Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of poster comment media in increasing students' critical thinking in the Civics Subject of Class V Students at SDN 112 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative research using a pre-experimental approach. The population and sample of this study are Grade V B students at SDN 112 Pekanbaru totaling 35 students. Data collection techniques using tests, observation, documentation. This test uses validation and reliability. For analysis prerequisite test namely normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test. While testing this hypothesis using the T test results in a significant value of less than 0.05, namely Sig. (0.000) < 0.05 so that Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. The decision to test the hypothesis partially can be concluded that there is an influence of poster comment media on students' critical thinking in Civics learning.

Abstract

Lack of teacher ability in conveying water cycle material, the media that is often used so far still uses picture media to explain. Interactive power point media has the potential to help students understand the material by involving students in learning to increase students' learning motivation. Therefore, researchers are interested in developing learning media in the form of interactive power points which are expected to help the needs of teachers and students in learning material that is easier to understand. This research is research and development using a 4D model which is simplified into three stages, namely (Define, Design, and Development). The data collection instrument is in the form of a questionnaire given to material experts, media experts and language experts to test validity. The type of data obtained from research results is qualitative data which is analyzed using quantitative data in the form of numerical data and interpreted using assessment criteria guidelines to determine product quality. The results of this research produced an interactive PowerPoint media product that met the very valid criteria with an average score of 98.9% for media experts, 97.9% for material experts, and 87.5% for language experts with very valid criteria.

Abstract

The teacher's lack of ability to convey heat energy source material only through two-dimensional visual media. Learning videos have the potential to help students understand the material by involving students in learning to increase student learning motivation. Therefore, researchers are interested in developing learning media in the form of learning videos which are expected to help the needs of teachers and students in learning material at any time. This research is research and development using a 4D model which is simplified into three stages, namely (Define, Design, and Development). the data collection instrument was a questionnaire given to material experts, media experts, and linguists to test the validity. the type of data obtained from the research results is qualitative data which is analyzed using quantitative data in the form of numerical data and interpreted with guidelines for assessment criteria to determine product quality. The results of this study, produce learning video media products that meet very valid criteria with an average score media experts 97%, material experts 100%, and language experts 96.8% with very valid criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to develop new teaching resources for science education courses in elementary schools that emphasize outcome-based education (OBE) and integrate project-based learning (PjBL) and problem-based learning (PBL) methodologies. This development addresses the need to enhance the quality of OBE-based learning materials, highlighting that traditional teaching resources often fail to meet student expectations. This research focuses on the development and validation phase; the limitation of this research is that it does not include effectiveness testing. Employing the Research and Development (R&D) approach guided by the Borg and Gall framework, the study progressed through structured phases: prototype creation, initial testing, refinement, field implementation, and finalization of the product. Participants in this research included subject matter experts, instructional design specialists, media experts, course instructors, and students from the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program. Validation results indicated that the developed materials achieved an average feasibility score of 89.81%, placing them within the "highly valid" category. The use of these teaching materials is anticipated to foster students' critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and collaboration skills, aligning with OBE learning outcomes and the objectives of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative. The study suggests that future research should further investigate the impact and effectiveness of these materials across broader educational settings.

Abstract

This paper describes data from the preliminary research stage, which will be used as a basis for the development of an Elementary Natural Science Learning module based on the learning cycle 7e model integrated with technological knowledge. The development model used is the Plomp model, which is mainly focused on the preliminary research stage. Data collection instruments are interviews, questionnaires, and observation. The research subjects involved two lecturers and 51 students who took Elementary Natural Science Learning courses. The preliminary research that was carried out included the analysis of RPS, analysis of problems and lecturer’s needs, and analysis of problems and students’ needs. The results of the research indicate that based on 9 materials for Elementary Natural Science learning subjects, it was still found problems with learning resources, learning implementation, and teaching materials. In addition, 100% of lecturers’ and students’ responses dealt with developing teaching modules for Elementary Natural Science Learning courses. The research conclusion implies that the results of the preliminaryresearch can be used as a basis for the development of an Elementary Natural Science module based on the learning cycle 7e model integrated with technological knowledge.
