active and more effective in studying Arabic subjects, this is evidenced by the average results of oral tests with an average of class XI IPA 1 75.5 and XI IPA 2 with an average 69.8. Abstract

This research aims to describe the process of Arabic language learning at MAN 3 Magetan, particularly with the implementation of Qiro'ah method. The problems found include obstacles experienced by students in learning Arabic and the presence of Qiro'ah method as a solution to these obstacles. This research is a qualitative study with observation and interviews with the Madrasah authorities. The object of the study is XI MIPA I with a total of 32 students. Data is collected through interviews and observations and then analyzed. The observation guidelines are as follows: 1) Observing the state of teaching and learning activities in the classroom, 2) Observing the teacher delivering material and methods, 3) Conducting interviews with relevant parties. The results show that the Qiro'ah method can be an effective alternative in Arabic language learning in class XI MIPA I MAN 3 Magetan, especially in improving students' ability to read Arabic texts. Although there are some obstacles faced, such as students' limited ability, school facilities that need to be improved, and teaching staff's ability that needs to be honed, the researcher believes that with proper analysis, comprehensive solutions, and strong cooperation from all parties, the implementation of Qiro'ah method can run smoothly and effectively. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MAN 3 Magetan, khususnya dengan penerapan metode Qiro’ah. Permasalahan yang ditemukan meliputi kendala-kendala yang dialami peserta didik dalam belajar bahasa Arab dan hadirnya metode Qiro’ah sebagai solusi atas kendala tersebut. Penelitiaan ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan observasi dan wawancara dengan pihak Madrasah. Objek yang diteliti adalah kelas XI MIPA 1 dengan total 32 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi kemudian dianalisis. Adapun pedoman observasi adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Mengamati keadaan kegiatan belajar-mengajar di kelas 2) Mengamati Guru menyampaikan materi beserta metodenya 3) Melakukan wawancara kepada yang bersangkutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Metode Qiro'ah dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif yang efektif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di kelas XI MIPA I MAN 3 Magetan ini, terutama dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca teks bahasa Arab. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi, seperti kurangnya kemampuan siswa, fasilitas sekolah yang perlu ditingkatkan, dan kemampuan tenaga ajar yang perlu diasah, peneliti yakin bahwa dengan analisis yang tepat, solusi yang komprehensif, dan kerja sama yang kuat dari semua pihak, implementasi metode Qiro'ah dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan efektif.
