Abstract

Woven crafts made by women at the Sajingan Besar frontier, besides that it also has economic value, historical value, cultural values that show the identity of the population at the national boundary. The aims of the study were to describe the role of weavers’ women in strengthening nationalism, woven is a culture that is typical of the society in Sajingan Besar frontier, Sambas District. There are two data used in this paper, i.e primary data is field studies, and secondary data is literature studies. The result of research shown that there is an important role from weavers’ women in Sajingan Besar, namely: (1) Utilization of Natural Resources is to strengthen nationalism by utilizing the availability of natural resources in managing them into woven crafts which are a form of expansion of nationalism because woven crafts are a cultural heritage and has local characteristics of Sajingan Besar, (2) The Role of weavers’ women in Sajingan Besar is able to realize a harmonious life with the Malaysian community to strengthen nationalism has become a role model on the frontier whose territory is inhabited by a variety of different tribes, religions and cultures but unity is maintained.

Abstract

Salah satu kerajinan anyaman tangan Kalimantan Barat berasal dari perbatasan Sajingan Besar Kabupaten Sambas, kerajinan anyaman tangan tersebut merupakan warisan secara turun temurun yang membutuhkan pembinaan melalui inovasi dari regenerasi baru. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif,  peneliti melakukan wawancara dari berbagai informan dan mengumpulkan data sekunder dari instansi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat dua faktor penghambat pengembangan kerajinan anyaman tangan di wilayah perbatasan Sajingan Besar Kabupaten Sambas dalam menghadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN yaitu: 1) pola pikir masyarakat kurang inovatif dikarenakan kurangnya lembaga pendidikan dan pembinaan anyaman kerajinan untuk masyarakat sehingga kerajinan anyaman tangan sulit berkembang. Rendahnya kualitas sumber daya manusia membuat pelaksanaan Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN tidak terlalu dirasakan oleh masyarakat perbatasan Sajingan Besar Kabupaten Sambas; 2) pemasaran produktifitas kerajinan anyaman tangan terkendala karena belum diresmikannya Pos Lintas Batas Negara Aruk di Kabupaten Sambas sehingga produk kerajinan anyaman tangan di wilayah perbatasan Sajingan Besar Kabupaten Sambas sulit bersaing dalam menghadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN.

Abstract

The development of learning media is essential to improve students’ learning interest and motivation. The current study aimed at investigating the development and the feasibility of UNO STACKO learning media in economics subjects at State Senior High School 1 Aceh Barat Daya, Indonesia. It also investigates the response of teachers and students of the school after using uno stacko learning media in the teaching and learning process. This study used Research and Development (RD) approach using the ADDIE model. The study engaged 31 students and one teacher of economics subject. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The results showed (1) the development of uno stacko learning media is worth testing at the school with material employment; (2) the feasibility level of uno stacko learning media in economics subjects is acknowledged very feasible with an average percentage of 85% with a very decent category; and (3) the response of teachers and students to the learning media of uno stacko showed very feasible, judging from the questionnaire of teacher and student responses with percentages of 81.66% and 89.87% respectively.Keywords: Uno stacko, learning media, economics subject, and student.

Abstract

The development of Islamic economics or so-called sharia economy in Indonesia is currently growing so rapidly. The presence of sharia banks in the community considered able to overcome the difficulties that occur when saving in conventional banks. As is well known to conventional banks using interest. While already known also the interest system on the bank classified riba a thing that is forbidden in Islam. As for the formulation of this research problem is 1) What drives the decision of customers to save at Bank Aceh Sharia Branch Banda Aceh? 2) What are the most dominant factors affecting customers to save at Bank Aceh Syariah Branch of Banda Aceh ?. The approach used in this research is quantitative approach with descriptive research type. The techniques used in data collection are library research, field research in the form of observation, documentation and questionnaire.The result of the research indicates that that encourages the decision of customers to save at Bank Aceh Syariah branch of Banda Aceh because it is influenced by several factors ranging from product with a total value of 4.13 average in very high category, profit sharing system with total average value equal 3, 94 in the high category, the service with the same average total of 3.95 in the high category, the promotion with a total grade of 3.56 in the high category, the location with a total average value of 3.92 in the high category and psychological factors with a total grade of 4.05 in very high category. Then the most dominant influence is the product where the product is the first thing that most dominant influence the decision of customer to save at Bank Aceh Syariah branch of Banda Aceh with total value average 4,13 in very high category.
