Abstract

Patients post percutaneous coronary intervention need to take medication for their health. Beliefs about medication influence patients’ adherence in taking their medication regimens. Therefore, the study aimed to identify medication beliefs in patients following percutaneous coronary intervention in Indonesia. This research used a cross-sectional study with the convenience sampling method. A total of 132 adult patients following Percutaneous Coronary Intervention participated in this study. This study used The Beliefs about Medicines Questionnaire to identify patients’ beliefs about medication. The majority of respondents were male (85.6%) with a mean age of 60 years. Beliefs about general overuse were found to be the highest among other categories; specific-necessity, specific concern, and general harm. Elucidating patients’ beliefs about the medication will provide health care providers with a better understanding of patient medication behaviors after percutaneous coronary intervention. Recognition of patients’ beliefs may aid in targeting specific intervention programs to improve patients’ adherence to medication following Percutaneous Coronary Intervention procedure. Keywords: medication beliefs, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) Abstrak  Keyakinan Pengobatan pada Pasien yang Menjalani Intervensi Coronary Percutaneous: A Cross-Sectional Study.

Abstract

The aim of this literature review is to obtain an overview regarding the effectiveness of stretching, such as reducing complaints of low back pain, relaxing muscles, preventing spasms, and preventing musculoskeletal disorders due to work risks and increasing the knowledge of office workers with exercises that can provide comfort. The method used in this journal analysis is a literature review resulting from the identification of several journals. The results of the research show that stretching is a relaxation activity for the muscles that can increase muscle flexibility and mobility and can maximize the range of motion of the joints. Stretching is done routinely 2-3 times every week with 15-30 second movements and repeated 2-3 times. time. In conclusion, stretching is an exercise that has been proven to have a significant effect on reducing low back pain. Apart from that, stretching can also relax the muscles while working, so that office workers can feel comfortable while working. Keywords: Low Back Pain, Pain, Office Workers, Stretching

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the application of therapeutic positions to the vital signs parameters of stroke patients at the Prof. Dr. National Brain Center Hospital. Dr. Mahar Mardjono Jakarta. This research is an application of Evidence-Based Nursing which was applied to 12 respondents. Each patient in the study group was positioned in various therapeutic positions every 2 hours following a semi-fowler's rotating schedule, lying on their side to the healthy side (Unaffected Side Position), lying on their back (Supine Position), and lying on their side to the side with hemiparesis or hemiplegia (Affected Side Position). Based on the results, the average systolic blood pressure decreased on the second post-intervention day (day 2) with a mean of 124.08 and a standard deviation of 3,147, while the diastolic mean was not much different from the first day, namely 83.17 and a standard deviation of 2,657. The average heart rate on the second-day post-intervention decreased with a mean of 84.92 and a standard deviation of 0.900. In the respiration rate variable, the decrease in the mean value post-intervention on the second day was 15.33 (standard deviation 0.888). The mean value for oxygen saturation levels (SPO2) with the mean post-test value on the second day was 99.75 (standard deviation 0.452). So it can be concluded that providing therapeutic positions intervention can reduce blood pressure, heart rate, and respiration rate and increase oxygen saturation. Keywords: Therapeutic Positions, Vital Signs  ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penerapan Therapeutic Positions Terhadap Parameter Vital Signs Pasien Stroke Di Rumah Sakit Pusat Otak Nasional Prof Dr. dr. Mahar Mardjono Jakarta.
