Abstract

Dengan metode permainan bingo dapat membuat mahasiswa lebih aktif dalam kelas. Data antara kelas eksperimen dan control baik itu pretest maupun posttest diuji dengan menggunakan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov didapatkan bahwa tidak semua data berdistribusi normal. Setelah itu membandingkan data posttest antara kelas eksperimen dan control dengan uji mann whitney,  menunjukkan nilai Signifikansi atau Asymp. Sig. (2 –tailed) lebih kecil dari probabilitas 0,05 maka didaptakan hipotesis terima Ha, berdasarkan output “test statistics”  dalam uji mann whitney diketahui bahwa nilai Asymp. Sig. (2 –tailed) sebesar 0,434 lebih kecil dari probabilitas < 0,05. Oleh karena itu sebagaimana dasar pengambil keputusan uji mann whitney diatas maka dapat disimpulka bahwa terima Ha. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan control, karena ada perbedaan yang signifikan maka rumusan masalah penelitian terjawab yakni ada pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran dengan permainan bingo terhadap hasil belajar pada mahasiswa. Setelah itu membandingkan hasil belajar dikelas Eksperimen antara pretest dan postest maka didapatkan uji hipotesis hasil belajar antara pretest dan posttest dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon antara pretest dan posttest dikelas ekperimen maka diperoleh .  Positif rank antara hasil belajar untuk pres test dan post test, disini terdapat 26 data positif (N) yang artinya ke 26 mahasiswa tersebut mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar dari nilai pre test ke nilai post test, mean rank atau rata-rata peningkatan adalah sebesar 18,83, sedangkan rangking positif atau sum of ranks adalah 489,50.

Abstract

Community Service (PKM) is a form of the Tridharma of Higher Education. This PKM is proposed to carry out socialization and educational activities. The basic material in learning mathematics at the elementary school level starts with addition, subtraction, to multiplication and division of numbers. But in the multiplication and division material, many students experience difficulties. Actually there are many learning methods that are used to make it easier for students to understand and memorize multiplication. One of them is the jarimatics method. In this method students are not required to memorize but students are taught to be able to understand multiplication by using their limbs, namely their fingers. With jarimatika students will learn multiplication easily and fun. The method used in this PKM is education and hands-on practice of the jarimatics method in multiplication problems. As a result, students become more aware of multiplication and feel happy with the method being taught, because it makes it easier for them to calculate multiplication.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of using traditional Engklek games for socialization to introduce plane figures at SDN 27 Lubuk Alung. The socialization activities were successfully conducted, achieving the following indicators: 1) Participant Engagement: The target number of participants was met with high levels of engagement. Observations during the activities revealed that students were very active in answering the questions incorporated in the Engklek game. They displayed enthusiasm by eagerly raising their hands upon completing the tasks. 2) Achievement of Objectives: After the series of socialization activities, a feedback session was conducted with the students. The results indicated that students felt happy and more motivated to learn through this method. These findings suggest that incorporating traditional games like Engklek into educational activities can enhance student engagement and motivation, thereby facilitating effective learning.

Abstract

Mastery of the concept of multiplication is a fundamental ability that needs to be mastered by primary school students as a foundation for learning further mathematical material. Unfortunately, many learners have difficulty in understanding multiplication thoroughly, both due to the abstract nature of the material and the lack of varied teaching methods. One of the main challenges is the decreased motivation to learn when facing multiplication topics that are considered complicated and boring. This programme introduces the lattice method as an alternative to learning multiplication at the primary level. This visual technique breaks down the multiplication process into structured steps that are easier to understand. The activity involved grade IV students and mathematics teachers at SDN 31 Jati Tanah Tinggi Padang as an effort to innovate numeracy learning. Implementation included socialisation, training, practice, and collaborative evaluation between teachers and students. Assessment instruments included learning interest questionnaire, comprehension test, observation sheet, and group discussion. As a result, the lattice method was proven to improve not only comprehension but also students' participation, confidence, and enthusiasm. Thus, this approach can be a solution to create more interesting and effective learning.
