Abstract

Sekolah dapat menjadi wahana pendidikan karakter yang andal dan efektif bagi pembentukan idividu. Sekolah dapat memanfaatkan locos educationis di dalam lembaga pendidikan sebagai  praksis pendidikan karakter. Sejak dahulu sekolah memiliki dua tujuan utama dalam karya pendidikan mereka, yaitu membentuk  manusia yang cerdas, dan berbudi luhur. Mundurnya pendidikan karakter, kita wajib bertanya kembali pada diri sendiri dan pada orang lain terkait relevansinya pendidian karakter dalam sekolah. Kalau masih relevan, bagaimana kita sekarang mau menghidupkan kembali, dan melalui momen-momen pendidikan (locus educationis) mana, kita dapat memberikan pendidikan karakter itu di dalam diri peserta didik. Hancurnya nilai-nilai moral dalam masyarakat yang ditandai dengan merebaknya kekerasan seperti; pemerkosaan gadis dibawah umur, pembunuhan, narkoba dan lain-lainnya, fenomena inilah membutuhkan kelahiran baru pendidikan karakter di dalam sekolah. Momen-momen dalam lingkungan sekolah yang dapat dipakai sebagai sebuah sarana atau kesempatan dalam mengembangkan pendidikan karakter, telah melibatkan jaringan relasional antara staf sekolah dengan orang tua dan masyarakat.Kata Kunci: Sekolah sebagai wahana penguatan pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

This study aims to study the upakara Panca Lingga means of ceremony as a symbol of Panca Dewata in the implementation of Hindu rituals in Lombok. This research was designed in an interpretative qualitative method using a case study model. The results of the study found that the means of ceremony panca lingga is one form of ceremonial facility which is categorized as having a uniqueness that is carried out in the implementation of rituals on the Hindu community in Lombok. The uniqueness that seems in principle is a symbolic to ask for God's grace in its manifestation as the Five Gods, namely Dewa Iswara, Dewa Brahma, Dewa Maha Dewa, Dewa Wisnu and Dewa Çiwa. The Panca Dewata were requested to be present, worshiped and confirmed its place (negtegan) in the ceremony using the ceremony. Upakara Panca Lingga is very sanctified starting from the selection of the material element, which has the right to make it, the procession of its making up to the authority of the devout people, all of which are provisions that indicate the primacy of the ceremony.

Abstract

The problem of education is an issue of human life throughout their life, both as individuals, social groups as well as members of society. A hope for the government and society to the generations of Hindu that schools of Hinduism can be built not only in formal education but through education in formal and non-formal as in the rise and pasraman-pasraman in every Pakraman in Bali, so the creation of a religious culture, the strong one. The phenomenon that occurs in the Hindu generation, where Hindu religious education in the learning process in schools to create a culture of religious solely to meet the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects whereas as if ignored, this happens because of the situation of globalization. Build or revitalize Hindu religious education is actually the duty of teachers and parents with instilling religious values to create a religious culture. A religious culture that is based on religion teacher jobs, selfless, is also a method for building one's values in a comprehensively manner.

Abstract

Provides guidance to Hindus is Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia, Kendari City. Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia or commonly abbreviated as PHDI is the highest assembly of Hindu religious institutions, which was established to serve Hindus in increasing Sraddha and Bhakti based on the Vedic Scriptures, as well as managing and developing Hindus in enhancing their awareness of religious life. Based on this background, researchers are interested in researching the "Communication Strategy of Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia in the Development of Hindus in Kendari City in 2020-2021", with the formulation of the problem, namely 1) What is the communication strategy of Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia in fostering Hindus in Kendari City in 2020-2021? 2) What are the inhibiting factors and supporting factors for the communication of Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia in fostering Hindus in Kendari City in 2020- 2021? 3) What are the implications of the communication of Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia in fostering Hindus in Kendari City in 2020-2021?.The theory used in this research is the theory of therapeutic communication, the theory of symbolic interactionism, and the theory of behaviorism. This study uses a qualitative approach. This type of data collection is qualitative from primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation. The research findings are: 1). The communication strategy implemented by PHDI Kendari City in coaching to increase Sraddha and Bhakti Hindus in Kendari City are public communication, persuasive communication, and direct communication 2) factors that become obstacles and support for PHDI in the coaching process, namely the presence of internal and external factors 3 ) The implications/impacts resulting from the coaching carried out by PHDI Kendari City for Hindus in Kendari City are an increase in and understanding of Sradhha and Bhakti about the teachings of the religion they adhere to. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam Kakawin Putra Sasana Marti, sebuah karya sastra klasik Jawa Kuna yang berbentuk lontar dan ditemukan di Pusat Dokumentasi Dinas Kebudayaan Provinsi Bali. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teori strukturalisme, hermeneutika, dan karakter, penelitian ini menelaah ajaran-ajaran moral, etika, dan spiritual yang terkandung dalam kakawin sebagai pedoman pendidikan karakter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kakawin Putra Sasana Marti memuat enam nilai utama pendidikan karakter: religiusitas, disiplin, kejujuran, kemandirian, gotong royong, dan integritas. Kakawin ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai warisan budaya, tetapi juga sebagai sumber pembentukan kepribadian anak secara holistik sejak dini, dengan menekankan pentingnya dharma, bhakti, dan nilai-nilai luhur dalam kehidupan. Struktur naratif kakawin yang terdiri atas bait-bait berwirama memperkuat pesan moral yang disampaikan. Fungsi dan makna pendidikan karakter dalam kakawin ini sangat relevan untuk diintegrasikan ke dalam sistem pendidikan modern guna membentuk generasi muda yang cerdas secara intelektual dan spiritual. Dengan demikian, karya ini menjadi media penting dalam revitalisasi nilai-nilai budaya dan karakter bangsa di era globalisasi. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Kakawin, Putra Sasana

Abstract

In the current context, character education holds great relevance in addressing the moral crisis affecting Indonesia. This crisis, often overlooked, is alarming and primarily involves the nation's children. It encompasses rising promiscuity, escalating violent behavior among children, student conflicts, plagiarism, drug abuse, and unresolved social issues, among others. Various stakeholders, including policymakers, religious leaders, medical professionals, educators, parents, and the general public, are deeply concerned about this decline in character. Thus, this study aims to investigate the character education conducted in Hindu-based educational institution. This qualitative study took place at Pasraman Gurukula in Bangli Regency, employing purposive sampling to select informants. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation, with subsequent data analysis involving collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion-drawing stages. Validation techniques encompassed source triangulation, time triangulation, and technical triangulation. Character education at Pasraman Gurukula is a collaborative effort involving teachers, community leaders, families, and the community, focusing on teamwork, abilities, honesty, and discipline. The education emphasizes religious and local wisdom-based values, fostering cooperation, nationalism, professionalism, integrity, and independence. Teachers play a pivotal role in instilling these values, contributing to the future well-being of children at Pasraman.
