Abstract

Various government efforts to reduce Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR), Infant Mortality Rate (IMR), and Under-Five Mortality Rate (UFMR) have been carried out through the Maternal and Child Health program. The research aimed to investigate the relationship between MMPI-2 Supplementary Scales Result and Competency Test Result on Makassar Midwifery Alumni in the Period of March 2018.The research used the observational descriptive method with the cross sectional study design. The research population was all midwifery alumni Health Higher School Mega Rezky Makassar and Midwifery Academy Yapma who attended the competency test in the period of March 2018. Samples were selected using the consecutive sampling technique. The samples were as many as 122 respondents who were divided into two groups namely 61 competent and 61 incompetent respondents. Data were collected MMPI-2 test questionnaire distributed to the respondents and examined by experts. The data analysis used the Chi-square test.The research result of the Supplementary scales distribution indicates the significant scales namely : the Anxiety (A),Ego Strength (ES), Responsibility (Re), Post Traumatic Disorder Keane (PK), and Addiction Admission Scale (AAS). This proves that there is the relationship between MMPI-2 Supplementary Scales Result and competency test result. Key words : Supplementary Scales, Midwifery Alumni, Competency Test.
Penggunaan Dressing Alternatif Pada Luka Kaki Diabetik Meningkatkan Residu Klorin Bahtiar Yusuf; Takdir Tahir; Kadek Ayu Kadek Ayu; Yuliati Yuliati

Abstract

Penggunaan dressing modern yang lama membutuhkan biaya yang besar, sehingga praktisi luka menggunakan dressing alternatif (pembalut wanita). Mengidentifikasi penggunaan dressing alternatif terhadap residu klorin dan proses penyembuhan Luka Kaki Diabetik (LKD). Desain penelitian quasi eksperimental dengan pendekatan one grup pre dan post, 10 sampel diintervensi dengan pembalut alternatif berupa pembalut wanita yang digunakan setelah perawatan luka. Pembalut digunakan pada satu luka untuk satu jenis pembalut yang berdasarkan luas luka. Intervensi selama 12 hari dengan penggantian balutan per 2 hari. Pemeriksaan residu klorin (SpectrophotometryUV-Vis) didasar luka dengan teknik swab dihari 1, 6 dan 12, sedangkan proses penyembuhan dengan instrument baku yaitu Diabetis Foot Ulcer Assesment Scale (DFUAS). Residu klorin hari 1, 6 dan 12 yaitu 0.6837, 2.4477 dan 2.7927 ppm dengan nilai p=0.001. Skor rata-rata DFUAS hari 1, 6 dan 12 adalah 29.6, 27.7 dan 24.6 dengan nilai p=0.005. Dengan demikian peningkatan signifikan residu klorin pada dasar luka namun skor DFUAS tetap menurun. Terjadi peningkatan residu klorin pada hari 6 dan 12 perawatan dengan menggunakan dressing alternatif jenis pembalut wanita dan skor DFUAS menurun. Disaranakan bagi praktisi luka untuk mengevaluasi Luka Kaki Diabetik pada saat penggunaan dressing alternatif (pembalut wanita).
