Abstract

Design of Induction Motor Drive Without Velocity Sensor Using Current Vector Controller with Full and Reduced Observer Moving to DQ Axis. The observer is used in estimation velocity sensor usually in α-β axis, therefore this situation will need an extra transformation when we want to add compensator because the flux model is in direct and quadrature-axis dq. Every used the transformation to make possible emerge an error. So in this simulation is used a method to estimate the velocity of induction motor drive with observer that is moved to dq-axis. The model of actual motor used is in alfa-beta axis, but the observer use the motor models in rotor flux oriented control (RFOC).This matter, also to prove that the different models of motor drives can be used between the actual and estimated one. The simulation results with C-MEX S-function Matlab/Simulink 6.5 to show that the full order observer in dq axis gives better performance than the reduced order observer.

Abstract

The discourse on the development of the military strategy nowdays is inseparable from the globalization. Defense experts are faced with an increasing trend of international system instability and it is increasingly difficult to predict. The presence of new technology also influences the characteristics of modern conflicts where future wars are becoming increasingly complex. In general, wars are planned by the aggressor for a short period of time in order to achieve victory quickly, however, the little ones force long-lasting wars as protracted wars. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive design. The purpose of this study is to analyze how far the interopability between the branches of the land arm in the protracted war scheme in Indonesia is. The research was carried out at the Army Headquarters and the Army Education and Training Command. The research data were analyzed in four steps, namely data reduction, presenting data, integrating data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that it requires strengthening of interopability between dimensions in the protracted war scheme in Indonesia. The conclusion is that in modern warfare, interoperability is absolutely necessary in military operations. Suggestions for the need for further research on interoperability between branches in the Army Forces in a protracted war scheme are more specific in one large island defense area.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the factors that impact the growth of Cemara Beach Forest Tourism and its effect on the earnings of farmer households. The respondents were selected through the census method, with a total of 65 units. The approach employed for analysis was path analysis and paired t test. The study revealed that the attractiveness and tourism environment of Cemara beach forest, which includes Attractions, Amenities, Accessibility, and Auxiliary Services, had a good achievement level of 72.90%. Supporting Institutions for tourism also achieved a good criterion of 65.85%. Additionally, community participation showed good conditions with a good criteria achievement level of 61.92%. The development of Cemara Beach Forest Tourism attained a good criteria achievement level of 77.93%. Tourist Attraction and Environment had a positive correlation r = 0.89, indicating a very close relationship with Supporting Institutions. This suggests that the better the Supporting Institutions are, the better the Tourist Attraction and Environment. Community Participation demonstrated an indication of a very close relationship with Tourist Attraction and Environment. This implies that community participation increases with better tourist attractions and the environment. Supporting Institutions had a positive correlation r = 0.89 with community participation, indicating a close relationship. This implies that the better the Supporting Institutions, the better the community participation. Tourist Attraction and Environment, Supporting Institutions, and Community Participation had a positive effect on the development of Cemara beach forest tourism, with tourist attraction having the greatest influence at 46.85%, followed by Supporting Institutions at 25.82%, and Community Participation at 23.58%. The development of Cemara coastal forest tourism had a positive impact on the income of farmer households, increasing it by an average of 67.16%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of communication, emotional intelligence, and organizational culture on employee performance at the Indonesian Land Transportation Polytechnic-STTD (PTDI-STTD). In the era of digital transformation and globalization, employee performance becomes a fundamental factor determining organizational success in achieving strategic goals. The research employed a quantitative descriptive design with an explanatory approach involving 105 civil servant employees as respondents selected through stratified random sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using closed questionnaires with a 1-5 Likert scale, then analyzed using SPSS with multiple linear regression techniques. The results showed that simultaneously, communication, emotional intelligence, and organizational culture significantly influence employee performance (F calculated 40.344 > F table 2.69, sig. 0.001 < 0.05). Partially, all three variables also proved to have significant effects with organizational culture showing the most dominant influence (? = 0.478), followed by emotional intelligence (? = 0.201), and communication (? = 0.134). The coefficient of determination of 0.822 indicates that 82.2% of employee performance variation can be explained by these three variables. These findings confirm the importance of an integrated approach in developing effective communication, emotional intelligence, and positive organizational culture to improve employee performance in higher education transportation institutions.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are an important foundation for individuals in the modern era. This ability is not only needed at a high level, but also from an early age, including in elementary schools. Unfortunately, its application in elementary schools is still minimal. Assessing the critical thinking skills of 4th grade students in the material of perimeter and area of a square, analyzing its relationship with learning independence, and knowing the level of student understanding of the material. Quantitative research with descriptive and correlational design. A sample of 7 4th grade students was selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and questions. Data were analyzed using inferential statistics. Students' critical thinking skills are still low. There is a significant positive relationship between learning independence and critical thinking skills. Students' level of understanding of the perimeter and area of a square still needs to be improved. Critical thinking skills of 4th grade students in the material of the perimeter and area of a square need to be improved. Efforts to improve students' critical thinking skills need to be made by paying attention to the important role of learning independence. In addition, learning the perimeter and area of a square needs to be designed more effectively to improve students' understanding. These findings provide important implications for educators to: (1) Increase the focus on developing students' critical thinking skills in learning; (2) Integrate aspects of learning independence in learning to support the development of students' critical thinking skills; (3) Design more effective and student-centered learning of the perimeter and area of a square. This research is expected to contribute to the development of mathematics learning in elementary schools, especially in improving students' critical thinking skills and learning independence in square perimeter and area material.
