Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning discipline of students in the Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Masjid Baitussalam Kota Padang which allegedly has to do with students' learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to look at the picture and the relationship between students' learning motivation in the Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Masjid Baitussalam Kota Padang. This research is wholly rational, which is looking at the relationship between learning motivation and learning discipline. The research population is the students of the Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Masjid Baitussalam Kota Padang, with a total population of 64 people. The research sample of 32 people taken 50% of the population. The research instrument used to collect data on learning motivation and learning discipline is a questionnaire, using a Likert scale with 4 alternative answers namely: always, often, rarely, and never. Meanwhile, to measure the results of the research data, it is carried out using descriptive formulas and product moments. The results showed that students have a discipline of learning and low motivation to learn, and there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and learning discipline of students in the Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Masjid Baitussalam Kota Padang, this is evidenced by the results of the calculation of correlation using the product-moment formula which shows that the r count (0.495) is greater than rtable both at the 99% confidence level (0.463) and 95% confidence (0.361).Keywords: Students, Learning Motivation, Learning Discipline

Abstract

This research was motivated by the high participation of participants in participating in agricultural extension programs in Nagari Air Gadang, Pasaman District, West Pasaman Regency. It is suspected that the cause of the high participation of participants in the agricultural extension program was the good attitude of the participants in the agricultural extension program. This research was conducted to: 1) describe the attitude of farmers towards the agricultural extension profession, 2) describe the participation of participants in the agricultural extension program, 3) see the relationship between farmers' attitudes towards the agricultural extension profession and its relationship with participation in the agricultural extension program in Nagari Air Gadang, Pasaman District, West Pasaman Regency. This research is correlational quantitative. The population in this study were all members of the group of young unified farmers, amounting to 52 people and 34 people who were sampled by using data collection techniques using a questionnaire, the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and the product-moment correlation formula. The results of this study indicate: 1) the attitude of farmers towards the agricultural extension profession is categorized as very high; 2) the participation of the participants in the agricultural extension program was categorized as very high; 3) there is a very significant relationship between farmers' attitudes towards the agricultural extension profession and its relationship with participation in the agricultural extension program in Nagari Air Gadang, Pasaman District, West Pasaman Regency. The research suggestions are: 1) it is hoped that the government of Nagari Air Gadang, Pasaman District, West Pasaman Regency, to be able to pay attention to and support the businesses carried out by its community groups; 2) it is hoped that young farmer groups will unite to further increase their participation in participating in agricultural extension programs in order to obtain maximum results; 3) It is hoped that the next researcher will be able to find or find other variables that affect the participation of participants in participating in the agricultural extension program..Keywords: Farmer's Attitude, Extension Profession, Participation, Agricultural Extension

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low motivation of students in joining the Spiritual Islam curricular program at SMA Negeri 7 Padang which allegedly represented students' perceptions. The objectives of this study were to: 1) describe student perceptions, 2) describe student motivation, 3) see the relationship between student perceptions and motivation to take part in the extracurricular spiritual program of Islam at SMA Negeri 7 Padang. This study has a status, namely the perception of students' perceptions of student motivation. The population of this study were students who participated in the Spiritual Islam curricular program at SMA Negeri 7 Padang. The total population is 90 students. The research sample was 46 students who were taken 50% of the population. The research instrument used to collect data about student perceptions and student motivation was a questionnaire using a Likert scale with 4 alternative answers: always, often, rarely, never. To measure the results of the data performed using descriptive statistics and product moment statistical analysis. The results showed that students had low motivation and perception in participating in the Spiritual Islam curricular program at SMA Negeri 7 Padang, and there was a significant relationship between students' perceptions and motivation to take part in the Rohani Islam extracurricular program at SMA Negeri 7 Padang. This is evidenced by the results of calculations using the product moment statistical analysis which shows that the r count (0.609) is greater than the table both at the 5% confidence level (0.291) and the 1% confidence level (0.376).Keywords: Student Perceptions, Motivation, Extracurricular Activities

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the personal characteristics of students (learning citizens) and the business potential that is relevant to life skills education programs at the Community Learning Center in Tanah Datar District. This study uses a descriptive quantitative survey method. This study uses 60 samples from 120 population people. Furthermore, the data were analyzed quantitatively descriptive, then clarified with the focus of group discussion (FGD), interviews, observation and verification of documentation. The results showed that participants in the life skills education program in several Community Learning Centers in Tanah Datar District were generally of productive age with adequate formal education (high school level), from pre-prosperous families, and did not have a permanent business. Based on the search for interests, existing skills, and other environmental resource potentials, the appropriate business developed in the future is a business that produces goods from the agricultural sector and goods from business dress, sewing or embroidery skills.Keywords: Life Skills Education, Personal Characteristics, Business Potential

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high interest of students in scouting extracurricular activities at SMP 10 Padang. It is suspected that one of the factors is caused by the good implementation of scout extracurricular activities conducted by the coach. This study aims to provide information on: 1) learning planning, 2) implementation of learning, 3) evaluation of learning for scouting extracurricular programs at level 10 at SMPN Padang. This research uses quantitative approach, type of descriptive research. The study population consisted of 60 students taking part in the Boy Scout extracurricular activities. Samples taken in this study were 50%. The number of samples is 30 people. The sampling technique uses stratified random sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire, with data collection tools in the form of a list of statements. Data analysis techniques using the percentage formula. From the results of the study it was found that (1) Scout extracurricular program learning planning is very good, (2) Scout extracurricular program learning is very good, (3) evaluation of scout extracurricular learning programs is very good. The conclusion of this research is that learning scout extracurricular programs in SMP Negeri 10 Padang is very good. Suggestions to the organizers of the Boy Scout extracurricular program can maintain and improve the implementation of the program to be even better.Keywords: Implementation of Learning, Scout Extracurricular Activities

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning activity of students at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah Nurul 'Ilmi which allegedly had something to do with the students' learning environment. The purpose of this study is to reveal a description of the learning environment of students, the learning activities of students at MDTA Nurul 'Ilmi, and to reveal the relationship between the learning environment and the learning activities of students. This type of research is a descriptive correlational study with a quantitative approach. The population of this study was students from class I to class IV MDTA Nurul Ilmi in 2020, amounting to 59 people and a sample of 60%, namely 35 people with a sampling technique, namely stratified random sampling. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire and the tools used were questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and the product-moment formula. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the learning environment of students at MDTA Nurul 'Ilmi is low; 2) the learning activities of students at MDTA Nurul 'Ilmi are classified as low; 3) there is a significant relationship between the learning environment and the learning activities of students during the Covid-19 Pandemic at MDTA Nurul 'Ilmi, Ulakan Tapakis District, Padang Pariaman Regency. The suggestion of this research is that it is hoped that the teacher creates a comfortable learning atmosphere in the classroom for students so that the learning activities of students increase.Keywords: Learning Environment, Learning Activity

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student achievement in the KSR PMI organization at UNP, this is alleged because it has to do with student activities in the KSR PMI organization at UNP. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) student activities in the KSR PMI organization at UNP, (2) student achievement in the KSR  PMI organization at UNP, and (3) the relationship between student activities in the KSR PMI organization and learning achievement at UNP. This study is a correlational study with a population of KSR PMI members at UNP totaling 195 people. The sampling technique used in this study uses a stratified sampling technique. The population that will be sampled in this study is 30% of the population of 195 people, namely 58 members. Instrument and its development by preparing a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using the percentage frequency and product moment. The results of the study stated that: (1) student activities in the KSR PMI organization at UNP is categorized good, (2) student achievement in the KSR PMI organization at UNP is categorized as poor, (3) there was a significant relationship between student activities in KSR PMI organization with learning achievements at UNP. Based on the results of the study it is recommended that students be able to balance activities both within the organization and in lectures and be able to maintain and improve their learning achievement at the KSR PMI UNP unit.Keywords: Activities, Learning Achievement

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low performance of members of the Bungo Cangkiang farmer group in Padang Pariaman Regency, this is alleged because it has to do with the motivation to follow the agricultural counseling program. This study aims to look at the motivational picture of participating in the extension tile program, the performance picture of farmer group members, and the relationship between the motivation to follow the counseling program and the performance of members of the Bungo Cangkiang farmer group in Padang Pariaman Regency. The approach to this research is quantitative with a descriptive type of correlational research. The research population is a member of Bungo Cangkiang farmer group in Padang Pariaman regency as many as 52 people and the sample was taken as much as 75% of 39 people, with the technique of sampling is random sampling stratified. In this research, the data collection techniques used are questionnaires and tools used, namely questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using percentage formulas and product moment formulas. The results of this study showed that: 1) the motivation to participate in the counseling program of farmer group members is relatively low; 2) the performance of farmers group members is relatively low; 3) There is a significant relationship between the motivation to participate in the counseling program and the performance of members of the Bungo Cangkiang farmer group in Padang Pariaman Regency. It is expected that the extension of field agriculture (PPL) to be more sensitive to the formation of motivation and improvement of the performance of members of the Bungo Cangkiang farmer group.Keywords: Motivation, Program Counseling, Performance
